Seems a bit of an improvement.
Being on a planet other than Earth helps.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportMaybe we should do a collage? Something from this◊ and this◊, including the OP?
Spiral out, keep going.Maybe? But I think OP can stand by itself.
I can go with the OP's suggestion.
(Annoyed grunt)OP is good.
The challenge is that most deserts look quite similar, and there should be a really obvious landmark to make it clear it's not the American southwest, the only place where cacti grow naturally and thus won't be this trope.

Speaking of Mario, a quick Google search returned this image of Drybake Desert from Paper Mario: Sticker Star. I think that the pyramids in the background help illustrate that it's not the Americas. Only flaws I can find in this image is that there are only two cacti, they only occupy a small portion of the image, and aren't the main focus, but I still think it decently illustrates a desert having cacti despite not being based on a region where they live.
That's not bad. Maybe someone who has the game can screencap a better picture.
Since this trope is all deserts, maybe we want a collage?
A collage would be a good idea.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Where is OP from? The image should be potholed to the work it's from.
Keet cleanupClock is set.
Edit: False alarm.
Anyways, we may need a crowner once the issue with crowners resolves.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI like OP, but it needs to be potholed to No Man's Sky.
Keet cleanupThe Alien Sky in OP is very subtle, otherwise the pic looks exactly like the place where cacti are likely to grow (American southwest).
I disagree, that celestial body in the sky is much closer than our moon is normally.
Sure, once you recognize that this is a moon.
I think a collage would be the best way to illustrate this
I suggested this a while back, but didn't have time to make a collage.
The current picture is just two cacti and a sun, which doesn't really illustrate how every desert has cacti in them. I'd suggest a picture like this one.
