Challenge - A Scripted Battle

The challengers are leads to a large studio room with a two tables stacked with papers and writing utensils on them in the center of the room. The detective greets them.

You must be feeling inspired after going those all the challenges you experienced so far, huh? Well you're in luck! For today's challenge, the members of you teams must pitch their own suggestion and ideas for what to put in a movie. Not a full movie though, as one of you will be selected to pick and choose from each of your ideas and suggestions in order to make the script for a movie. Whoever has the best script wins the challenge. Now it would be a boring challenge for the viewers to just watch you sit around and come up with ideas, so during all that you'll have to fight off disgruntled folk whose movie ideas and scripts have been rejected or whose films have bombed at the box office or cancelled. Now then, pick which of you will be in charge oft he script and the challenge shall begin!

The◊ challenge◊ begins:

• The Screaming Gaffers pick Nagisa to be in charge of the script.
• The Killer Grips pick Valecor to be in charge of the script.
• Not long after the team members start writing down their ideas, the doors surrounding the studio room open and dozens of angry people come pouring in. The challengers then are forced to alternate between writing down ideas and defending the papers as they fight off their disgruntled attackers.
• When the dust settles, a pile of unconscious bodies lined the floor as Nagisa and Valecor handed the completed scripts over to the detective.

...hmmm... very interesting. Tough choice, but I'd have to say the winners of this challenge are the Killer Grips! What's that audience? You want me to reveal what the scripts are about? Sorry, that's classified... as we'll be used said scripts for a future challenge!

The tributes are lead through an open portal, where they literally walk into Mordor. There, armed guards take them to a castle and arrive at a banquet table where Valecor is seated. Next to him is both Melkor and Sauron.

   Welcome everyone. Come, take a seat, there's plenty of food to go around. Melkor here thought he was the source of all evil. I proved him otherwise by having him experience all the eons of memories I have over him via my telepathy. Well, not really all the memories as some of that I have to keep private to a new recruit of course, but you get the idea. He's still trying to get accustomed to digesting all that as it's a lot for anybody to take in. I've brought him and Sauron out of their home universe along with their armies where that pesky Eru can't touch them. As for how I recreated their place here, I've brought some help.   

Galeem and Dharkon slither into view.

   I managed to have those two set aside their differences by getting to understand they can share the multiverse, given how infinite it is. Not quite friends yet, but they're at least aren't at each other's throats anymore. It was thanks to them that Melkor and Sauron slipped out of Eru's grasp, and it was also thanks to them that this world you're in was made.   

   Anyways, for today's challenge it will be split into two parts. For each part you'll have to select two members of your team to compete. For the first part you'll fight each other in gladiatorial combat in an arena we built. If you don't want to fight the other team that's fine, we'll just send minions after you for you to fight regardless. Whoever beats the other team or defeats the most minions before being defeated wins. The second part is navigating your way through an elaborate stone maze we built that's full of traps and hidden passages, all the while being chased by minions. Whoever arrives at the exit or outlasts the other team wins. If the teams are tied after that, then you all must fight each other in the arena. Now if you got all that, then eat up. You'll need your strength for the challenge.

Welcome, so glad you can join us! For today's challenge, love is in the air! I have a bunch of people lined up at the front doors of the restaurant, those are your blind dates. They are all either sleazy, boring, incompetent, or all three, really just the bottom of the barrel for potential partners. The goal is to endure as many awkward dates as you can, and you can quit at any time. Whichever team has the most members left wins the challenge.

MOTHERFUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!

Thinking Cup's managed to learn a thing or two from Dino on conflict avoidance skills, if him resolving things with Sasquatch is any indication. Doesn't seem to be the case with Nagisa, though. Gotta watch out with the anime girls.

Claptrap and Valecor being on good terms is. Oddly in line with last season's Vince-Tom Riddle interactions. Hopefully it won't come to bite Clappy in the ass the way it did for Vince.

