Considering Sony owns that show, it's very much possible. Though maybe for next time.
Spider-Man Unlimited suit, please.
You mean the TV Show, well that was a Fox show I believe. Fox-Disney will have the rights so Insomniac since this is produced by Playstation 4 with Disney's blessings (hence the Homecoming and Infinity War and Avengers Tower and other Marvel references) can do it next time. MTV Spider-Man was Sony and MTV so they might have rights to it, but that skin is Raimi suit and the model for Peter Parker there is a dead ringer for Insomniac's Peter.
I'd love an Emissary from Hell outfit.
It's been 3000 years…Spider-Cop suit or bust.
Spider-Cop actually showed up in that new crossover event.
It's for next time I am sure. Including now would be sad, owing to the estranged friendship between Spidey and Yuri, and Spider-Cop was a gag between them.
If they're giving out suits for special occasions, that might be how they're planning to release it.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It aired on Fox. It wasn't made by Fox. It was produced by Sony, so Sony would still have the rights to it.
Nah. Unlimited was a co-production between Marvel Studios and Saban. IIRC, Marvel actually has the full rights to the series (such that we were able to see Unlimited Spidey as a corpse and his show’s world during Spider-Verse, unlike the total lack of presence the Sony-owned Spideys got during the same event).
Sony are damn protective of their take on Spidey. They see Spider-Man as their Flagship Franchise, their Star Wars. The reason why Spectacular Spider-Man had references to Raimi's movies (such as Daily Bugle in the Flatiron Building, the origins being shot-for-shot like the Raimi) and also in this game and in Into the Spider-Verse is that they see that as their brand image. I agree with their decision (for story reasons, aesthetic reasons and for the fact that I do want Sony to keep hold of Spidey) but I must admit that Sony refusing to allow their takes on Spider-Man for Slott, and then adapting parts of the Spider-Verse story is hypocritical.
I was talking about Spectacular Spider-Man.
Spectacular was distributed by Sony. Not produced. It was produced by Marvel, Adelaide Productions and Culver Entertainment
Also though the show sucked, I'd love a Spider-Man Unlimited suit.

Adelaide Productions and Culver Entertainment are both subsidiaries of Sony. Adelaide Productions is a television animation division, and Culver Entertainment is a DTV label.
It's like saying Who Framed Roger Rabbit isn't a Disney movie because it was made by Touchstone Pictures. That's technically true, but a moot point, since Disney owned Touchstone.

So I rather like the Final DLC for the Character Development and interactions with Peter and MJ and Miles:
MJ flies off to Symkaria to cover a warzone and Peter expresses concerns but right before she says goodbye, they exchange "I love you" for the first time in the entire game, with MJ saying it first, and Peter following up with "I love you, too". That was sweet. I wonder if MJ being this globe-trotting reporter might create new wrinkles. I mean the thing about Clark and Lois is that Superman can fly to any part of the world so her being a globetrotter was no hurdle, but Spider-Man is in NY and can't really be this world-wide guy (unless they do the Parker Industries story, which I doubt very much).
Peter and Miles is cool. Peter's basically using a "Dad voice" to talk to Miles, telling him to do his homework and stay to school and it's cute. Bendis said that in Ultimate Spider-Man, the dead Ultimate Peter was Uncle Ben to Peter but this time you actually see him be an actual father-figure. It's like seeing the Downey-Holland relationship in Spider-Man: Homecoming with Peter and Miles, only Peter's a nicer guy than Tony. The end of the DLC, and so actual end of the game, has a scene right out of The Lion King. Peter takes Miles above a gargoyle for his first web-swinging field session and it's cool-looking and heartwarming.
The Raimi references in Spectacular weren't some studio-mandated order. Weisman genuinely liked those movies, in particular the movie origin, so he paid some tribute to them. In any case, a Spectacular suit is unlikely, but not impossible, and would be neat to see. The Mangaverse suit shows they're not afraid to tinker with body proportions, and the color palette is similar enough. '
Unlimited is pretty distinctive enough to be worth a skin as well. I didn't think the PS 1 suit did it justice.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I think Bad Wolf got confused. I wasn't talking about Spectacular being off because of rights, but Spider-Man Unlimited. I am sure they have access to the rights for Spectacular, and hey, don'tcha know, Josh Keaton voiced Electro in this game. And of course Yuri Lowenthal who voiced Peter in Unlimited voices Peter here. So obviously they know of those precedents.
They do have the rights to Spectacular. But since Spectacular is so faithful to Lee-Ditko already, don't know what it will add since they have a classic Spider-outfit render already. I mean it isn't like Batman TAS which added this memorable one of a kind design (namely the angular look of the cowl, those frowning white eyes of his). I do hope we get say a homage to the theme song at least. Speaking of which,
Weisman liked the Raimi movies but he did say Sony wanted some consistent details from the Trilogy, which he was happy to do it. It's part of Sony's brand and so on. They want their Spider-Man properties to remind you of the trilogy as much as the comics, even if the trilogy is not the same as the comics in many respects. It's similar to Superman where Christopher Reeve references keep circulating long after that.

Partway through the DLC, and I've run into the best glitch I've had in this game. I had a car spawn halfway inside a wall, messing up enemy pathfinding in a mission where you're supposed to be following them along a set path. Luckily they got past it, but damn.

Mileena MadnessYuri was Spidey in the Unlimited freemium mobile game, not the mostly-unrelated Unlimited cartoon from the late 90s that you were talking about. That was Rino Romano there, who later reprised the role for Activision's PS1 Spidey games.

Oh okay thanks for clarifying that. Still don't know why they reused that title it's just confusing.
Finished the DLC, not including the bases and street crimes but including the major sidequests.
I'm on the fence about it. It's better than Turf Wars, I think, but that's ultimately because it feels a lot like a shorter, slightly improved version of Turf Wars in the first place. Right down to the final battle being against the same guy. Plotwise, it's a lot like if someone mashed the plots of the previous two DLC packs together: Spidey teams up with a loose cannon old ally who is of questionable trustworthiness yet needs to be rescued and slowly trusted more, but Sable doesn't betray you like Cat. Likewise, he needs to try and temper this ally's obsession and rage against Hammerhead, while trying to find a way to defeat Hammerhead's new cybernetic upgrade. It's fun, but it's also rather samey, and the two balance each other out.
I think the payoffs to the sidequests and the main quest are what elevates it higher for me, I guess. The regular missions are, at their worst, practically street crimes with slightly more to them, but it leads to good stuff imo.
As for people worried about Yuri (vaguer, but still major, spoilers), she's not followed up on in the main plot, and the narration notes that her story is going to be picked up later. Instead, she's the subject of a very Hush style "track down the crime scenes" subplot, which leads up to something that definitely feels like something out of the Arkham series and rather cements her side on the hero / villain line going forward. More specific spoilers: they seem to interpret her as more of a serial killer than a costumed Punisher-style character though, though Wraith's trademark ribbons are very prominent in the areas you go through. The mission reminds somewhat of the Daredevil plot where Punisher makes Matt see all the awful things a criminal he's protecting has done, and then murders said criminal. Except with more stringing dead bodies up on display.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Got my bro this for Christmas.
Oh man. He's getting slaughtered in the opening Fisk battle. I've already lost count of how many times he's died.
Then again, he went for the third highest difficulty right off the bat (Amazing I believe).
Still it's fun to watch.
One Strip! One Strip!Yea, this game had a weird difficultly curve. I still think the biggest problem in this game is still the mooks than the bosses
I want a Spider-Man skin in the artstyle of The Spectacular Spider-Man.
