Trope Pantheon Story thread

So, I got an idea for a Pantheon story. I wanna know people's feelings on the concept before I actually consider writing anything about it.

"Malum Magia, after extensive R&D, has developed a weapon to surpass Metal Gear with the power to circumvent the Death Is Cheap nature of the Pantheon by transferring its victims' souls to a magical jar stationed inside the Malum Spire. Distributing this weapon to assassins aligned with the Alliance of Evil, how will this affect warfare within the Trope Pantheons, now that a significant advantage to the other alliances (excluding, maybe, the machines) might have been removed?"

The only reasoning on why Yvetal can get away with it is due to lots of gods, at least in my tales, paying little to NO attention as to what the F is going on (GU took place at the same time as TFA and did anyone important focus on the idea to keep an eye on the Iron Giant? No, didn't think so)

The theme of my stories are based on gods that, on a regular basis, don't get spotlighted or, as Dean Ambrose would point out in one scene "not very important" in the grand scheme of things. They just try to get on by despite shit hitting the fan every now and then.

A little known idea of mine is that gods (particularly Prophecy ones) are not omniscient; they don't know everything, can't see everything, can't prevent everything. TC (now TDAM) is about what happens when someone who actually has near-accurate predictions has to ask the little people to do a covert mission to stop the darkness before everyone else starts panicking and point fingers at one another. The Cutie Mark Crusaders (ironically Prophecy gods, but their aspect is helping others figure out their purpose/career/job path not in actual seeing the future) even question why BROKEN Matt just didn't explain his premonitions sooner, to which he replies that NO ONE believes a Prophecy God (which is kinda true in a sense; Absol is blamed for everything, Cassandra's cursed, Destiny relies on that book and Nozdormu wouldn't give two shits on those little ponies)

And since this is gonna take place as the same time as Reformation of Law, and Nozdormu is shown to be annoyed that the Crusaders have run off again then say, I don't know, worried that the Crusaders are gonna be facing the source of their nightmares for the past few months, then it feels like no one CARES. What does it feel like as a god, when you don't have anyone telling you things will be all right? Where one day you want to have fun and then you're thrust into a world where NO ONE cares, NO ONE can help you and NO ONE has no idea where you are.

And for those saying my story is dark, this final story is more of a Coming of Age Story as gods try to move on from the past. Dean Ambrose is called "Not very important" by others (which is what he called Kaiba before Kaiba went insane, nearly killed Kairi and unleashed an Undead Uprising), Yugi blames himself for causing the Crusaders so much pain, the Crusaders themselves are feeling lonely in the mountainous Prophecy House (as they're the youngest gods out there) and it's about ending and beginnings, the things that we do to move on, and in a sense, finding yourself in an always perennial perpetually chaotic world where nothing and everything makes sense.

And I still find it hypocritical that you blacklist my stories as dark when the Darker and Edgier entry for PR states that it is the darkest story in the Pantheon Lore where all I see is glorified action scenes with little to no details as to what's going on, or any emotional impact later and an act of juvenile pranks that I felt deflated what was supposed to be a "dark story".

In fact, it's because of all the chaos in these past stories that add into TDAM; the Pantheon is on lockdown during the Christmas holiday because of this Chaos/Law bull and it's making gods anxious and close to a rebellion of their own. Does anyone see Reality Ensues because sometimes, reality is much more strange and impactful than fantasy which is what I ask myself these days.

So there. This is me and my rant for now. I really feel like I have no say when it comes to "Darkness" in stories and I don't see anyone else writing more meaningful things nowadays.

Calm yourself. Getting angry won't change anything. If you don't think it's dark. (Also, I thought we changed TDAM to not take place at the same time as ROL? At the very least maybe about a week afterwards...hmm. Let's talk about that later).

I can assure you about darkness, that I myself have been called a edgelord for downright brutal plot points. Part of the time, I dismiss it, but other times I understand when things get so dark that Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy sets in. Ranting won't solve anything. Rather, calmly discussing plot points and when to time the so-called darkness will.

