Just saying if we were like the other wiki the reviews some of our more note worthy members have put together would be "original research" and thus unusable.
Yeah, that's their "Just the facts" approach to objectivity. It cramps their writing style too.
I feel all reviews are pretty inherently subjective anyway. Hey, maybe everything is a matter of opinion in the end.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."@Sabbo: Welcome aboard, mon. Any help is most appreciated.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I can see Blur The Lines is definitely NSFW, but is it pornographic?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThis may be too small to be a representative sample, but I skimmed through some ten strips, and while I saw a couple of (not overly explicit) one-panel sex scenes and some nudity, all of that seemed to fall into "sex comedy" rather than "intended to arouse". If the comic never gets worse than that, there's no way it's porn.
Going back a few pages, someone mentioned One Hundred Strokes Of The Brush Before Bed. I haven't read it myself, but I've seen it in mainstream bookshops in plain view at the Bestsellers shelf, which I doubt would happen if it were pure pornography.

It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdEdit: Wrong title.
From the looks of it, it may be cuttable on pedo grounds, but probably not. Definitely warrants a look though.

I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own.Ecchi does not equal porn. Also, Marshmallow Hell is more of a comedy trope than a "pedo pandering" trope, and is present in all sorts of perfectly innocent series.
The current trope picture is of a pre-teen boy with his face in the breasts of a teen girl. I think the same series the trope picture comes from has one or two instances where the girl of the pair was nude, but I could be misremembering.
It is generally played for the humour derived from the embarasement of the male character. If any of the characters are being played for titilation, it is the female of the pair. Given the target audience of Popotan, I seriously doubt they are playing the young male for titilation.
Now, if the boy was also shown nude and with an abvious physical reaction "downunder" to the situation, that would be an issue, but if it is just showing no more of him than the average nude young boy scene in Calvin And Hobbes I don't think it would be an issue.

Marshmallow Hell is one thing, and in most cases depending on context it's probably fine.
The first scene in the first episode of Popotan however raised eyebrows because the boy was pre-teen and the woman was fully nude, with bare breasts shown on-screen.
Even still, I could possibly have written it off as a "okay, they're just playing this for laughs" deal... except that the very same episode ends with the boy and woman bathing together, including a shot where the nude boy is laying atop the nude woman, with his head on her breasts.
So this isn't just your standard case of Marshmallow Hell. There's more factors involved here that I have to consider when making my decision, and having multiple instances of young (sometimes nude) child on nude adult contact is going to seriously pre-dispose me towards the devil-head option.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Fair enough. When I get around to it I'll try and watch it myself to judge.
I do have question about one thing though:
very same episode ends with the boy and woman bathing together
How old is the boy? Under or over 10? Really young boys bathing with older females isn't that uncommon. Detective Conan has a gag where Conan, in the body of a 7 year old, is bathed by Ran (or Rachael in the English versions). She considers it a non-sexual thing because in her mind, he's just a little kid and mixed gender bathing with little kids is a non-issue in Japan. Conan, however, gets a nosebleed over it, because he is really a 16 year old that got turned into a little kid. And that is is a show so strait-laced that the Japanese police use it in their crime awareness campaigns.
And then there is Negima with its habit of having 10 year old Negi constantly end up in the baths/showers/hotsprings with well endowed teenage girls, sans clothes. I don't think anyone would accuse that of being a shotacon series.
The part about "including a shot where the nude boy is laying atop the nude woman, with his head on her breasts" is the most problematic aspect of the scene.
Trust me, I'm a long time anime fan, so I'm familiar with some of the standard conventions that these kinds of series tend to use. I've seen bath scenes that I wouldn't bat an eyelash at. This one is rather different.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!2 3 new bad flags: Out-of-Genre Experience and Characters. The Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask and The Amazing Spiderman. They misclicks, or what?
Also 3 new probably in good faith flags, two NSFW furry webcomics, one creator who did Chub Pan and one of the new flags.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenMaaaybe the Majora's Mask flag was due to Link (who's a kid in this installment) getting some (clothed) Marshmallow Hell from Cremia. That's the only reason I can think of for someone to intentionally flag the page, and that's still pretty ridiculous.
I'm just playing Devil's Advocate here. There's absolutely nothing cut-worthy about the game.

Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent. That would be plain stupid if it was flagged because of that:
1) That scene only occurs when you beat a relatively long sidequest again, and even then, it only happens part of the time.
2) The scene itself is not the least bit sexualized, as it's just a hug.
3) Even if it was prime pedobait, with all the stuff that that implies, why flag the Characters page? Wouldn't it make more sense to cut the main work page?

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenFor some reason I thought we had talked about that already. Right now it's on the 3rd page of the voting tool with one angel vote.
Yeah, it's been talked about a few times before.
It's confirmed to be better then it looks, in the "not pedo-pandering" field.
To confirm, English manga was licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment, listed as Seinen I think, while English anime was licensed by Funimation.

I think helping out the P5 and saving them trouble where possible is worthwhile.
Times like this I wish we could be absolutely objective like Wikipedia.
Most people just want to help though. I feel like I should help out over on the P5 special efforts thread as well. I think they have things well in hand, but it does seem a lot less popular than this thread.
