Seems the thread was quietly opened.
For one thing, both pages mentioned don't have any crosswicks. The examples on Plot Preassumption also seem a bit bare-bones.
I'm undecided on their tropeworthiness for now, but if it's decided they're tropeworthy then they could use some crosswicking at the very least.

Cut it - not tropeworthy.
I think it is a trope, but it should still probably be cut because it's starved for both examples and wicks, and the description isn't exactly clear on what it is.
Plot Preassumption is something I consider to be notable, but could serve to be expanded upon through the Trope Launch Pad.
Plot Pivot Point, however, seems to have too much overlap with Anthropic Principle and For Want Of A Nail for me to want it to keep existing.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! Both of these just sound like variations of Worldbuilding and Anthropic Principle.
Yeah, I've read the page a few times, and I'm still not 100% sure on what the trope is.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness,Yeah, that was another thing I was wondering, is if these concepts were already covered by other tropes.
Plot Pivot Point definitely seems too close to Anthropic Principle to be worth keeping. Plot Preassumption seems more distinct from Worldbuilding since the former (according to the page) is done with the intention to serve or build up the plot, while the latter isn't necessarily done for the same reason. That said, I agree with Brainulator that it could at least use a trip to the Launch Pad.
I also think the description is unclear. It would have helped to at least reference more than two other related or potentially related tropes.
Since it's lacking both wicks and on-page examples in addition to other issues, sending this back to TLP would probably be the best solution if it isn't cut entirely.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Made a crowner since there hasn't been any activity in a while.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Are the options mutually exclusive?
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Yes. Cut means "get rid of this entirely" while send back to TLP means "temporarily remove this from the wiki and try to salvage it on TLP".

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. In that case, I'm fine with either option.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! As far as I can tell, Plot Pivot Point (X must be true for the story to have happened in its world) and Plot Preassumption (X must be true for the story's world to exist) are only different to For Want Of A Nail in that they are Omnipresent Tropes like Establishing Shot and Inciting Incident.
What am I missing?
Hooked.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. It's been only a week, but the consensus is very heavily in favor of cutting, at 14 yeas and 1 nay. Is it safe to call?

Crown Description:
Plot Preassumption has an unclear description and only three wicks, none of which are on works pages. What should be done with the page?
I am surprised at how bad a state the page is. According to the page history, only a single example has been added to the original six it had when it was created in June of 2012. Only three pages link to this page, one of which (Plot Pivot Point) was created by the same person (juliohm) and is in almost the exact same terrible state. Seeing as the creator stopped editing almost immediately after creating this page, is there any point to keeping it around?