Challenge - Experimenting With Fire

Even the oldest upload of this song has the same ad! Naturally as you can expect the comments section had a field day. Mentioning that as we need some humor in these trying times.)

The challengers are taken by spaceship to a tropical planet, entering a volcano lair. Inside, they meet Dr. Hämsterviel as Valecor introduces him.

   I told Dr. Hämsterviel here I'd help him acquire all the experiments...well at least the ones useful to him as some aren't. The ones that aren't shall die. To prove I wasn't joking, I personally went and got the pods of Experiments 119 and 611. The former has the power to turn folks and objects inside out and the latter just merely ends the universe when the right password is spoken. Was actually focusing on 611 but decided to get both as one pod can be confused with the other if you look at it wrong. Thus began the start of what is hopefully a beautiful partnership. Though we don't plan on actually using 611 unless we have to, that'll be a waste of a perfectly good universe and its resources! And of course, I'm helping him get revenge on his enemies, we're still brainstorming the various ways with the Experiments we're gathering.   

   Unfortunately, as the creator of the Experiments, an idiot by the name of Jumba, forgot 611's password, we're gonna have to do things the hard way by building a brain-scanning device to find it, which won't be easy to make. As it's going to take some time to do that, we built this volcano lair as some extra security in case the galactic feds were to show up. Of course that's not the only security measure, but as if I'll reveal the secrets on a public show! Which brings me to today's challenge.   

A red version of Stitch shows up on a walkway.

   Meet Leroy. This evil guy was created when one of the Experiments, Stitch aka 626, wanted nothing do to with Dr. Hämsterviel. So we made a version that was loyal. In fact, we made a few copies for good measure as minions. Among Jumba's creations, 626 is perhaps one of the most useful, having a variety of abilities that makes him quite the contender. So for today's challenge, you'll be up against Leroy. Just one though, as we want to put him to the test to train him.   

   This challenge has three parts, and for each part you must decide among yourselves which one of you has to take the challenge. For the first part of the challenge, you'll be facing off against Leroy in a volleyball game. Sounds simple enough, but the catch it that it's on a suspended platform that's precariously balanced on a rocky pillar in which too much weight on any one side will sent you plummeting to the magma below. We'll score you based on how well you do, that way one of you will win if you both lose against Leroy. For the second part of the challenge, it's a surprise, but you'll know what it is when you see it. If a winner of the challenge isn't determined by then, then you'll be facing off against the Leroy clones in battle. As with the first part, you'll be scored based on how well you do.   

The◊ challenge◊ begins:

• The Screaming Gaffers pick Cupcake for the first part.
• The Killer Grips pick Adora for the first part.
• Both end up falling into the lava thanks to being outclassed by Leroy, but as Adora lasted the longest the Killer Grips win that round.
• The challengers are then lead to the main part of the volcano, where an obstacle course of platforms and hazards extends up to the sky far above.
• The Screaming Gaffers pick Nagisa for the second part.
• The Killer Grips pick Claptrap for the second part.
• Leroy returns and enters a shooting machine that's connected to a series of rails that go all around the obstacle course. It was then the and earthquake rumbles through the volcano and the magma below begins to rapidly rise up, causing the challengers to realize the challenge is to escape the eruption. The challengers that aren't participating are escorted to safety while Leroy shoots at the participating challengers with sadistic glee as they make their way up.
• In the end, Claptrap reached the top of the volcano first, thus the Killer Grips win that round.

...and it looks like we have a winner! Let's hear it for the Killer Grips! And yes, I'll fix those who feel victim to the magma.

The challengers are lead by the detective to a studio room, which has the set of a wild west town set up. In the center of the fake town is two boards standing upright if a variety of different square tiles with the images of the challengers on them.

