Post about how happy you are and the good things going in your life.
Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

Goodbye, clunky old Toshiba, and hel-LO sleek new Lenovo!
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeI just did one of my finals, and because the whole exam was just 'code a program so it does so-and-so' and I finished my program and it works, I know I definitely scored 100% on that exam.
I survived a suicidal trip through apocalyptic America and all I got was this lousy forum signatureMy partner referred to me in conversation with another as her best friend.
That really made my day.
My PTSD has been bothering my something awful these last couple of weeks and I was sure she'd be too creeped out to work with me anymore, but she's been an absolute rock.
We'd have a full-on bromance on the go, if she weren't female.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'That is awesome! You have the kind of friend I want to be someday.
My happiness/joy/contentment is that I was just talking to my parents, apologizing for being so behind on everything (am 20 and can't drive, never really finished school or got a GED, never been employed), and for how unless I get the job I've applied for, all my steps toward independence (community college, driving lessons) will be using up more money that they've earned and I don't deserve.
And my dad literally said, "Well, that's kind of why we earn it." They'll do anything to help me become a whole, competent person. It makes me want to work harder to get things for myself, because people who offer so much deserve to keep all of it.
So yesterday I finally remembered to ask my horse riding instructor about the old bicycle she had lying around. And, well, now I have a bike! Just needs a little bit of fixing up (brake adjustment, oil on the chain, rust scrubbed off) before I can start learning to ride it.

Took a friend of mine to a concert as a birthday present. I've seen the band loads of times, but my friend had never been to a single concert ever.
He had a great time. I had a fantastic time. Seeing my friend have a great time, and seeing him be so damn hyped all the way home, only made it better. He says he'd go with me again.
YES.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun. My oldest sister was here for Easter Weekend, and now she's returning home. I was very glad to spend time with her. :) She's one of the few members of my family who has a good sense of fun and outlook on life and is not a stick in the mud.
Update for today: I had a fantastically amazing day at the Lincoln Park Zoo. :)

“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollI had my doctor's appointment today, and she said I might have to shed a couple of pounds for my BMI, but other than that, everything looks very good. As a matter of fact, she said if I keep up the good work, I may only have to have an appointment like that every other year rather than every year. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.I and a friend of mine watched an old animation Freddie as FRO7 for laughs.... and laughs we had.
MY FAMILY IS GETTING A VAN ON WEDNESDAY. A VAN. No more trying to exist as a seven-person family with a single five-seat car anymore! We'll all be able to go to the same Mass together (if the non-Catholic brother wants to)! Family vacations without making the grandparents come along with their car! And if we keep our old car too, I'll be able to drive back and forth from college while other family members do other things!
Seriously, this is going to open up so many opportunities to us.
I am having so many feelings over the A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood trailer.
I'm just generally optimistic so I'm happy no matter what, I don't let life keep me down.
I love stories when animals choose their humans. The sweetest one I've read recently was Spud the Geology Kitten.
