Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

This adaptation I'm writing has some of the bets stuff I've ever written in it. Not perfect by any means, especially since it's only in it's first draft, but I'm very proud of myself. Cause like, I couldn't read until I was eight, and I didn't enjoy reading until I was in middle school, and now look at me! A real author (or I will be once it's published but eh).
Apparently this version of Hyde looks like a Jojo's character. According to people who have seen that anime and I guess understand it.
I now have a credit card and am able to make purchases I can't pay all at once, and now have some kit on the way for streaming (an Elgato capture card and a 4 input mixer with both ¼in and 3.5mm jacks)
Sorry to double post, but I just got fully caught up on Critical Role after more than a year of watching/listening. And the next campaign starts this Thursday, which I'm off of work for!

Today, I got back into the habit of checking my Discovery Queue on Steam. :D
It's something that I used to do (and looked forward to) every day, but have been neglecting lately, because I've been so focused on school and other things. I forgot how quick, yet fun and relaxing it is.
I didn't get any interesting games on my queue today, but maybe tomorrow!

I forgot this thread was here, so here's a few good things that have built up:
- My cousin is due a baby in May, so I get to teach it all about being a May baby
- I've been trying to go to the gym at least once a week for a few months, and I've also started abs workout classes, so I'm actually starting to lose my gut! Just need to fix my diet a bit more...
- After my whole team at work changing around me over the course of last year, the new team are wonderful people and going into work is a joy (apart from having to get up at what I consider an unreasonable time in the morning [actually not that unreasonable])

I am born into perfect time and affluence (that is, not rich but never lacking either) that I can always have either work or entertainment to occupy myself with. It's impossible for me to be bored for more than few hours. I love it.
That wouldn't have been possible without my parents. They are human and thus flawed, but they are socially functional and respected, while capable of loving child like me. That's why I can never get angry at them for too much and long. Fuck, they are putting up with the likes of me, you can't hate someone like that.
I just feel grateful for what I have.

To start off the New Year, I completed both of my jobs for the holiday season, and thus after a good dinner and night of pampering, I finally get to sleep in tomorrow after a week and a half. I feel like a king. :)