For today's challenge, you know those match three sliding games in video games? Well this is a physical version of that. Each of the tiles you see before you all have circuitry and programming built into them to so that if you shoot one of the tiles with a bullet, the matching tiles next to it fall off along with it if it's three or more matching tiles next to each other. Yes, we made sure that tiles are strong enough to handles a few bullets if you miss your shot. Now as your teams will be competing with each other, the two tile boards before you have tiles with the images of the individual members of the opposing team. Both of the boards have a counter showing the number of tiles left for an individual for both teams. If all the tiles of an individual are knocked out by the opposing team, that individual is eliminated for that round. Whoever wins the most rounds out of nine gets to go to the restaurant or resort of their choice supplied by us. Now, ready your guns, get into position, and when the clock strikes high noon, go!

The teams get into position. A tumbleweed rolls by as the challengers anxiously wait. When the clock strikes noon they immediately begin shooting.

The◊ challenge◊ begins:

• Adora, Nagisa, and Perfuma are eliminated by Team 2, resulting in Team 2 winning the first round. Team 2 now has 1 point.
• Adora, Claptrap, Flick, and Nagisa are eliminated by Team 2, resulting in Team 2 winning the second round. Team 2 now has 2 points.
• Flutterdash, Gaige, Sasquatch, Tyrone, and Valecor are eliminated by Team 1, resulting in Team 1 winning the third round. Team 1 now has 1 point.
• Flick and Nagisa are eliminated by Team 2, resulting in Team 2 winning the fourth round. Team 2 now has 3 points.
• Valecor is eliminated by Team 1, resulting in Team 1 winning the fifth round. Team 1 now has 2 points.
• Adora, Claptrap, Flick, Nagisa, and Perfuma are eliminated by Team 2, resulting in Team 2 winning the sixth round. Team 2 now has 4 points.
• Adora and Claptrap are eliminated by Team 2, resulting in Team 2 winning the seventh round. Team 2 now has 5 points.

• Sasquatch receives hate mail from a troll and he trashes the place in a rage.

Challenge Area

The detective and Valecor go to the challenge area, where the boards have been changed to have the tiles of all the eliminated challengers, each having half of the challengers.

I heard from the network that the act of having challengers return got good ratings, so let's make this a thing. You take one board and I'll take the other, let's determine who returns with this game of ours! Of course if one of the boards ends up with a tie, just redo the game until there isn't one.

Challenge - In Good Spirits

The challengers are lead to the infamous Villain Pub. However the pub was under lockdown due to the virus. Valecor knocks on the door and hollers.

   Palpatine, it's me, Valecor. I've some company as part of the game show and I've made certain to have them be tested for the virus daily. They're clean. Plus even if it wasn't part of the challenge I figured you'd need the company anyways.   

After some hesitation, Palpatine lets them inside. After they all take a seat, Valecor pays for the drinks and food for them.

   Now before I talk about today's challenge, I'd like to introduce a guest I invited. He should be arriving shortly and I've made sure he was screened for the virus as well.   

It wasn't long before the guest arrives through the front door. It's Oogie Boogie.

   This challenge is split into two parts, but I'll explain the second part once we get to the location for it. For the first part, I've collaborated with Oogie Boogie here to make a version of his song based on the games. For this part all you have to do is sing along to it to the best of your ability. How well you do determines if you get a one-time use protection or not for the second part of the challenge, and if you perform the best well then you'll receive an extra special reward. The catch is that for anyone who's not underage, you'll be performing drunk. Don't worry, you'll probably be hammered enough that you'll still be drunk when you have to do the second part, geh heh heh heh heh!   

Palpatine laughs evilly upon hearing the challenge, instinctively putting on noise-cancelling headphones and protecting all the glass in the building with the Force in case the singing is bad enough to break them. As soon as the challengers get hammered, Valecor turns on the jukebox and the singing begins.

   Even if beat it, you could never win! The lair is ten stories high and full of minions. Which means you'll be done in!

   Now it's time for you to see what it really means to scare. Cause I'm a gamblin' Boogie Man. Although I don't play fair. It's much more fun, I must confess, when lives are on the line. Not mine of course, but yours our challengers, now that'd be just fine!

As Sasquatch, Flick, and Gaige were the top three singers, they all receive protection for the second part of the challenge. Since Sasquatch was the best singer, he receives a Golden Idol.

