Hello, hello, and welcome to Reboot Season 233, otherwise known as the 4th Reboot Anniversary! Yup, that's right, exactly four years ago today (plus a day if you're in certain timezones; sorry this started a tad late), this specific iteration of TVT's Hunger Games Simulation forum game was created.
If you've been here long enough (or done enough backreading), you probably already know why we created this thread as a successor of the original thread, but to keep a long story short, as the original thread grew bigger both in regular players and in scope, it became increasingly apparent that we needed order to keep the chaos contained – more rules, a proper OP explaining all the rules, game mods who can actually enforce the rules, better organisation, higher standards for things like event submissions, and just a better experience all around. These changes were all big enough that we decided it would be better to reboot the game with all of these changes instead of continuing the OG, and, well, here we are. Whether you've been playing this game for four years or four weeks, I hope you're having a good time, and I hope we can continue to make this game better and better going forward!

◊ We've got a pretty good lineup this season, huh? This is a considerably varied collection of notable tributes from past Reboot seasons, nominators' personal favourites, and just whoever people felt like yeeting in. Who will win? Who will die? Who will take home a slice of that delicious anniversary cake? Leeeeeeet's find out!
- We're starting this season off with a long-held tradition – many tributes running away from the Cornucopia and/or grabbing something that will probably never be relevant to the season again.
- Well, I say that, but it turns out that a ladder that Glori thought would assist her throughout the season… ended up being the reason for her being the first casualty. Be careful about what you take from the Cornucopia, folks.
- You're known as a corpse-hoarder in this game. I wouldn't put too much hope in that.
- Whoa! Arma's wasting no time at all with that explosive, which wipes out three tributes in a blink of an eye. Press F for Remmy, Bandana Waddle Dee and Thrawn.
- Uh-oh… I wouldn't mess with Ori…
- Turns out Requital somehow died before he even got off the podium. RIP.
- Will the pizza joint statue win, though? Let's see…
- She sure does, because her nominator sure does nominate her a lot!

- Will Sunburst or Kasli become President? Well, that's going to depend on whether they win or not.

- The Black Eagles give Shadow Futaba their blessing, allowing her to effortlessly kill Arma, Sam, and… *sigh* Starlight, who sadly never had the chance to continue her streak of killing Bale's tributes. RIP to all three.
- Lotta tributes fighting for the title of President this season, huh? Also, +1 for the Snow death counter!

I have mixed feelings regarding Shadow Futaba taking help from the Black Eagles, but she's already tied for my most murderous tribute, so I can't complain.

Welp, I guess I suffered severe hematoma from the traffic cone yeeting itself at my head for having both my and Ichi's tributes die in the same bloodbath event... At least Arma got karma for murdering them and also Starlight. (Shot by Scips)

- Seeking revenge for their suffering, the Black Eagles go for the season's resident sheep. They challenge her to a danmaku duel, and Watame accepts, thinking she can take them on… but of course, she's woefully outnumbered.
- Snakeweed, hearing of another corpse-hoarder in the Arena, approaches her and offers to take her motorboating. Tonya, on the other hand, isn't interested in being friendly.
- Adeleine's getting a lot of customers tonight!
- The Peacekeepers… actually live up to their name. Huh.
- Aww, come on, little star, at least try to cook your own meals!
- Gorgeous Freeman takes advantage of Agatha's new car transformation… and ends up being a complete idiot about it. Press F for the two of them.
- Luna-chan begrudgingly lets Pingu-san hug her. Pingu-san hugs her longer than Luna-chan allows.
- Cayde-6 and the traffic cone have unresolved romantic tension with each other… wat.
- When was Jesse imprisoned? And for what? Either way, he's out now.
- Sunburst eats a literal death burger and his chest… well, bursts. At least he's with Starlight again.
- Someone, somewhere, has drawn Cucui fanart so adorable that Cucui himself has died because of it. GG.

- Puffsley's Comet takes the Genocide Route… in Undertale.
- Bender finds Cucui's corpse – which, surprisingly, hasn't yet been taken by Tonya or Snakeweed – and is very upset about it.
