Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Believing that Scipion was still inside the ruins, Mewtwo and Giegue took over for the next nominations, sending Terra and N to the arena.
As they were waiting for the season to begin, Giegue asked Mewtwo if he wanted to play a game of chess with him. Mewtwo raised his eyebrows but agreed and listened to Giegue's explanations on the rules.
"It's Maria who taught me about this game. I may sounds arrogant for saying this but I'm currently undefeatable at this."
"Getting confident are we? You shouldn't underestimate my intellectual abilities. And before we start, no mind reading." the cocky Pokemon replied. Giegue smiled, a bit excited.
"We'll see about that. And yes, no mind reading allowed."
Database Library
"Oh sweet Arceus..." Alex muttered, shocked by how Landorus was turned into cheese by Doge. Aaron also cringed at the gruesome sight.
Once they entered the library, the Rescue Squad saw 6k1 telling "hire a samurai" to get out of the building before greeting them and explaining the situation.
"Yeah, that sure is weird. At least, no one got hurt outside of the arena."
The Squad nodded as they saw 6k1 nominating Meloetta, they didn't mind.
Aaron noticed that 6k1 started to sweat and looked nervously at his friends. Was it because of what happened with him and Scipion? Alex gave him a supporting look in response while Tokage silently nodded. Aaron gulped.
"Ermm... Are you okay? I-I mean, I know how bad our first meeting was so if you want, we can leave..."

"Yes, I'm okay," says 6k1. "It's just that one of my nominator friend's assistant was sent there against her will, and that might happen to my own assistants, too..."
She explains to them about Ally, her robot assistant who helps her with her work; Dupe, the Experiment who clones her for efficiency; and Mimi, her pet Starble who serves as her healer.
"They're all like my own children, so I worry if any of them get sent there, and again for Ally's case. At least GC (may he rest in peace) asked me permission before he first nominated her as a killer robot in Season 54, but now that she's received training and had her AI upgraded to a good one, I'm sure she can handle it. Besides, I can just rebuild her afterwards."
She also clarifies that Ally became her assistant after she was repaired and given to her.
"Anything else you need from me?"

Marx glares at Kirby and Magolor. Nearby, Lucas watched as his father is turned into a trophy.
"How convenient... Now perish!"
Marx fires his cannon at Kirby and Magolor.
"Nooooooo!"
Ness jumps into the line of fire.
Kirby and Magolor open their eyes... to see Ness turned into an inanimate trophy.
"N.. Ness?"
Marx laughs as he aims his cannon at Lucas. Suddenly...
"PK Fire!"
Ness' three friends, Jeff, Paula, and Poo, are here! Paula blasts a strong PK Fire at poor Marx, while Jeff fires his bottle rockets. Poo delivers a devastating PK Starstorm, stunning Marx. Marx and his robots ran away.
"Whew..."
The Spacepod
"And.. and he turned my dad into a statue! And now he turned Ness too!"
"Whoa, calm down, Lucas!" asked Magolor. Paula touches Ness' trophy, saddened.
"What did Marx do!?"
"Hang on! This is just like what happened during one of Kirby's outings! Yeah! It's the Subspace Army Dedede told me the other day!"
"S-Subspace Army?"
"Yeah! That army covered Kirby's place with darkness called "Subspace" and uses cannons to turn fighters into trophies! Ness has became a trophy!"
"..."
"Are they... coming back? Has they recruited him?"
"I don't know."
Magolor then makes a video call to 6k1.
"Miss Manager! Marx is on the loose, and now he has a cannon that can turn you into a trophy!"
Magolor then tells 6k1 all about the Subspace Army, their threat towards Kirby and his fellow fighters in the legendary Smash Bros tournament, and how Marx somehow got hold of one of their devices.
"But the point is, he's on the loose! Make sure you spread the word to all your nominator friends and your tributes!"

6k1 heeds Magolor's warning and passes it to the Rescue Squad. She also mass messages her nominator friends and her tributes as advised.
"Aaron, your Smash counterpart's a fighter, so I hope he's prepared..."
Hotland
Alphys receives 6k1's message and passes it to Tabby via UnderNet. When the latter relays it to Ralsei, he can only cup his mouth in fear.
"Stay safe, everyone..."

