Next off topic comment gets thumped.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIn the same vein as Orgazmo, Zack And Miri Make A Porno needs to go through official review. Despite the name, it's not porn (although someone apparently thought it was, since I had to take it off the Plot With Porn page), and is rated R and was released in mainstream theaters.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.That was fast.
Ok, as with a couple of other works and now that a mod has established precedent, I absolutely don't think The Vagina Monologues should be cut, but I think someone will think it should be.
(It's one of the works I alluded to on the policy thread)
Now, having listed it, where do I go to defend it?

The child is father to the man —OedipusLike I said, I'm leaving the council to make the call on this one.
EDIT: There was a list here, but the editors cut it before I did.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Ummm, Pyrite, all those works have been cut. They were on the Hentai index. Check it first, please.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerDid you mean the Pages Cut Under The Policy Change page? Like I said, the editors worked too fast for me, because the pages were still intact when I was checking them less than 5 minutes ago. And I can't find the original Hentai index.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Getting back on topic, somebody should probably review the My Balls page. It's not strictly pure porn, but the the entire premise is based entirely around sex, a lot of which is pretty explicit. I believe most of it is pixelized, but it's still dangerously close to being Hentai; the only thing that keeps it out of that category is that it prioritizes humor over the sex. And even then, it might be too much, especially as one of the main characters looks dangerously young.
Same deal for Yuria 100 Shiki; it's first and foremost a sex comedy, but it's explicit enough that it should probably be reviewed. No sex actually occurs, but still.

Reaction Image RepositoryEdit: My recommendation was already found and cut-linked. Apologies.
edited 19th Apr '12 1:33:41 PM by LargoQuagmire
No, it wasn't. You didn't spell it correctly.
Whoops. It didn't come up when I used a regular search of the Wiki. Apologies again.
Anyway, I would like to recommend TenPoundsOfFetusAndMouthwash to be extensively looked at, because it's a Troll Fic that completely destroys the bounds of good taste, features heavy Unbirthing fetishism, and was mentioned in the original Content Policy thread as a fanfic that should probably not have a page here.

A little wiki walk introduced me to The Spiderses. While I'm not completely sure that we'll ban something on the basis of spider sex, it seems like Porn Without Plot.

Full Battle ModeSomeone sticked the rules up their ass by putting Hogwarts Exposed on the cutlist before coming here. Let's see...
Warning: The original story and its sporkings are NSFW, and include nudity of both adults and underage characters, pedophilia, child molestation, and underage sex.
Uhh... yeah... Where's the axe?

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."And that page also makes mention of The Girl Who Lived, which sounds just as suspect in the underage sex department. Not to mention that I don't know if we want to link to something that's also been heavily plagiarized, as the page flat-out states the fic is.
Continuing the MLP trend, I wish to submit Romance Reports for review. There is a plot, but there's also enough explicit sex that it's gonna come up in this thread sooner or later.
Ok, folowing off shima and HO's precedent, the unnamed work in this prior post is His Dark Materials, namely the end of the last book.
Obliviously I don't want this cut. I've seen enough hints that the review council deserves the benefit of the doubt that cooler heads will prevail, it's the guy with veto power and a tendency towards snap judgments that I don't trust. But at least I don't have to worry about getting thumped on accusation of facetious suggestions.
I personally think it's a bit more mature than YA even if it was sold as such...I know I didn't understand a lot of it until I was older, and I was an advanced reader. But the scene in question has supposedly raised Moral Guardians eyebrows before and the reason I said it's a test case is that it could establish whether context matters for preteen characters (refer to policy discussion thread).

Oh, that should be fine. It's YA.
Sigh, it's going to get found out anyway... I guess it's better that I do it then someone else...
Rance. The protagonist is a serial rapist (with Hidden Depths) that is a weird version of Chaotic Neutral◊. It manages to encompass most of the Rape Tropes, like the franchise page says, but it's also a Heroic Epic that's one of the Video Game Long-Runners and has had one continuous plot line.
I'll stop here. As a (somewhat lazy) Wiki Curator for that page and the pages for the older Rance games, I'm going to be vocal once you guys start debating it.

Full Battle ModeI have to agree with ABNDT's suggestion that Romance Reports needs to be looked at, although I'd add to his(?) submission a note that unlike some of the works that the P5 are looking at, this story really can't be judged by the first few chapters, as the story as a whole is more about the consequences of sex than the sex itself.

I think Oglaf should probably be looked at. The site's opening disclaimer says, "This comic started as an attempt to make pornography. It degenerated into sex comedy pretty much immediately." As it says, the focus is now on humour rather than porn, but there's still a lot of explicit sexual content. The comic strips are pretty evenly split between stand-alone jokes and story arcs, so there is a plot there.
To be honest I'm not entirely sure whether it falls foul of the guidelines or not - I guess maybe it's borderline? - which is why I'm asking that the panel have a look at it.
I think we decided that, if the focus is not porn, than it is not porn for our purposes. Just saying, so you don't start suggesting other similar works.
The works in this index: NSFWWebcomics
I see that some have been cut already, but other porn titles remain.
Isn't Oglaf a porn comedy? I thought that would classify as porn, as it was defined here.

Please, DEFEND works in the OTHER thread, as it says in the OP.
