Unclear Description: Our Elves Are Better

Yeah. Cleanup is a good time to cut ZCEs. Some troper can add them back later with proper context if they do fit.

I sorted the remaining examples, just to get that out of the way.

Does anyone have objections to move the sandbox contents of Sandbox.Our Elves Are Different (up to the Western Animation folder) to Main.Our Elves Are Different?

I'd have no objections. Of course, I'm the one who did the transferring and rearranging, so there's that.

I said Our Elves Are Better would be redirected, but it would be better as a disambig between Our Elves Are Different, Superior Species, and Can't Argue with Elves, no?

Should a mod swap in the disambig or can we do that?

I viewed some once-tropes-now-disambiguations on the Ambiguity Index, and none were mod edits.

Potholes to the word "elves" or [insert elf-like race here] can just be cut, right?

Nah, elves themselves can be linked to Our Elves Are Different.

I've disambiguated the page, by the way, and sent the subtropes and redirects to the cutlist.

I’m on mobile rn so I can’t do it, but the quotes page looks like it should be split before cutting.

All of the quotes there talk about "haughty elves" though, so I'm not sure if any of them can be moved to Quotes.Our Elves Are Better.

I moved the haughtiness and betterness ones to Quotes.Superior Species and Quotes.Cant Argue With Elves. There were a handful that I moved to Quotes.Our Elves Are Different.

Video examples also need to be removed.

I'm unable to cut list the subpage and I don't know how to get rid of them otherwise.

Mods have to move the videos; IIRC that’s what was done for Wedding Day.

As far as I can tell, the videos need to be reuploaded to the new destination, unless if I'm not noticing a means of actually moving it.

I'll take a look at the wicks this aft. Just for clarification, is Our Elves Are Better still a valid trope for Elves being superior/perceiving themselves as superior

No — Superior Species for “superior”, Can't Argue with Elves for “perceiving themselves as superior and puts others down for it”. Sometimes the line can be blurry, but if the example focuses more on the traits (eg. “elves are stronger, faster, and prettier”) I put it in the former, and if it focuses more on pride I put it in the latter.