Susie's Ship, District 1
"Forte, this is King in Yellow, please withdraw from your current duty, we'll participate in the next season. It'll be a great opportunity to put your combat training to use. Ribey will be taken care of by Susie, so don't worry."
"Solid copy, boss."
All in a sudden, Forte receives a transmission from her boss. She has to leave the ship and prepare for the next season, as both herself and her boss are the tributes for the next season.
Susie, once this season is ended, I expect this girl would be back in one piece."
She leaves 10000 Panem Dollar on the table and jumps off from the ship using a parachute, gliding toward the Capitol.
"Boss, it is an honour to fight alongside you."

"I see. Let's hope that everything will be alright." Aaron said, relieved that he wasn't the cause of 6k1's sweating.
"Wow! You have a pet?! A robot assistant?! That's awesome! I love pets! I mean... as long as thy don't try to shower me with water..." Alex exclaimed.
Then 6k1 received news about Marx.
"So that means that Smash counterpart have faced with this weapon before..." Aaron pondered
"I see. Don't worry about us, I'm sure we can handle this Marx if he try to do anything stupid."
Aaron put one of his paw behind his head.
"We also came here to see if you or any nominators asides from... him needed any help. After all, you risked your life for me, so I have to help you in return. And asides from you, we Don't really know that much about your assistants or the other nominators."
At the same time, Mewtwo and Giegue quickly glanced at 6k1's mail since they were already busy with their games of chess.
"Hmph. I should be able to reflect this with ease. Whatever." Mewtwo said before wondering about his strategy against Giegue.
Meanwhile, 2 hidden figures, a small and a big one were watching Marx fighting Kirby's crew. The smaller figure smiled wickedly.
"That's pathetic. That ugly ball can't even deal with those weaklings. And look at that brat over there." he said, watching Lucas's despair.
"Seriously, he lost his dog, his dad and his friend! He's so worthless he'd better kill himself! AH!"
"No." the taller figure said. "We've got no time. We must find the boss quickly."
"Shut you trap you fucking idiot, I know." the smaller being hissed before smirking again.
"Then again, seeing how those humans are harmless... I'm not against stopping by and, ya know..."
"Play with them? Only when we'll be bored. We have the boss to find. She told us to hurry."
The tallest figure began to walk away, ignoring the scene.
"HEY! Wait for me you godamn prick!" the smaller one screamed.
"Oh. Sorry..." the taller one said, visibly sorry.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Now move that stupid ass of yours and let's find him."
The smaller figure jumped to the taller one's shoulder and both disappeared into the woods.

"Thanks for the offer Aaron, but I don't need any help right now. However, Tabby needs help in finding the Dragon Ball since her assistant Pecan was sent to the Arena, as I said earlier. It's in Hotland, so if you wish, I can send you there to meet with Alphys for your briefing so you can catch up with them."
She briefly explains why Tabby needs to find it, then turns to Alex.
"You're a Fire-type, so I'm sure you can cover for their weaknesses there, right? Anyway, I have an interview with that new nominator who's running the Detective Agency, so I have to be going."

Bale saw 6K1's message and quickly began to start his base's defenses.
Bale: You heard her, guysm let's get our defenses ready!
MD and MG immediately began to activate the defense measures of the base. While Bale contacted his acquaitances to warn them as well.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

"Of course! I'm sure we can help finding that Dragon Ball. But we don't really know how this other universe works..."
"I'm sure this Alphys will be able to explain everything Aaron. Very well, you can count us in. And don't worry about me or Aaron, we should be able to support the heat, if it's not too hot or too fiery."
"Yeah, and I can protect you. I mean I don't know what Hotland looks like, but even if there's lava, it should be alright."
"Yes. Can you bring us to this Alphys, please? And good luck for that interview."
Not too far away, the small being from earlier, a Morgrem, was looking at the scene using a pink Bubble in one of his hands. He was especially more focused on the Pokemons. His taller companion, a bulky Amped form Toxtricity was resting loudly.
"Onox. Wake up."
The Toxtricity named Onox didn't respond.
"HEY WAKE UP SCUMBAG!!" the Morgrem yelled. Onox yamwned loudly in response.
"Hmmmm... What? But Morgan, I was sleeping..."
"I. Don't. Fucking. Care." groaned the Morgrem named Morgan. "Just get your ass over here."
"Is it the boss?" Onox asked, still sleepy.
"Nah. I can't find him. Either he's using his stupid illusions, or that old hag became senile. However, look who's with the ugly chick..."
Morgan grinned as he showed the scene to the sleepy Toxtricity. Suddenly Onox growled in anger and immediately got up.
"Rescue Squad..." he said, fulminating inside. Morgan smirked at his reaction.
"Yup. I dunno if the other freak found him, but I guess we can let them do the hard work while we can have our little fun..."
"Let's follow them! We'll bring their heads to the boss!"
Morgan facepalmed himself. "You overgown piece of shit, we can't just face them like that. Besides they won't be alone and we'll be only 2 so trying to kill them or any of their buddies would be suicide. And let's not talk about the old witch's reaction."
The Morgrem smirked wickedly. "But, I have a more... vicious idea. Nothing too complicated, but enough to piss them all off..."

