I adopted the Chase-Scene Obstacle Course But honestly it looks about ready to go, it has enough examples and hats and the description is solid.
Are there any issues with it? If not, I will launch it next week.

Macron's notesWe're still figuring out which pages are being assimilated into the draft, aren't we?
Oh, missed that. I agree that they probably need to be assimilated but I feel that's beyond the scope of the thread since we are specifically tackling Cardboard Boxes. I think that we need to make a separate thread if we want to address the others as a group. Or change the name of this thread.

Macron's notesYeah, that's the issue, the thread started to tackle something beyond its scope and I feel that's why it stagnated.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSo now what? Do we start a Trope Repair Shop thread for each and every Sub-Trope of Chase Scene Obstacle Course asking if it should be cut and assimilated into that draft?

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight. If necessary. But for now, this draft is getting too bogged down by other tropes.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHold off on the draft and TRS those tropes as a group in another thread?
For this thread, we decided to cut Cardboard Boxes. So, maybe we can remove the wicks for that trope and cutlist it after.
Macron's notesI don't think they need to be merged. If it's a supertrope, which it seems to be IIRC, then the others don't have to be merged. I mean, when have we done that with supertropes.
In order to finish the TRS effort, I suggest we make it a more simple supertrope, with "cardboard boxes" being a generic, more-or-less bland example, and leave the trope open as a catch-all for new obstacle ideas. If someone tries to split "cardboard boxes" from the supertrope, we could cross that bridge when we get to it. The problem with the old Cardboard Boxes may or may not reappear. But for now I say we try to get this effort finished.
I'm not really sure why we would fuss over merging subtropes into the missing supertrope. Personally, I don't recall us generally doing that in TRS. We should just stay focused on Cardboard Boxes and Chase-Scene Obstacle Course.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyYeah, I would say that is for another thread.
Not sure what else the TLP needs before launch though
Macron's notesThe problem is that Fruit Cart, Baby Carriage, and Sheet of Glass have the same exact problem as Cardboard Boxes (completely nonindicative, chairsy name) and same narrative role (minor obstacle sent flying in a chase scene). Might as well just take care of it now, otherwise it'll never get fixed.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"Well the others can be done with their own threads or just one big thread later , while we work on finishing Cardboard Boxes for good. I don't see the point in holding back the TLP any longer.

Macron's notesI also don't see the point at stagnating this thread any longer. It stagnated once people started asking about the other tropes.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSame here.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! For multiple tropes like this, we normally use projects threads, no? I think we could launch the trope in TLP at present, then cut CB and move wicks as appropriate, then start a "Chase scene obstacle" thread in projects. Then these tropes can be discussed as to whether they are subtropes in their own right or if they need to be merged...
So we can close this thread finally, which is not about those other tropes.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettySounds good to me.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessChase-Scene Obstacle Course has been launched and crosswicked. So, now Cardboard Boxes can finally be de-wicked.
Macron's notesWicks are done. Now cutlisting Cardboard Boxes and it's quotes page.
Would the projects thread for the other tropes would go in long term projects or short term projects?
But yeah, in any case this can be closed.

Macron's notes
I am not comfortable with this page covering such a range. On one end we have cars bursting through cardboard boxes for effect and on the other end we have a character tipping over a bookshelf behind then while chased across a building.
