Needs Help: Bowties Are Cool

It can be included under Iconic Outfit. Keeping it as a seperate trope would only cause more People Sit On Chairs misuse.

If there are worthwhile examples, maybe disambiguating the page and telling people to bring the tropes through TLP works best.

Are we coming to a consensus at all? Seems like a few options have been proposed:

• Delete the page, move good examples to Tuxedo and Martini, Badass in a Nice Suit, or other appropriate pages
• Keep page, rewrite description to emphasize how the bowtie indicates personality, purge bad examples
• Delete the page, use TLP to create a better version

1 and 3 are sort of similar. We could delete bad examples, move some to Badass in a Nice Suit, some to Iconic Outfit, and TLP new tropes like Bowtie Of Neridness. Then we could either delete this page or disambiguate it. I still think there should be a crowner.

The mods generally won't close an active discussion because of a clock. It's only if the discussion has stalled and the clock has expired that they'll close it.

But yeah, crowner seems like a good idea.

Hooked, although the number of inbounds will probably mean that a disambiguation will be chosen instead.

I think the crowner is a bit muddled. The choices are either to delete the page and move examples to other pages, or delete the page and TLP new tropes. Why not both?

We're (hopefully) not doing both because TLPing new Appearance Tropes is honestly a bad idea.

I say cut, but the high inbound count might not allow for that. Disambiguating is probably the next best thing.

I'm not finding anything. Like the wick checks on the previous page show, the majority of the usage of this thing is for pointing out a characters wears a bowtie with the occasional gushing.