After sending the Squad off, 6k1 goes back to the basement to be cloned by Dupe so she can maintain communication with them while interviewing TT at the same time. 6k1 orders 6k2 to have the Library's defenses reinforced by the Maintenance Department, then does an inventory check before going outside. There, she rubs her crystal ball and informs Power of her interview.
"Really? I've been wondering about him, too, so good luck!"
Power also informs her of her friendship lessons for Paper, but 6k1 warns her of Marx.
"Oh Celestia... she might be worrying about that, too, so I need to go there!"
"Alright, make sure your house is secured and that Miranda knows a way to escape in case he attacks. Good luck!"
"Same to you!"
6k1 rubs the ball again and has the portals summoned for them. She then emails GC's old account to give whoever's running his base a heads-up, then heads off there.
Power's Home
Power sees the portal appear in front of her and goes back inside to inform Miranda about current events.
"Take my Invisibility Cloak, too, and make sure that the barrier's up and running."
"Will do so, my dear." Miranda hugs her. "And good luck with your lessons!"
Power waves goodbye and heads off to her Art School.
I'm sure Ichi will be safe in his bunker...
Alphys's Lab
After watching Kris clear the first challenge, Alphys hears the doorbell. She lets the Rescue Squad in and introduces herself.
"You're also gonna help find the Dragon Ball? The search party already solved the puzzles on the first level, so take the elevator to meet them on the second."
She also applies cooling dirt on Aaron and Tokage.
"Do any of you have a phone? If so, I'll upgrade it and friend you on UnderNet before you leave. Either way, good luck!"
After they leave, she gives Tabby a heads-up about them and messages her Underground friends to warn them of Marx, then goes to her worktable to repair the anti-teleport devices and build a forcefield generator.