After leaving the Villain Pub they get back in the limo and are driven to the next destination, all the while drunkenly singing road trip songs. They eventually arrive at their destination, which is a creepy haunted mansion that's ten stories tall. Claptrap shudders knowing of all the stairs inside. Suddenly King Boo appears in front of them all without warning and scares the hell out of them, causing both him and Valecor to cackle.

   For the second part of the challenge, you must enter this haunted mansion. King Boo finally captured his nemesis Luigi in a painting, and your task is to find the painting in this maze of a mansion. That protection you received from the first part is actually for the many traps that lie inside the mansion, so please try to survive! Whoever reaches the painting first wins invincibility!

• Mario Party 8 - Boo's Haunted Hideaway

The second part of the◊ challenge◊ begins:

• Nagisa, feeling hungry, wanders into the mansion's kitchen. She opens the fridge hoping to see both food and the painting but is yanked inside by the mutant leftovers that's been there for who knows how long.
• Tyrone thought he heard some munching sounds coming from the kitchen, but chalks it up to his imagination and moves on.
• Sasquatch is going down a hallway when the floor suddenly comes alive and attempts to either impale him or eat him, but he just punches and kicks the floor into submission and continues on his path.
• Sasquatch soon finds him and Flutterdash trapped in spiked floor maze while a ceiling full of spikes descends. He manages to escape, but Flutterdash wasn't so lucky.
• Flick finds himself being used as a ping-pong ball by ghosts, giving them the slip when they're not looking.
• Flick and Catra find themselves going across a huge pit filled with acid with only a small ledge to travel across. Catra ends up falling into the acid below.
• Perfuma enters a room filled with plants, searching for the painting. Unfortunately, one of those plants was Audrey II, who proceeds to sing his song before eating her.
• Nick explores the cold basement, shivering as he looks for the painting. Not finding it, he leaves.
• Claptrap searched everywhere on the first floor but can't find the painting. Knowing that it must be on one of the above floors, he gives up knowing that he can't go up stairs.
• Gaige carefully navigates a room filled with exposed wires, trying not to make contact.
• Meanwhile Valecor is in the room below and uses his powers to trip her, electrocuting her.
• Some Boos pop out of their hiding places to attack, but upon realizing it's Valecor and not one of the others they flee in terror.
• Adora enters the armory and is attacked by haunted suits of armor, managing to best her in combat and slay her.
• Tyrone fools the ghosts by hiding among some taxidermy animals and pretending to be one of them.
• Sasquatch receives a pie in the face courtesy of a clown ghost, but Sasquatch scares it off with a single roar.
• The Grim Reaper shows up and beheads Flick.
• Nick enters a room filled with books and is suddenly wrapped in the coils of Kaa, who tries to hypnotize him. Nick ties him in a knot and escapes.
• Deciding he's seen enough, Valecor just secretly leaves the mansion.
• Tyrone finds an abandoned mechanical bull and takes it for a ride for the fun of it.
• Looking for the painting, Sasquatch opens up a piano to see if it's hiding there. However the piano is actually alive and eats him through its top.
• Nick and Tyrone find the room with the painting. As they approach, Nick is grabbed by a giant spider. Tyrone ignores that and goes straight to the painting.

Challenge - The Magic Shuffle

The challengers are lead to a stage. There upon the stage is a stage magician and a bunch of top hats.

Welcome to the show my challengers! For today's challenge, this stage magician I brought in shall uses his skill to shuffle some top hats. You must take turns an pick a hat to see if there's something good underneath or not. We'll start with just three hats, but every time something good is found another hat is added. We'll keep going until all prizes have been found.

• Sasquatch watches as a small box is put under one of the hats. He watches carefully as the hats get shuffled around, then picks one of the hats when they come to a rest. He picked correctly and earns a note saying that he won a Total Drama Action t-shirt that's will be in his size.

