Save Colin Farrell, save the world.
Hrm, they appear to be changing quite a bit.
No offense to the actor here, but this kid doesn't seem much like Artemis. He doesn't act smart enough...or dickish enough.
Oh God! Natural light!I'm watching this trailer and I'm like...what is the appeal of these books? What's special about them? Because the trailer isn't really selling me on the movie or the franchise.
Well, for starters, Artemis is a hell of a lot smarter in the books, as well as a criminal mastermind, and more than a bit of a dick. Also his dad wasn’t involved in any of the supernatural stuff, being presumed dead and kidnapped by the Russian Mafia - Artemis discovers the fairies on his own, and actually KIDNAPS Holly for a ransom.
It also tends to basically be “high tech fantasy Die Hard”, which...isn’t really something that comes across here.
Oh God! Natural light! If they had changed the names in that trailer, I doubt I would have guessed that it was supposed to be an Artemis Fowl adaptation.
I’d call it an Artemis Fowl ripoff, at least.
Oh God! Natural light! You know if that film flops they're going to call it Artemis turkey
New theme music also a boxThe far more obvious joke would be "Artemis Foul".
"All you Fascists bound to lose.""You know,we think this bird had it's wing clipped by Disneythen ,they plucked out the feathers too,we're seriously considering this a case of animal cruelty"
New theme music also a boxA prequel series for Beauty And The Beast will be on Disney+. Josh Gad and Luke Evans return.
What could it possibly be about ?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Oh dear lord, is this going to be La Fou and Gaston in the Army?
Will it contain more “look, Lefou almost did a gay thing! But not enough to tick off homophobes from buying Disney!”
"We're so progressive! But not so progressive that it counts as representation!"
New theme music also a boxMaking sure to keep the gay scenes to small scences which could easily be missed and will probably be cut in some regions. Gotta worship that almighty dollar that disney loves sadly.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I have a dare for Disney, make Cassandra Flynn Ryder in the Tangled life action remake.
I read the junior novelization of the B&TB remake a while ago and cracked up at how in the climax, Gaston was described as having a "horrible rifle" like the gun was the villain XD
"Lifting her head, Belle saw Gaston—and his horrible rifle—disappear in a cascade of stones."
The Protomen enhanced my life. While not nearly as funny as "horrible rifle", but I do like how in most adaptations of the Disney animated film, for Gaston's Disney Villain Death the narrative usually paints Gaston like some dumb clod.
It's often a variation of "Frightened, Gaston took a step backward, lost his balance, and fell to his death."
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationNo one dies a stupid death like Gaston.
It's been 3000 years…Man what a dope, that Gaston!

The man, the myth, the legend.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."No... one’s...
Vain like Gaston
Brings the pain like Gaston
No one falls to his death in the rain like Gaston!
