Here's a little something special of mine. It's AU, with no heavy shipping, and soon to feature some crossover-ish elements. Enjoy.
You have no idea how happy I am that at least someone on this site cares enough to post here.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Honestly, I'm a bit surprised there aren't more of us doing this sort of thing. Bleach has a very big fanbase.
Yeah, but apparently TV Tropes' local Bleach fanbase has practically zero interest in Bleach fanfics (excluding the Bleach RP linked above, which is technically dead BTW). Probably jaded by too many badfics, or something similar. If you don't believe me, just ask around in the main Bleach thread.
Anywya... Do you have any personal Bleach fanfic recommendations?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Personally, I'm somewhat fond of Chivalry, and I suppose Stranger Than Fiction isn't all that bad either, but y'know...

I'll give them a try later.
As for me:
- General: Senbonzakura, Byakuya's Helper (alternate reality one-shot), Lion's Loss.
- Crack Fics: The Birds and the Bees, Kenpachi Style, Uninvited Guests.
- Haremfics: Panther King of the Shinigami, Run Ichigo Run and the sequel The Hell Butterfly Effect (and, by the same author, but a Naruto fic, The Art of Pranking), To Love Zaraki Kenpachi, Kenpachi: Immortal Demon (a rewrite of Kenpachi: Warrior, Father, Lover [WARNING: broken link]).
Unfortunately, Kenpachi: Immortal Demon has apparently gone on hiatus after chapter 3, when the original product was 14 chapters long. Luckily, my habit of saving a copy of whatever story that I like means that I have a full backup of those original 14 chapters. If you want, I can send them to you via e-mail, or some other method.
EDIT: Just realized that I forgot to add the link for To Love Zaraki Kenpachi. Also, the link for Kenpachi: Immortal Demon has been broken for a few years due to the story and the author's account being deleted (whether it's due to the author's own decision or a result of one of the site administration's crackdowns is unknown); still, I'm keeping the link for posterity's sake.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yeah, that sounds interesting. E-mail's probably the best bet for that, so yeah, I'll PM you my address.
Fun fact: I've never actually read Uninvited Guests, but I have seen spoilers of it, and they greatly influenced the tone of an alt-universe bonus section within The Deadbeat Sleuths.
...You ought to read and review that, by the way. See, I threw out some pretty left-fieldish scene changes in the latest chapter, and I don't have a good grasp of what people thought of it yet. Every bit of input counts.
On another note, here's an interesting fanfic problem that arises from the premise of certain kinds of Bleach haremfics: In a case where Ichigo's harem is split between living humans in the Human World, Shinigami in Soul Society, and/or Arrancar in/from Hueco Mundo, how do you think such a setup could work out? Especially if said Shinigami were high-ranking division officers and thus have a lot of responsibilities to take care of?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Through very strict scheduling.
The Shinigami Women's Association could set up a think tank on it.
I don't see how scheduling would be helpful in allowing Ichigo to balance the obligations of his mundane life (family, lover(s) who are residents of the living world like him, studies, and later work) with maintain his romantic relationship(s) with people who live in other dimensions, who themselves have their own demon hunting-slash-psychopomp-slash-division administration jobs to be worried about it.
Then again, given how Shinigami are usually quite Long-Lived (apparently two or three centuries on average, bar violent death in the field), they might have different views on "long-distance" relationships.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I was mostly joking when I said that, but anyhow, "very long life = different views on relationships" is definitely plausible. Sure, we have no frame of reference for it in reality (yet), but hey, this is speculative fiction. That's just how it rolls.
Aizen versus Minato Arisoto. After he creates the Persona Skynet. Discuss.
Eheheheh, don't know the fic nor am I familiar with the Persona series. Sorry. ^^;
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Basically, in Persona 3, people shoot themselves in the head with a special gun and a monster comes out to use magic or a special ability or whatever. In Fairly English Story, Minato found himself facing an opponent who could trap him in waking dreams, effectively having the same mind-control-screwage-ish powers as Aizen. Minato promptly creates a new Persona (something only he can do), Skynet, the Global Defense System. Skynet allows Minato to hack into the security systems of the building they're in, so that he can use the cameras to see where his opponent really is. Because Skynet is a computer system/program, Minato's opponent can't catch it in a dream and manipulate it. Minato even lampshades it by thinking to himself "Ichigo, this is how you fight an opponent who can control your senses - link up with a third party that can't be controlled or manipulated."
So basically, it's "put pre-Hogyoku Aizen" against an opponent who has the perfect counter to his main tactic (sensory screwage), and watch him get his ass kicked as he tries to deal with having his biggest advantage taken away from him.

^O' course, he'll still have his scarily powerful kido, tactical mind (no matter how badly it was written, he still has one) and powerful contacts.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. Not to mention his very powerful Spirit Pressure, which is strong enough to block Soifon's special ability outright.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. There's also Remember The King and Inferno if you'd like your humor fix.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!I already read the former long ago, but the latter... No wonder Renji's so convinced that Kenpachi releasing his Bankai will "destroy" Soul Society!
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.So.... Aizen vs. Hazama vs. Priscilla vs. Hao, then... Notice a pattern?
The Day The Story Got Away From Me. I'm at Chapter 3, and already busting my guts from laughter.

Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams! This is what we call Crack Fic, BTW.
New topic: Anyone read a fic whose author decided to make up an actual zanpakuto for Nemu, Shikai and all?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus._De-lurks_
"You have to wait 24 hours before you can post"
...
Anyway, since we're free to pimp our works, here's a couple of pimp... Pimpations? Pimpages?
EDIT: Actually... there aren't, new accounts can't post external links. Ah, the trials and tribulations of the lurkers! I should obviously have registered months ago even if I never posted. Anyway, if you go to FFnet I'm there under Lanilen, got a crack fic called "Iron Chef Seireitei" and a Bleach/Fallout crossover called "The King's Key" I'd like to plug, hehe.
Speaking of crack, thanks for the recommendations here, The Day the Story Got Away From Me had me in TEARS laughing.
Now that I have that out of the system, and back to the new topic, I haven't seen much about Nemu and her Zanpakutō, for some reason it seems like Nanao and Isane get more "fan-made" ones; in the case of Isane is understandable since we've got its name at least. In the case of Nanao... Dunno, the glasses?
(Removed some links here pointing at other people's fics in FFnet, "The Book of Ise Nanao", "Doctor's Orders", and "Bleach hits Facebook", if you're feeing adventurous).
Why are so many good fics incomplete? Or now that I think about it, I probably won't notice if fics I hate are incomplete.

I've seen a few fics that are basically the same layout and all, the premise being that Ichigo kills Kenpachi during their first meeting and takes up the mantle of Division 11's captain. While an interesting thought to begin with, the way the few fics do it is just all wrong - Kenpachi gets a dying Take Up My Sword speech to Ichigo and tells him to become a good father to Yachiru, yada-yada-yada, Ichigo immediately takes up some of Kenpachi's Blood Knight and Axe-Crazy as well while being treated as The Cape.
In short, They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot. Discuss how such a premise should be developed?