As I have nothing but free time now I intend on hosting the next season, which is naturally going to be based on Total Drama World Tour, which was the third season of Total Drama. So I'm thinking of incorporating the home countries of the tropers involved for that season for some of the challenges.

Course as this is a fictional setting you can expect chaos to ensue at those locations.

Challenge - The End Has Come

The challengers are lead into a spaceship and arrive on an alien planet with a single moon. Said planet has a purple sky and is similar to Earth in both life and civilization. Upon landing the ship in a field, the challengers exit it. Valecor then explains the challenge.

   You may be wondering why I've brought you to this planet. Well as Total Drama Action is about film it was only a matter of time before we did a disaster movie challenge. So naturally to make things entertaining as possible the challenge would be something Roland Emmerich would be proud of. As such, I've marked this planet and its goody-two-shoes inhabitants for doomsday. The challenge is simple, if you manage to survive the onslaught you win invincibility. And no, I won't tell you what exactly is the upcoming danger, those starring in a disaster movie never begin for the most part knowing what they're up against. I'll come back to pick you up once the disaster is over.   

And with that Valecor goes back on the spaceship and it flies off.

• The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask - Final Hours (RetroSpecter)

The◊ challenge◊ begins:

• The challengers spend the first few hours waiting for the inevitable to show up, not sure what to expect.
• Then the ground begins to shake, and it increases in both intensity and frequency with every passing hour.
• Then the earthquakes get bad enough that the tectonic plates start to shift drastically up and down, displacing huge amounts of water that creates massive tsunamis and flooding to contend with.
• Then volcanoes all over the planet began to erupt, including dormant supervolcanoes.
• It wasn't long after that it became apparent as to what was causing that: the moon was slowly on a collusion course with the planet, which unknown to the challengers and the natives was caused by Valecor having explosives on the opposite side of the moon be detonated.
• All of the challengers and the natives either went in bunkers to avoid the impact or went on submersible vehicles to avoid the turbulent flooding.
• Finally the moon hit, causing a massive shockwave and ripple effect to the felt all over the planet.
• In the end only two challengers survived thanks to their teamwork. Valecor arrived back on the spaceship and scoured the planet for survivors. He eventually found Catra and Perfuma hiding out in one of the bunkers.

Welcome challengers to Comedy Night! For today's challenge, it's all about how funny you are, with the captive audience here as your judges. For the first part of the challenge, you must build your own physical humor contraption and must test it out on one of the other challengers. If it doesn't break and if the audience like the performance, the creator of that contraption can move on to the second part of the challenge.

For the second part of the challenge, you must tell your best jokes you can think of. The one with the best performance in the second part wins invincibility, and the one with the worst is outright eliminated from Total Drama Action.

Challenge - The Dark Lord Returns

The challengers are lead through an inter-dimensional portal and arrive at an ominous castle surrounded by a dark forest. It's sundown at that time, bathing the area in in a soft orange/blue light. The challengers enter the throne room of the castle, where Valecor greets them.

   For those of you that's been following Total Drama, you probably remember Tom from the last season I hosted. Well I've kept in touch with him, and he has now completed his own journey. Sure, it's been a few years for him, but not much time has passed on our side. So yeah, time skip between dimensions. Anyways he's the star of today's challenge, but he doesn't go by Tom anymore... but Lord Voldemort.   

Valecor gestures at the throne, which Voldemort himself is naturally seated on it. Along the edges of the immense room are some of his Death Eaters.

   I already told him about today's challenge prior to you all arriving here. It's simple, all you have to do is try your best to survive as Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters hunt you all down. I did tell him to spare the last one standing as someone has to remain in order to win invincibility. Whoever is determined to do the worst job of surviving at the Awards Ceremony is eliminated. As an act of mercy, we'll give you an hour to either hide or prepare for battle, got to make things challenging for our side as well, otherwise it wouldn't be quite as fun watching you fall!   

And with that the challengers scramble all over the castle and the surrounding woods, preparing themselves. An hour passes, and it's now nighttime. Valecor nods at Voldemort and he sends his Death Eaters after the challengers before joining them himself shortly afterwards as he doesn't want them to get all the credit for taking down the challengers.