(Besides, most of my writing projects are independent of the Pantheon. )

Still find it hard that Yveltal will just run rampant like that. It's pretty hard to distract the great majority of the pantheon as it is.

Yvetal got angered by a spoiler character in a last ditch effort to stop a dark wave from consuming the Pantheon, long story.

Sorry about the rant, but usually I am in the background and me being calm is equal to me being ignored.

Any updates on Kibou Go Formation?

Also, I've had this Junko/Izaya buddy crook teamup for years now, and I want to write a tale of them causing chaos for shits and giggles across the Pantheon.

Anyone up for it?

HotmanX32 and safind went to me and Camilla and arranged for an overhaul on our stories. Namely, the fact that the Persona games might be overloading the Pantheon in a narrative sense. Mainly from kicking off (but not starting; that privilege goes to krimzonflygon2, I think, for Sayaka Miki) the prospect of any deity being able to earn theirs so long as they can survive the TV World, and then accept their Shadow.

Anyway, here's a random thought:

I wonder what would happen if the Inception crew and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts target the same person? Would messing with the mark's Palace have an effect on the dreamscape? Does the same apply vice-versa? Just a thought for a mini-story.

My first time on the story thread. Have some ideas.

This concerns the new Dissidia because Shinryu was the bad guy all along. So what if Shinryu was the one who broke Melkor out of the Timeless Halls and kicked off the whole Pantheon's plot. No connection to YHVH or Lucifer.

We can fit Lucifer in there. Specifically Strange Journey Redux by having Louisa reveal this to the uninformed.

So, Does YHVH know about Shinryu too?

Nah. Lucifer indulging in things even Law is ignorant of happens on occassion.

This might be bit complain-y and all that, but I wonder if I should just remove Dimension Mirror. I tried to place it in sort of as a plot thread to be explored in the future, but I feel like multiple people took the idea for Mirror Pantheon to a completely different direction.

We have endless amount of realities of the Pantheon, I just wanna see a universe where some deities get shoved into it while being confused what happened in that alternate dimension. For example, they'll see that YHVH fused with Patrick Star and has now made a Bible for The Ugly Barnacle

Well it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. Just a quick update on the upcoming story Rainbow Rivalries. the villains have been selected and a rough draft of the epilogue dialogue has been written out. (Writing endings makes it easier to write the rest of the story.) anyway hope all is well with you guys and I look forward to sharing the story with you all.

Are there any other stories set in year two or after the Alternate Gentaro arc?

There will be a couple in year two. After Rainbow Rivalries there will be Homunculus Theory and On Shadowed Wings. Still works in progress though.

Well, Camilla's been AFK for a very long time now, and Hotman's been thinking of removing her stories from the Wordpress altogether. But if that happens, at least one thing needs to be fixed, and it seems I'll need a new beta who knows the Persona games. (at least the 4th)

I am gone due to personal provlems in my life and yeah these stories need major rewrites but you do not delete my stuff withoit my goddamn say so.

Hey, guys. I got a scenario for part of a story. I know this should go to the story thread, but it's too quiet there. Here's the scene.

Should Makoto fight the Courier? How long if so? She still needs to come out in fighting condition. Can she negotiate with them? Will the Courier allow her to come with (as a companion or as a tail)?

There is a scenario I had in mind. In the wake of Onimusha HD being announced... I just had a thought of a scenario involving the Genma.

As we all know, I think we just had Fortinbras as the Genma rep in the Pantheon. Unfortunately, the majority of the Sengoku Period deities for some reason now opposed him, with the exception of Sengoku Basara Nobunaga. This absolutely does NOT sit well with Fortinbras, and now he's either trying to make more Sengoku Period people succumb to his will once more, or... expand his horizons; he'll find more historical deities and inflict them with Historical Villain Upgrade to empower the Genma and screw history, rewriting them to ensure that these people succeeded big time and empower him and the Genma further for... more feasts? I dunno, the Genma clan to me seemed to come off as being more concerned of "We need food. Humans tasty! Make Earth our eternal cattle for food!"

Which historical people do you think he will target? It doesn't have to be Japanese.
