Yumeko smiles and nods at the two as he jumps into the mirror...

Haruna sees the commotion going on from a distance. After Yumeko steps into the mirror, She walks towards the others.

"Welp, after that nosy hall monitor sneaked up on me and getting to here, this day has gone crazy. I don't mind an adventure. May I join you? I'm a representative of the Student Council."

She holds up her ID like a police badge. She then looks at the three.

"I know you're wondering how the hell that I got here. I was wondering the same thing too when I was inspecting a suspicious room a little too close."

"A suspicious room?" asks Aiyo. "Today just keeps getting better and better... tell me more."

She turns to the mirror. "Fudge it. Tell Hiroji about it, he's not going anywhere anytime soon... I think." She approaches the mirror. "So, do I just step in like... this?"

Hiroji's Soul Room

The room looks like the interior of a martial arts dojo. Bamboo swords lined one wall, and the other was taken over by an intricate tapestry of a battlefield. In the middle of the room was a charred statue of a dragon, with lines of ash spreading across the floor.

Yumeko can be seen inspecting the charred Dragon statue, lost in thought. He hasn't noticed Haruna step in yet.

Aiyo steps in and looks around the room. "So, is this, like... Hiroji's mind? Crikey, this is weird. What do you think's with the statue?"

Yumeko is startled by Aiyo's sudden appearance, but tries to play it cool afterwards. "...I don't know. Only Hiroji's subconscious does..." He stays silent for a few seconds.

"I think the ash represents an inner struggle of sorts. Clearly something bad has happened if Hiroji's subconscious wants or think that thing has been burned... The statute looks like someone tried to burn it along with the rest of whatever else got destroyed, but failed." He looks over to Aiyo. "What about you, Aiyo? Does this place remind you of anything?"

"I think... this reminds me of the old training dojo we used to practice in when we were little. I was never any good, but Hiroji... I think that may have been the only thing he felt good at." She sighs. "I guess it means a lot to him."

(Izuru gets up and starts looking around the tree's soul-room)

"Fascinating...! It's a complete replication of the outside world but why is there a koala...Could there possibly be similar rooms for the human mortals?"—he asks the insects.

"This tree's soul-room is representive of that tree's collective life-experiences that are shared by trees all over the world, so it's indicative of most tree's soul-room globally," says the Koala, "Since trees are built differently than humans, this is a trait not shared by humans. So some trees in the world had life-experiences with koalas, which is why I'm here."

"Well, in short, this soul-room is private," says the insects, "So, why are you two buzzing here today?"

"I was about to ask you bugs the same thing! Where am I?" says a new voice. A short black cat walks in on Izuru, Kosugi, and the insects.

"KITTY!!! (excited catface kawaii emoticon)!" Kosugi exclaims, picking up the cat and hugging it tight. "I LOVE this place!! (heart eyes kawaii emoticon)"

The insects flee away from the cat, "Nyaaah! What in the world is that?!" they scream as they flee away from the black cat, which from their POV was a giant cat.

"A black cat—!! A sure sign some horrible omen is about to occur..." (Izuru shudders.)

"Nah," Kosugi assures, scritching the kitty's head. "I have it on good authority that black cats are a good omen, actually, on account of they're so cute! (:3)"

Asher's ethereally loud cry of "Genki-ness?!" resounds through the Tree's soul-room, echoing omniously.

"Heyheyheyhey, put me down!" says the cat, trying to struggle out of Kosugi's hug. But then he stops and smiles. "On second thought, I don't mind."

"I ain't from here, though. I'm from the school, with you! I just got assigned to your class, but I saw you two wandering around, and I wanted to see where you were going."

"Assigned to our cla..." Izuru stops mid-sentence.

"If a speaking feline and troublesome skeleton are a part of these pathetic mortal university matters, I would've ceased being surprised long ago."

"Oh, I see! You're a student here? (surprised kawaii emoticon) Well, it's nice to meet you! I'm Kosugi Hanate Wakuso Nakamura Watanabe Honda Civic!"

"You may call me the great Exorcist Prince."

The Narrator's omnipresent voice suddenly echoes through the room: "That's Sarayashiki Izuru. You'll get along with him just fine if you ignore his...delusions."

(cue Izuru angrily waving his fist at the sky)

"Nice to meet you too. You can call me Kazuko, or anything really. Just don't tell anyone I like hugs or you're getting the claws! Or, well, maybe not you," he says to Kosugi. "But, uh..."

He looks at the camera. "Geez, only a minute of screentime and already I have conflicted feelings!"

He looks back at Kosugi and Izuru. "You guys are alright."

"We're gonna make a great trio, I just know it!"

"I will protect you with every fiber of my being," Kazuko says to Kosugi.

"Hey, where'd the insects go?"

"Hmm.. Dunno. (kawaii emoticon with a question mark for a mouth)" Kosugi sets Kazuko back down on the ground, before shouting at the top of his lungs: "OH INSEEEEECTS. WHERE AAAAARE YOOOOOOUUUUUU"

"The insects are naturally scared of the cat, it's their own instincts, they flee." the talking squirrel speaks up gruffly while holding a rake.

"Anyway, it's time to get out of the soul-room before a Nightmare comes in and infests the tree." said another squirrel, "If it does so, we'll all be in trouble and the tree will become a Nightmare tree..."