• Darkest Dungeon - The Final Combat

The◊ challenge◊ begins:

• Nagisa is the first to be found by the Death Eaters, having been hiding in a storage closet. They kill her by casting a spell that strinks her skull and thus crushing her brain.
• Flick is the second to be found by the Death Eaters. He has hidden himself at the bottom of a lake, having made a long tube to breathe out of. They kill him by zapping the lake with as much electricity as they could.
• Perfuma is the third to be found by the Death Eaters. She has hidden herself among some clothes at the castle, hoping her own would blend in. They slowly kill her by summonign metal rods that impale the clothes pile one by one.
• Sasquatch is the fourth to be found by the Death Eaters. He actually didn't bother hiding and instead set up and hid several traps. After a good portion of the pursuing Death eaters fall victim to them, Voldemort steps in and uses the Killing Curse on him.
• Gaige is the fifth to be found by the Death Eaters. She also sets up traps like Sasquatch and ends up getting rid of just as many, leaving only one Death Eater left. Voldemort naturally isn't happy and uses the Killing Curse on her.
• Flutterdash is the sixth to be found, this time by the last Death Eater. The two of them found an abandoned ranch that still has a few horses left and thus they decide to make a convincing horse costume for the two of them to blend in. When the Death Eater arrives, they trample the guy underfoot to kill him knowing he's a threat. Voldemort shows up after learning of that and kills them with the Killing Curse. He only found out it was them after he killed them, he just killed the "horse" for killing his last minion and that it was the ugliest horse he's seen.
• Catra is the seventh to be found, this time by Voldemort himself. Having hid herself by finding a hollow in a tree that's big enough for her, she can't get out of it to save herself from him due to the small opening. Instead of using the Killing Curse on her, knowing that she's stuck in a tree he opts for simply having her burn to death instead.
• Tyrone was the last to be found, having been hiding in the throne room after Voldemort and the Death Eaters left. Voldemort notes that it was clever and true to his word with Valecor spares him for being the last challenger remaining.

Challenger Events - Part 2

Let's see how the◊ challengers◊ are doing...

• Nagisa finds Tyrone laughing evilly as he dissects animals alive in some sort of twisted blood ritual. She confronts him and they get into an argument over it.
• Perfuma is traumatized from the challenge.
• Flick and Sasquatch continue bonding over nature.
• Gaige leaves the alliance of her and Catra and Flick, feeling dissatisfied with those two.
• An alliance between Catra and Nagisa forms.

Awards Ceremony

It's◊ time◊ for one of the challengers to be eliminated.

And the one that did the worst job of surviving is...

Catra. Due to the nature of your hiding place, there was no room for a quick getaway for when you were found. So it looks like you're out of your nine lives for real, so off to the Walk of Shame you go!

C'mon, Catra, you were the second to last one to be found. How does that qualify as doing the worst job at surviving?

On the sim itself, the order in which they're found does not determine at all which one is the worst one. So it's really what they actually do that matters.

I feel like sharing this because why not, but for those curious about my thought process about the theme of each challenge given that I'm making up my own challenges for the whole season, outside of a few challenges I don't have a set plan for what the theme will be and thus use whatever is the first thing that comes to mind. The ones I did have a plan for from the beginning include the FNAF challenge, Voldemort, and a few of the upcoming final challenges including the very last one. In fact, the last challenge will be the only one that doesn't follow the template the sim used as I'm dropping that in favor of simply making a challenge worthy of a finale.

I also must admit I can't involve all the films I like (or works with a film) simply because there's more to cover than one season. So yeah, some of that will have to be saved for a future season, if not by me than by someone else. Course there's nothing to stop someone from doing a different challenge that covers one of the works already featured.

Also, I'm intentionally not doing a zombie challenge even though it suits Total Drama Action being a movie genre and all as it would be in poor taste given the real life pandemic.
