I like how they aren't just making the needed gameplay fixes, but also touching up the inconsequential details, like adding a Velo mask for the CNK villains.
SoundCloudWow. I do not remember the game being this unforgiving.
You clearly never raced against the original bosses. Pinstripe and Oxide are just borderline unfair in the original
Uni catNo, I remember them being awful. It's just that the game seems way harder overall.
I'd probably agree the general AI is harder. I'd actually say the bosses are easier in general, Nitrous Oxide in particular felt a lot easier than in the original game. Maybe because they made him accel class instead of max stats to make him playable?

I missed the part where that's my problem. He also gets stunned normally instead of spinning for half a second. That helps a lot
Uni catI beat Oxide in 2 tries. This is compared to the countless tries it took me to beat Pinstripe
Controversial question
Would you add the Titan monsters? At least some of the normal sized ones?
Uni catYes. To quote a previous post I made on this thread;
"Personally, I want Shellephant since he's my favorite Titan, though I think Ratcicle would be more likely since he seems to be the "mascot" of the Titans games."
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Oxide was a Crash class in the original. The one character with maxed out stats was PAL!Penta.
Also, Pinstripe remains harder than Oxide to this very day, even in the original, even with Oxide just spinning unless stuck with a mask or shield, and even with Oxide always having a second of advantage.
So what you're saying is...
We should've just left it to Pinstripe to save the planet?
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniI guess the bosses saying they should be the ones to take on Oxide could be considered Hilarious in Hindsight now, since they actually can be used to challenge him this time.
SoundCloudI wouldn't mind maybe one playable Titan, but I would definitely like the remaining NaughtyDog-era characters to be prioritized. Bring in N. Brio, Koala Kong and Komodo Moe, and then maybe we can talk about Titans. Nina Cortex should also be a high priority.
So, just for fun I decided to come up with a hypothetical list for characters to be added to Nitro-Fueled after Spyro;
- Fake Velo
- Nitrus Brio
- Koala Kong
- Komodo Moe
- Gurin (Dansu! De Jump! Na Daibouken)
- Unused Hyena character
- Rilla Roo
- Bearminator
- Mega-Mix
- Nina Cortex
- Evil Twins
- Evil Crash
- Evil Coco
- Ant Leader
- Rusty Walrus
- Farmer Ernest
- Pasadena O'Possum
- Ebenezer Von Clutch
- Willie Wumpa Cheeks
- Doctor N. Tangle (Cortex Chaos)
- Doctor N. Tertain (Cortex Chaos)
- Doctor N. Tombed (Cortex Chaos)
- The Viscount (Crash Boom Bang!)
- Yaya Panda (Crash Nitro Kart 2)
- Ratcicle
- Nathan Drake
- Ellie
Other fun ideas that I had with these characters is that Gurin could say "Penguin Yay 2", Mega-Mix could reuse voice clips of Mutant Neo Cortex from Crash: Mind Over Mutant, and both Nathan and Ellie could have their own racetracks themed after their home series.
So, what do you guys think?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Would Evil Crash and Coco be different characters or just skins?
Her face is in a banner in the Cortex Castle stage, she's probably a safe bet.

Different characters. I don't consider the alternate costume that Crash gets in Crash Tag Team Racing called "Evil Crash" and the actual "Evil Crash" the same bandicoot.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. We are getting Baby Crash and Coco so they could probably their own thing.
Isn't Bearminator a bit too big? (insert Ridley joke).
Nate and Ellie sound like random ideas but i wouldn't mind them. A bit out of place.
Now, that would PS 4 exclusive. Switch could get Mario!

Uni catNate and Ellie are references to Naughty Dog. But given how Naughty Dog and Crash have parted ways and have no real relation anymore afaik, I doubt it could happen. Not to mention how odd normal humans would look compared to all the other characters.
I missed the part where that's my problem.I don't know that they would do console exclusives though. Not unless each console gets an exclusive character.
"Isn't Bearminator a bit too big?"
Eh, I only included him to add onto the list.
I was messing around with the idea of Naughty Dog Guest Fighters for the game. Other considerations I had were Jak and Daxter and someone from Way of the Warrior. And I do agree that their realistic looks would contrast with the cartooney look of the rest of the cast, but that's why I find the idea of them being Guests so appealing. And I think it could be fun racing around a plane wreck in the middle of the desert, or an abandoned, forested city with giraffes roaming around.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I would love if Jak and Daxter or Sly Cooper appeared in the future. I know it's a pipe dream but it'd be cool.
Those three need their own HD remakes.

I'd be all for a Jak and Daxter Trilogy.
I'd prefer a brand-new Jak game continuing the story. The Jak games have aged quite gracefully. They don't really need a remake.
Also, a funny idea for a skin: Photorealistic bandicoot, replacing Crash with a non-stylized, realistic eastern-barred bandicoot.

Last time Naughty Dog tried to make a Jak game, it came out as The Last of Us.

I bring good news: Beenox has heard your concerns. They've put out a blog post detailing the stuff they'll add, change, and fix in the Nitro Tour Grand Prix patch that drops on July 3rd.
That includes a fix for that dreadful save corruption bug on PS4, which apparently comes about as a result of too much Time Trial ghost data. Beenox recommends not doing those until the patch is out.