Billy's Mansion
Billy's Clone has returned to his Mansion since few days ago. While he himself managed to avoid being poisoned, his team didn't, and they had to be treated with quickly-manufactured Nihilego toxin antidotes lest they become like Lusamine. The team members then returned to their worlds after the journey, though they definitely learned a thing or two about not relying too much on powers or else they would become crutches.
And now back to present day. Billy's Clone is proud at Angry German Kid doing well, though he'll definitely have to make him get a bit of help following what he did to other tributes in that season, as well as the trauma Doge inflicted. He soon nominates The Drifter and Marko by having other assistants send them to him, as well as Edward Kenway and a possible fourth tribute as he heard that a new Hunger Games similar to the main one will be hosted for the first time.
Then, he hears news from Kayla that Pecans has just vanished mid-air in the middle of the puzzle, and then mysteriously reappears in the Arena. She said to him, "I don't know how it can happen, but one of our allies, Pecans, just disappeared into thin air during the puzzle."
As the clone is surprised mentally by this, he starts to think who could have pulled it out. As his original's power before the event that realized everyone showed that it could be Terminus pulling it on the ARMY, he immediately thinks it could be him too.
Billy decides to relay this into 6k1, Tabby, and Dave first: "Hello. After doing some investigation, I speculate that the mysterious nominator who sent the BTS ARMY, and now Pecan is actually one of the beings who timewrecked Timewrecker and tempted Jimin, Terminus. I base this on the hints I get using my power and other equipments to support it."
As he sends the message with maximum, very hard to crack encryption, he can't help but think that Terminus could be watching him regardless and that step will be useless, considering his godlike powers. This also makes him think of a possibility, that he will try to hurt him in the future, possibly by kidnapping Arcturus, George, or Kayla and nominating them into the Game against their wills. He's hoping he'll do it once the simulator project is up, due to the significantly reduced chance of death.
And after this, he hears of Marx's invasion from Mr. Star. Immediately, he sends a message to Hat Kid wishing her to stay safe, as well as offering refuge if she wants. He then prepares to deal with Marx when the time comes.
The Arena
Detective Tableturner is still in the Detective Agency rather than his former mentor's base. He is disappointed at how Breakbot failed.
"I guess that DJ who's a were-robot isn't equipped with wits after all. Hmm, I think I should train future detectives or heroes harder."
He then ponders on the implications of his reveal. He is aware that before Breakbot applied, he hasn't shown himself to all the nominators yet and that only Billy and his group know of his existence thanks to also inheriting the base.
The Underground
The group has reached Mettaton's show. Sandy commented, "I'm going to kick your show with karate." She then starts by trying to climb and hop around the walls to reach Mettaton, while avoiding the eggs and flour.
Meanwhile, Tsubakura is just uninterested, but they quip, "A challenge eh? I'm going to show that I am superior." Immediately, they float and tries to fly into where Mettaton is, while dodging the flour and eggs too. Being experienced in danmaku, they know how to dodge the hazards.
And then, the rest on the ground, Patchouli and Nitori, witness Pecan suddenly vanishing into thin air. As they are confused by this, they hear Kayla calling Billy's Clone about it. They soon witness the Rescue Squad coming in and greet them.
Jungle Planet
Sir Blackblood is relaxing by drinking dark wine when he gets visited by one of his generals, Tusker. General Tusker reports to him, "Sir Blackblood. The extermination of the Power Hawks is successful. We have exterminated about 104 of those pests, and they are now shipped to the black market of the multiverse by the economic commander. We also kept some to be sent to GASK, as well as our own experimentation."
"Very well. Thanks for the news General Tusker. You are now dismissed." General Tusker immediately salutes Sir Blackblood before leaving. Then, Sir Blackblood receives a report from another commander, General Brightman. He is a commander responsible for the science, magic, and knowledge of the organization. It says, "Salutations Sir Blackblood. I am General Brightman. We have discovered a new material that the Starbles can eat, and will leave them dead. We know that they can tolerate a bomb, so we invent a weapon that can kill them."
Sir Blackblood replies, "Tell me more about it General Brightman."
The Capitol Hospital
Billy is now awake. While he's still sick, he is able to eat and drink now, though he's currently limited to soft food like porridge in small amounts. Over the past days, he has also been visited by his tributes and pet, who recover quicker than him enough that while they are still hospitalized for a bit more, they will also be released earlier than him and they can visit him in wheelchairs with assistance of the nurses.
He is currently watching the TV when he sees a news titled, "A SKELETON IS FOUND IN AN ALLEY IN THE CAPITOL". As he watches the news, he hears that they are found by Peacekeepers who are searching for Hassel, though currently the skeleton is unidentified.

GC's Base
6k1 arrives at the base and passes through security. Once she's accepted, she knocks on the door.
"Hello...? Anyone there...?"
No response.
"Huh, I guess the interviewee hasn't arrived yet..."
She waits for him. A few minutes pass, and a robot finally opens the door.
Madam, I assume that you are looking for Detective Tableturner. He is still at the Detective Agency.
"Thank you sir, I'll be on my way."
GC's Detective Agency
6k1 steps out of another portal and knocks on the door.
"Greetings sir, I'm TRP-6001, Database Manager and Head Librarian of the Database Library. I'm here to conduct an interview with you after watching you handle this agency last season."
The Database Library, Basement
6k2 watches the news while waiting for the next season. She spits out her hot cocoa when the Peacekeepers find the skeleton.
"Could that be Hassel?! I really hope it's not..."
She also receives Billy's Clone's message about his theory regarding Pecan's sudden Arena appearance. 6k2 ponders on this, but she can't jump to conclusions. She'll just leave it to the authorities to investigate this case.
Power's Art School
Power steps out of the portal and into the teacher's lounge and greets her clone.
"Nice sweater!" says Paper, "where did you get that?"
"Ichi sewed this for me as congrats for finishing my lessons with Twilight and Fluttershy!"
"Aww, really? It suits you!"
Power smiles at the compliment.
"Speaking of lessons, I'm here to pass them on to you."
"Thank Celestia for that. Just when I thought I was needlessly worrying about Lord English, Marx suddenly becomes a new threat to my, er... our school..."
"That's why I'm here. I'll also do a security inspection with you after this. Now close your eyes... and breathe in... and breathe out..."
Alphys's Lab
Alphys finishes building the generator and gives it a test run. A barrier similar to the one that sealed the monsters underground surrounds the lab, and it should be able to repel most of Marx's attacks, based on what 6k1 described to her. Alphys also warned her Underground friends to lock the doors and prepare to fight just in case.
Hotland - Cooking Show
"Hey Kris!" Ralsei shouts from below. "Great job getting that ingredient!"
Kris flies down with it, with the others following suit. Mettaton applauds them.
BRAVO! I appreciate your teamwork here, since you're gonna need it for the next challenge! As for this ingredient...
He throws it away and whips out a freshly made cake from the set.
Everyone knows that recipes for this show are baked ahead of time! But let's all have some as your reward for completing this challenge!
Ralsei claps and helps himself to a slice. Once everyone else has had their fill, they all take the elevator to the second floor while Mettaton flies away.
Hotland - 2nd Level
The search party meets with the Rescue Squad and introduce themselves.
"You guys must be hungry, so why don't we go to that hotdog stand over there so we can get to know each other while you eat?" Ralsei offers them.

