How far is Mk_97 into making a custom hunger games sim engine? I already made one
using a different programming language. While it might not be ready for use for lacking some features that I want to implement later, the source code might be able to guide him while he's making the core parts.

Sure. It's in VB .Net, so converting it into something that wound run over the internet would take time. Are we making one using only front-end stuff or would we put some features like database storage in the back-end?

The "caught making out" events were redundant with the vanilla version, though the body pillow and mannequin events have been kept for variety. Also, the Slash Fic events have been revised because the term is usually reserved for same-gender pairings.

- (Player 1) kidnaps (Player 2), (Player 3), and (Player 4) and holds a lottery. (Player 2) is burned alive, (Player 3) gets his/her leg broken and (Player 4) walks away unharmed. (Fatal for Player 2)

In my medical opinion the HEAVY IS DEAD!
- (Player1) is having tea with President Snow.
- (Player1) bribes President Snow to give (him/her1) a gun, Snow accepts the bribe and gives (him/her1) a powerful gun.
- (Player1) bribes President Snow to give (him/her1) a gun, Snow accepts the bribe and gives (him/her1) an airsoft gun.
- (Player1) bribes President Snow to give (him/her1) a gun, Snow accepts the bribe and gives (him/her1) a gunshot in the head. (Fatal)
- (Player1) bribes President Snow to give (him/her1) a gun, Snow declines the bribe and tells (him/her1) to go away.
- (Player1) bribes President Snow to give (him/her1) a gun, Snow declines the bribe and feeds (him/her1) to a pack of wolves. (Fatal)

So I’ve just created a poll about what themed seasons we should do before the reboot. If you could please vote for all the themed seasons you’d be most interested in doing before the reboot, that’d be great!
Most of these events should be self-explanatory, but just to clarify, the One Letter Difference Season involves two tributes in each team having one different letter in their names (e.g. Ariel and Asriel). And Heart Season is where every tribute has joke/unconventional powers. If you’re unsure what any of the others entail, please sing out here in the thread or the Discord server!

Do you all think that this whole ordeal warrants an Overshadowed by Controversy entry? I really must confess something. The nature of certain events (that I realized were submitted with adult tributes in mind) was why I never nominated underage tributes. Well, I nominated the teenage Ben Tennyson once, but of course I ended up regretting it REALLY fast when the RNG made him have a kid with Jack the Ripper, of all people (in an event that I submitted). And considering the fact that this is also the Season where the bootleg won, but not the real thing, Season 205 is an Old Shame for me.
And honestly, in retrospect, I have NO idea how it WASN'T Season 187 that caused this controversy. It's the one that contained the absolutely reviled event between Eike Kusch and Butters Scotch. I didn't say anything at the time (because I knew we probably wouldn't have been able to do it), but I really wanted to suggest that we re-run that Season, even though BOTH of my tributes became Hall of Famers.

Not to mention that Ben did get pregnant in canon. And yes, the last season deserves an Overshadowed by Controversy entry, like I said many pages ago. And don't forget Carlos. Yeesh, what's with my Magic School Bus tributes getting into these Squicky situations?!

Trust me, I had similar thoughts when Satoko and Rick slept together in Season 94... *shudder* Those events are the main reason I rarely nominated child tributes at all.

Gosh, speaking of Seasons I don't like, there's also Season 143. That was the Season where I tried to become a Phantom... Only to win the Season. I also dislike it because the RNG put me in a threesome (Sayaka definitely would have been made to leave). And there we see another problem with events like those. They can be REALLY uncomfortable if they involve real-life people.
It's part of why I almost would have preferred the total retcon and reset route.
You know, now that I look back on the whole thing, it was super weird and confusing from the start. And I guess, deep down, I just really hoped that maybe the RNG would have mercy on me (I probably should have just waited for the Troper Games). Then it didn't and I was like DAMN IT ALL.

Yeah, that's why I was really questioning nominating myself for S194 just to be a phantom. (Maybe getting killed that early was a good thing) Of course, if you nominate yourself knowing what you're getting into that's one thing... but what about the Troper Games, which had events specifically removed because it only involved us... but the hall-of-famers would still go on to next Battle Royale/Death Battle with the regular events back?
