I might as well go ahead and say some stuff.
First off, Chey and Ford, both as individuals and as a couple, are purely fictional. Sure, they're both variations of a real person and a character from a different franchise but at the end of the day, they only exist in text posts and the occasional drawing.
Second off, while it's a widely known fact I very much fancy the actor who played Ford in the TV adaptation of the media Ford came from, admire the stuff outside of Hitchhiker's that he started in, and I'd love to meet him one day, give him a hug, and ask for a autograph and maybe help with my Minecraft village, I know damn well that I'll never get romantically involved with him.
Third off, the whole relationship is a big old jab at Mary Sues. Basically one big joke. Sure, they may be written like Sickeningly Sweethearts from a Hallmark movie, but it's just a joke. But why end the joke when Ford has practically become a valued ally and he and Chey have become the first supercouple in the thread?

Yes, of course it was. Whereas mine and Tropes are mostly not and are an IRL couple. Chey likes to have a bit of fun, like all of us. Hers is being in love with a fictional character who has become a part of the team.
By the way, you didn't really answer the question. Why the disdain, if you don't mind me asking?

~Autistic Alivia I'm sorry but it's been almost grating to most having unnecessary NPC's that won't drive the plot forward. We cannot let this happen again, please. Plus, having Alivia logic is almost borderline OP. Please keep the NPC'S historically appropriate