Once they arrived at the Hotlands, Tokage and Aaron started to sweat because of the heat while Alex smiled, feeling at home.
"Oof... I guess this place isn't called Hotland for nothing..." Aaron said, already disturbed by the heat. Unlike him, Tokage kept his cool and entered Alphy's lab.
They greeted her and listened to her explanations.
"I see. We'll do our best to help. Althought the heat and the lava could be problematic for Aaron and especially for me."
Aaron and Tokage were relieved when Alphys applied cooling dirt on their bodies. Feeling fresh they thanked her before Alex gave her the old phone they took earlier so that she could upgrade it.
They arrived just as Mettaton first trial was about to end and greeted everyone.
"We've heard about that Dragon Ball. We're here to help!"
Tokage stood asides. He was silently looking at Mettaton leaving, trying to guess what challenges the robot had in store for them, while Aaron and Alex were chatting with the group so that they could learn more about them.
As soon as Ralsei approached them and told them about the hotdog stand, Alex licked his lips.
"Why not?" Aaron said, wanting to know about him more.
"Sure, thanks! I'm so hungry I could eat like five cakes!"
Tokage said nothing but joined them as well, althought he was not a big eater.

Susie then readies her tools and started fixing Ribey.

As the Spacepod sits on the ice plain, Magolor is telling the Chosen Four the story of the Subspace Invasion.

After giving Paper her long-overdue friendship lessons, Power does the inspection with her. The forcefield's still up and running, and the android guards are patrolling its borders. The anti-teleport devices and sprinklers are functioning properly, and Paper's paintings of Equestrian wildlife are stored in the drawers, ready to be summoned in case of intruders or unruly students.
"You still have that axe from last Nightmare Night?" asks Power.
Paper picks it up from the wall and shows it to her.
"Of course I do, but I need more than just that to defend myself..."
"Then why don't you try summoning that barrier that I made on the train?"
"I'm thinking of making a shield with the same sturdiness as it yet is easy to carry."
"That's a great idea! Let's make it!"
Hotland - Hotdog Stand
Ralsei follows the group to the stand and sees Sans sleeping at it. He nudges him awake.
"How much for these hotdogs, Sans?"
"30G."
Ralsei shuffles his hands in his pockets and lays the silver coins on the counter.
"I only brought Dark Dollars with me..."
"no worries, i'll convert 'em."
Sans takes the money and gives Ralsei the Hot Dog...?
"yeah. 'dog. apostrophe-dog. it's short for hot-dog."
Ralsei takes a bite out of it, but purses his lips. Is this a water sausage...?
He tries gulping it down and asks Sans, "can I buy another for my friends?"
"sorry kid, but we're all outta hot dogs. here's a hot cat instead."
He gives Ralsei a Hot Dog...? with cat ears on it. The latter tries to stifle his laughter and lets the Rescue Squad split it among themselves.
"who are these guys, by the way?"
Ralsei introduces them to him, and also tells him about the Dragon Ball.
"i know, and i'm rootin' for ya, kid!"
The goat blushes. "Thanks..."
As the search party takes a break, Ralsei approaches the Squad, with Kris and Susie by his side.
"You're a trio, too? We call ourselves the Delta Warriors, and we saved my world from an evil king who wanted to spread darkness!"
"Anemone dear, I know you want to be more independent from me, but... please take care, okay?"

