Misused (first Alt-Names crowner 21 Feb 2021): Crazy Awesome

That's what I thought.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.

I feel like the YMMV trope is less "audience likes quirky Cloudcuckoolander characters" and more "fans think a character is cool/awesome because they're not normal" - which would cover both actually insane characters and merely quirky characters. I feel like both these types of characters could be encompassed by one YMMV trope.

Isn't the quirky Cloud Cuckoolander one covered by Adorkable more than this?

According to the Laconic page for Adorkable, it's when "A character is somewhat awkward, but it comes off cute" - which is a bit different from the proposed separate trope.

Laconics aren't the end all be all; you may be right that it isn't Adorkable, but the laconic shouldn't be trusted in isolation. They're very often wrong or misleading.

I'm a bit late on this, but I agree with the disambiguation page idea.

It's been a few weeks since the disambig was made. Should a project thread be made to dewick Crazy Awesome?

I don't actually have any Bumblebee icons, I just think the nickname is funny.

Here's the project thread for it. As mentioned in said thread, most wicks can be changed to SugarWiki.Awesome Moments, Success Through Insanity, or Crazy Is Cool without discussion. Any wicks that you're unsure of can be discussed in the thread.

... I think that's all we have to do in TRS. Any objections to closing this (incredibly lengthy) thread?
