The Toonami Thread

Hey, everybody. I know it's another week until we can all hang out again and watch our favorite shows (including the Mocking Show ), but I wish you all a Merry Christmas all the same. You stay classy, Toonami Thread. :)

We've just got a teaser for The Forge, which is most likely that upcoming 2019 TIE.

Very nice use of 2D animation, though I've no idea what to expect. From the title and teaser visuals, maybe TOM 5 finally gets destroyed and rebuilt as TOM 6?

What exactly IS the Forge?? Is it another special?

Yes, it's gonna be the next Total Immersion Event, after Countdown back in 2017.

Another thing, while the teaser is 2D-animated, the event itself will still be CG-animated as always.

Anyone know what's up with this stupid new schedule they're doing? Kai and Super at 8 eastern, then two hours of regular Adult Swim stuff before the actual Toonami starts?

Have you seen the news for the new schedule change? Toonami got shortened by an hour (Dragon Ball Z Kai and Samurai Jack were removed from the block) and has now been moved back and starts at 11:00 PM.

Stupid?

... Toonami starts at 11 now. That run of DBZ during prime time DOES NOT count as a Toonami broadcast.

Hey everyone. First off, Happy New Year.

I may or may not be late for the first Toonami of the new year; the family's going to see Aquaman tonight, and depending on which viewing we make it to, I might not be back home until close to 1 in the morning. (Yay?)

Luckily, the block's new schedule starts tonight, meaning I'd only truly be missing MHA and Mob (and whatever arguments get started over this part of the current arc in Super), but we'll see.

At any rate, I'll catch you all sometime later. Try not to get too rowdy without me!

I enjoyed Aquaman very much.

The DCCU finally got two good movies under their belt.

Isn't it amazing what DC can do when they take their time and don't try to rush things just to compete with Marvel?