Dog Days
After seeing Kris successfully get the secret ingredient, Susie and Tabby cheer them on.
"You know, I never thought to see Kris actually accomplish something like this. It's about damn time to leave this place."
"There's an elevator over there and our new arrivals would certainly be a big help."
They take the elevator to the 2nd level of the Hotlands.
"This takes me back to when we fought that Spades King, huh."
The elevator suddenly arrives at the 2nd level and Ralsei offers them some hotdogs at the stand over there.
"I would do like something to eat after seeing my assistant vanish in front of my eyes like a magic trick. Hotdogs are delicious."
Ralsei comes back with a couple of hotdogs and gives Tabby one of the hotcats.
"Aw,this is cute. Thanks, Ral."
"After we eat, where do we go next for the Dragonball?"
"Same here."
''Tabby looks at her messages and sees that Billy, not him, his Clone, has sent her a message along with 6k1 and Dave.
"Oh,he sent me something. It's about Pecan's disappearance might be connected to all of the random group tributes in Arena. It may seem like a crackpot theory but this may be something Terminus might be doing. I'll forward it to Zan and Bale."
So, this Terminus punk caused your little friend and many others to die a horrible death in the Arena. I would be glad to thrash his ass for you."
"Dude, he might be crazy powerful so don't underestimate everyone. Arrogance is one of your Fatal Flaws."
Tabby shares the message with everyone else and then forwards to the two nominators she mentioned.
Spying
Akumo sits on top of the roof of the Capitol Hospital looking into the window of Billy's ward.
" I could of get him while he 's weeeaakk and aaall but Sir Termius might of advise against this. We need to get Tabby on our side first. It would be so heartbreaking to get killed by a 16-year-old girl who looked up to you and was a valuable ally. Surely I'll succeed in the end."
He hides out of sight when a person, probably the nurse, enters the ward.
"All of this stalking is tiring. I should write up my plans at my hiding place."
He then leaves and returns back to his place.

When Ralsei buys more Hot Cats for the others, Sans says while winking, "ya really like hot animals, don't ya? don't worry, i ain't judgin'. 'sides, i'd be outta my job without folks like ya."
The goat just looks at him with his derped face. "I don't get it."
Sans just chuckles. Ralsei then checks the map.
"There are still a few puzzles to the west, including one where we have to step on some tiles to change where the steam vents take us. There's even a SAVE Point that Kris can use before we take on the next challenge."
He takes another bite of his Hot Dog...? and continues talking with the Rescue Squad.
Power's Art School
Power and Paper summon the shield, which feels a little heavy to pull out of the canvas due to its complexity, but becomes light as a feather once it comes out of it. It's shaped like Shining Armor's cutie mark, and it shimmers with the same golden spiral pattern as Gusty the Great's barrier.
"Alright, let's go outside and test this out!" says Power.
The two of them do so, and Power goes in front of Paper. She draws up a shock absorber and puts it on her head.
"Are you sure about this?" The clone says as she holds up the shield.
Power doesn't answer and runs towards it. She feels some pain on her forehead when her horn strikes it.
"Ow... At least this helmet kept my horn intact."
"Still, are you sure this can ward off powerful magic? Neither of us can shoot magic blasts to test that out..."
"I'm 100% sure it can, although it would take brute force magic to break it. If my barrier was able to repel the Scipion shadows for most of the train ride, then I'm sure it can resist Marx's attacks, too."
"Alright."
Paper stores the shield when they head back inside.
"By the way, Power, I still haven't received any resumés or portfolios. Are people just not interested in working at our school?"
"That's not entirely true. Some are interested, but they don't have the time for it. That's why Mike and Joe requested that they work part-time, remember?"
She gives Paper a reassuring pat on the back.
"Don't be discouraged, and be patient. You'll get a new teacher, firefighter, or mind reader soon."
Paper smiles and gets a bright idea.
"Power, you think any of 6k1's tributes would be interested?"
"Yeah! I know some who'd like to work here! I'd call her right away for recommendations, but she's busy interviewing Tableturner right now."
"You mean that new teacher at the Detective Agency?"
"Yeah. I hope he makes improvements to both it and the Hero School."
"Agreed."
"Anyway, I should be going now. I'll just ask 6k1 about her tributes when she's done. Good luck!"
They both hug before Power returns to her home.

