To make things worse, it's also the first death of this season, and right during the Bloodbath.
...maybe I shouldn't say that. Well, half of my winning chance is gone already. Funny how I'm actually smug and confident on one of my tributes being the biggest loser in this season right away.
Though, I have noticed some irony in the death scene here:
1. Electrocution can't actually kill the zombies from Zombie Land Saga, ironically, they absorb it in their body - though to be fair, being crushed is something that crumpled Sakura and effectively eliminating her from this season's competition. Failing that, the zombies still can feel pain despite being effectively immortal.
2. If there's anyone who would die this way more sensibly (as in, electrocuted), it's Ai Mizuno (from the same series to boot). Still ironic with the above though, since she's also a zombie.

Also, speaking of which - I actually noticed just recently as of my edit late in 2nd Jan 2024, that I wasn't the first to nominate a character from Zombie Land Saga. In fact, very far from it. Found this through the Nightmare Fuel page for Hunger Games Simulation.
EDIT: Yup. This isn't the first time Sakura Minamoto was here, the first time was this, also with fellow Franchouchou members Ai Mizuno and Junko Konno courtesy of another nominator in the same season. Sakura was nominated with a fellow "truckbait", while my theme was instead First-Episode Resurrection.
In other words, I had committed tribute theft from the start. Oddly enough, that time Sakura was actually luckier, Not only she didn't even die in the Bloodbath, she also scored her own kills there.

Speaking of which, does the "cannot nominate a tribute that has recently participated" is not limited to regardless of who nominated the tribute, or just one's own tributes?

The Tribute Cooldown Rule only applies if you and only you are trying to nominate the same tribute, e.g. if I nominate Alice in one season, then I have to wait four more before I can nominate her again, but if another player nominates her within the cooldown period (like in the very next season), that's okay.

This couldn't have gone any worse for me. Aside from having both tributes die in the Bloodbath consecutively after each another, that is.

I'm definitely not one of those with Beginner's Luck.

This is just how life wants to screw you over in the new year huh, whoever cursed me with bad luck for this year is going to pay. In blood.

Also as another note: I think I'm the only one who prepared special death images for both of my tributes. It's a wonder how I manage to find for the other one. Sakura's one was definitely not an obscure one.
