Exactly, I'm lucky to even still have my left leg after that, and having it give out last night to where I had to be carried on a stretcher to our campsite.

It's here I note Delilah is more than likely beginning to grow impatient. Brings me back to why we are even outside this café to begin with.

I'm willing to commit to doing this, but can we at least get ourselves some breakfast first? We had to go three hours by foot, after three hours last night to make our campsite, just to get here. We can get it to go if need be.

The boat

Excellent idea, sir but..I'm her former best friend. I—I'm probably the only one who could get through to her.

(As good as breakfast sounds, some of us can't afford to wait around. I'm in no mood to argue, so I agreed to Marlon's idea.) Probably for the best that we do get it to go. That way we get both food and time.

"Well, sounds like a good spot at least for us, hopefully we can tie it down. Thanks, mateys."

And then Stellan's bit.

"Hrm, we got any plan for you t'get t'talk t'her without us gettin' captured or somethin'?"

Exactly, we get in, get our food, get out, and within 20 minutes we'll be on our way there.

The boat

I do. As long as you all can find a place to hide I can use the "catching up with friends" card to get her to stand down and submit to whatever authorities we can find. If not...

Some small electricity crackles from Stellan's head.

Then I'll have another way to stop her.

You all haven't eaten yet? (Well, they did just get back after a three hour walk, but I'm surprised they didn't eat something already before leaving to get back here.) Well, let's hurry up and get some food to go and then we'll go down to the docks and find a boat.

Hey, nice tuh meet ya...Steph...Rex...   Rainmaker...   Bailey...nice hat, pal, just sayin'. (Benji greets Steph, Rex, Rainmaker, and Bailey shaking their hands one after the other and copying their respective forms as he does so, ending on Bailey's.)

This is all assuming that she'll be willing to talk to you or even let you act in the first place, isn't it? (Renata asks.) From what I've heard of her, it wouldn't surprise me if by this point she simply saw you as another Pokémon to add to her numbers.

Yeah, and we don't wanna lose you, too! (June agrees.)

I agree to the notion, then look around me to identify anyone else who'd come with me to get this done. I do immediately identify three: Grigs, Nori, and Hikari.

You guys wanna help me get this food so we can get on our way?

The boat

I was her only non-manufactured friend in life. Assuming she still remembers me, it should be easy. Even though I still think she had a hand in my father's death, which is another hand on itself..

Knowing she'd also have to introduce herself, Hikari takes a moment before curtsying to Benji and introducing herself, "I am Hikari, pleased to make your acquaintance. I, um... Hail from the uh, 'same world' as Noriaki, I believe is what I should say."

She shyly hide part of her face under her floppy white hat before glancing over to Marlon as he made his inquiry.

"That sounds like a good idea, I'm sure we can accompany you", said Noriaki, "Whenever you feel ready."

(I nodded to Marlon when he asked.) Sure, I'll help.

After some moments of deliberation I nod towards those who had agreed to come with me inside the café to get the food.

Alright, I'm ready, let's keep this brief.

I hop ahead into the café to find anyone of interest.

Hello? We gotta get food to go.

Café

(At the entrance, there stood an Ursaring cashier to the right. He looked rather shocked at the sudden request and the Gallade's state, but he nevertheless replied.) Oh! What do you all need?

"Nice to meet you too, Bailey," Steph's yellow ears perk up at the mention, "Name's Steph. I'm a kadabra and I think I'm trying to bend spoons unsuccessfully at the moment." She preens her mustache for now.

[Seems like was ignored. Maybe I should of who I was speaking to.]

"Is there anything quick you can make me, I'm in a bit of a rush?" I say to the Ursaring, letting the others speak for themselves.

[If I don't find what I'm the two items looking for in a few days, then I may strike out on my own. Unless one wants to join me on my quest. Also I'll need to relocate my ally, though the 'Mon is kinda young...]

I began to loose myself in worried thoughts.

Cafe

Um, Daniel seemed to have appeared basically out of nowhere. Okay...

...right, gotta get to business. Need to get food for all of us for the trip there.

We got places to be, can you make us whatever you've got? We have a fairly large party.

Café

(The Ursaring nodded.) I'll try to do some sandwiches and wraps for quick food and for drinks, we can do juices and tea if that's your thing. I'll get the order ready for you in just a few.

(Briskly, he walked to the kitchen. Moments later and he came back to the group.) It'll be ready for you guys in a little bit.

(Curiously, he looked at the Mawile and replied.) What do you want?

Alright. Do your best, because we've got something big happening.

With regards to Daniel, though...

He's with us, he'll probably want the same things you'll have for us. Right, Daniel?

Heh, actually, he's Bailey. (Benji chuckles, motioning toward the real Bailey beside him. He shifts back into his default Swampert form for now to lessen any confusion.)

(Benji realizes he forgot to greet Daniel as well and looks into the restaurant after him.) Reckon I'll catch him when he comes back out...sure was dressed interestin'ly, just sayin'. He royalty or somethin'?

(I follow the others into the restaurant.) I can cover some of the cost if it's not a problem. (I offer.)

(I still find myself fidgeting since I really REALLY want to get going so we can save Goobert.)

Shifter

Hope you're right...bzz... (Maran says.)

Well, reckon we should git goin' t' the back of th' island. (Rich says. He turns to Salty.) Y' ready t' take us there, matey?

"I be having the same as the others, if you are willing." I respond to the Ursaring, then turn my attention to Marlon, "Does that answer your question?"

After responding to the Gallade, I apologize to the startled 'Mons, "I do that sometimes."

Cafe

I nod at Daniel. Delilah makes an offer to cover the order, which is...alright, good.

Oh uh, sure. Go ahead. We did get stretched thin during our attempts to stop L'Arachel.

Boat

Stellan and Melani prepare themelsves.

Café

(I pull out the rest of my money to cover the cost. It's not much, especially since our encounter with L'Arachel drained our cash.)

(After a few minutes, the Ursaring came back with a big box with all sorts of food and drinks inside.) Here you go. That'll be 6000 Poke.

Foxfell (Restaurant)

I pass about 2000 Poké over to the Ursaring...down to my last 500 now.