Pecan finds a tree to sit on to calm down for a bit. She opens up a communication device to talk to Tabby but there's no Wifi or Signal so she puts it away. Hilda and her Tepig finally find Pecan.
"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you. Ever since our sparring,I began to trust you more."
"Oh hey there. I have been trying to contact someone but we can't contact people outside of the Arena so that sucks."
"That's common knowledge,Pecan! Come along, I found an old pal of mine in the Arena while looking for you. I thought that was the last time I saw him ever since the Fall of Team Plasma."

Aaron was a bit disturbed to see that the owner of the Stand was a living skeleton. It reminded him of horrible experiments from the old Mismagius he and his friends faced before they met with Scipion.
Aaron and Alex chuckled when Sans pranked them by giving to them a hot dog with cat ears. Even Tokage smiled for a brief moment at the joke.
"It seems we have a comedian around here." he commented as he shared the food with Aaron and Alex.
"Not only he's good at making jokes, but those hot dogs are delicious!" Alex said, his mouth already full.
Then, Ralsei approached them with Susie and Kris and explained how they defeated Lancer's father.
"Really? That's impressive." Aaron said, amazed by Ralsei's story.
"We didn't beat any evil king, but we do our best to help those in needs. We did a lot of things: solving crimes, defeating evil Pokemons but also helping people finding something they lost, helping farmers... We travelled a lot and met many other Pokemons from various species with various personalities. In the end we only want to help people and make the world better." he explained. He thought it was best not to talk in details about evil foes they faced like... well, Scipion
Aaron and Alex laughed again when Sans did another joke while Tokage, more serious than his two comrades, was already looking at the map and thinking about the puzzles.
Between Hotland and Waterfall, a purple bubble appeared before popping up, revealing Morgan, holding a purple gem and Onox. The Morgrem used it's magic to make the gem disappear before smirking like a psychopath, already thinking about his plan while Onox was scratching his head, trying to remember what Morgan told him before. After all, he wasn't very smart to begin with.

"Really?" asks Ralsei after Aaron shares him their story. "How nice! We're not a superhero team like you... We all did what we had to do because of a prophecy. Anyway, looks like the others are ready, so let's go!"
He finishes his Hot Dog...? and heals up the tired puzzle solvers. Ralsei then says goodbye to Sans before following the team to the rest of the floor. He walks along the conveyor belt and waits for one of them to push the buttons to the rhythm to deactivate the forcefield, then comes across the aforementioned Vent Puzzle.
"Frisk said that they struggled with solving this because Alphys took a break, but I'm sure we can do this without any help!"
Alphys's Lab
While watching the team solve the puzzles, Alphys observes on another surveillance window two unfamiliar monsters.
The smaller one kinda sorta looks like a two-eyed Loox with emo hair...
She keeps the forcefield up in case they attack like Bill Cipher.

Hotland - 2nd Level
The Rescue Squad also waved goodbye to Sans before following the group towards the Conveyor Belt. There, Aaron pushed the 3 buttons, disabling the forcefield.
"That would be much easier if I evolved into a Charizard. I could just fly past all of those puzzles." commented Alex.
Once they reached the Vent Puzzle, Tokage was the first one to jump. The smart Grovyle took his time and noticed that as soon as he stepped on one tile, the directional arrows were changing. It didn't took long enough for him to guess the correct path by moving back to a previous panel before reaching the other side of the floor.
"Not a bad puzzle, I guess." he said, waiting for the other to cross. Alex certainly enjoyed jumping with the help of the wind.
"Hey Aaron! Try to not fall, okay?" Alex said jokingly.
"I'll try..." Aaron replied, trying to do his best to not accidentally fall and reproduce Tokage's movements.
Hotland - 1st Level
Out of Curiosity, Onox tried to approach the large building but was easily repelled by it.
"What the hell are you doing..." sighed Morgan, exasperated as his Partner was punching the force field.
"But the boss might be inside! I want to see him again!" he replied.
"You moron, he isn't in this crappy land!" Morgan hissed, causing the Toxtricity to sadly lower his head.
"Besides, I want to have fun first, then we'll look for that bastard. Just ignore that building and let's head to the north."
The duo headed north and approached the two guards guarding the elevator.
"Hey! Piles of trashes!" the vicious Morgrem called out to them. "I want you to tell me where that elevator goes to and then to move your fat ass out of my way!"

Ralsei observes Tokage jump from vent to vent and copies him, making sure not to fall off. He waits for the others to follow, then lets everyone catch their breath at the SAVE Point.
"Kayla reminded us that we shouldn't rely too much on our powers to solve these puzzles. You'll never know if yours will get stripped and you'll have to use your smarts instead!"
Hotland - 1st Level
"The elevator will take you to the 2nd floor, but you have to, like, fight us first, bro!" says RG01.
"...Fight," says 02.
They brandish their swords and prepare for battle.

"So CATS didn't get a podium finish this time around either..." Zanreo says upon seeing him die. She had been a bit concerned about him starting out trying to cry, fearing it would be a repeat of Season 44, but luckily he went back to having more amusing moments later, like eating a bunch of free food samples, finding out that the internet loves him and getting an unexpected crack pairing with hire a samurai. Tako Luka also had some fun moments, like having Doot Skeleton tell she had a crush on him, making her embarassed, and falling into a dunk tank. At least there's always a next time...

Zanreo notices some messages sent to her, first one regarding Terminus. "Wait, Pecan suddenly disappeared... and you're saying Terminus might be behind that? Well, guess we can't count that out!" Then, a message about Marx. "Welp, better watch out, and better stop him before he turns everyone into trophies..." She replies to both messages.

"So basically no moves and no aura? Sounds fine by me, unless if we're in danger."

"Seriously? You know that I'm far from being the smartest in the world." Alex complained.
"But you're also far from being stupid, Alex. I'm sure that with Aaron you should be able to solve such puzzles without my help."
The Rescue Squad then waited for everyone else to catch their breaths.

"A fight?" Morgan asked to himself loudly. The Morgrem then showed a suprisingly kind smile.
"My bad! It seems this isn't the place I was looking for! And I can't fight with armored, well trained soldiers! I'm sorry to disturb you guys, I think I'll just take my leave then." he said, visibly sorry as he bowed his head, his messy hairs hiding his face while Onox raised an eyebrow, confused by his reaction.
Distortion World
"Checkmate." Giegue said proudly.
Mewtwo crossed his arms and turned his head.
"Tch! I was so close to win that."
"You certainly don't like losing, are you?" the alien chuckled. Mewtwo didn't answered.
"You may have lost this match, but I must say, I never faced such a strong opponent like you before. I'll admit, you actually made me sweat. And that was only your first game!"
"That's what I wanted to hear." Mewtwo said, smiling again. "Who knows, maybe the next game will be different."
"You want to try again? Very well."

Ralsei jumps a bit upon seeing Pecan disappear into the light, his hat popping off his head.
"But but... I didn't even get to wish her good luck..."
Kris then volunteers to retrieve the ingredient. Ralsei hugs them before they activate their phone jetpack, which they had Alphys upgrade before their departure. As they fly upwards, Mettaton pelts them with the eggs and flour, with the timer ticking down and the music changing to a faster pace.
Hurry up! 30 seconds left! And that determined look on your face... reminds me of a certain child who also took this challenge...
The Database Library, Entrance Hall
6k1 checks her phone and sees Pony!Mine Turtle exploding when Shrekiro fires his artillery piece while shouting "Tiro Finale!" She also witnesses the same carpet that was thrown out of the Library blast three tributes during the Feast, sliding away from the explosion without coming back.
Suddenly, she feels compelled to root for Doge, who destroyed Orwellian Earth with the Infinity Gauntlet but deeply regretted it when she also killed her owner with it. 6k1 sees the Angry German Kid get caught up with the conspiracy, and after their epic fight ends with the dog killing him to further her ideals, 6k1 shakes her head and looks back at the Squad.
"Don't even ask how that carpet even made it to the Hall of Fame. The fact that an ancient tome somehow won by doing absolutely nothing in OT S23 just proves that anything is possible here..."
She then excuses herself to email Psyche congrats for her Podium Finisher and Mass Murderer, and the Science Center for the usual process. As much as she likes seeing tributes being ponified, she still has to have Mine Turtle deponified as per the rules. 6k1 makes an Aside Glance at the Squad when she nominates Meloetta, and she requests the Control Room to officially register Twang under both his original number (021) and name and his Japanese ones, 145 (Flute).
6k1 then watches her tributes go to their podiums, as usual, but cups her mouth when Pecan suddenly appears on hers.
Isn't that Tabby's assistant, and doesn't she have a Dragon Ball to find? What's she even doing here...?
She can only assume that Pecan was forced there like BTS and ARMY in that one season, and now the DM's starting to sweat. What if her assistants are sent there as well? At least GC gave her a heads up when he thought of nominating Ally again for Season 64 by advising her to give her combat training, but that never came to pass...
