Ridley and Ridley
I would like my character to be included, although I'd need to know if it would be possible from someone who knows how MUGEN works (that is, if it's going to be made in that). Here it is:
Weapon: Can summon various machines to do it's bidding
- Damage: 150%
- Defense: 125%
- Speed: 25%
Appearance: A robot hanging from the ceiling. Think Gla Dos but primarily black with lots of shiny green and red lights and buttons.
Okay, this doesn't really fit me, it's just an idea. The character itself wouldn't actually be able to move, so its special attacks involve summoning smaller bots to do it's bidding and use various keep away tactics.

- Mobility: 150%
- Appearance: He has Silver Hair and Blue Eyes. His hair is mostly straight for the most part, but over time, his hair gets messy. He dons a black shirt and blue jeans.
Notes:
- The Knife is just used for slashing in different angles, but it has short range.
- Low Defense and Average attack, but good speed.
Fighting Style: Kyousuke excels in Hit and Run attacks with his knife, since he is a mobile person. In direct combat, Kyousuke won't fare well due to his low defense (He only has a knife and his arms to block himself), but he can evade the enemy's attack by his speed. Kyousuke is able to perform chains of combos, but if the enemy can interrupt them, then it won't go well for Kyousuke.
Also, it would be good if there is music for Special Match ups. (I'm looking at you, Guilty Gear and Blaz Blue)

- Weapon: A large, bloodstained bonesaw and a single-shot crossbow.
- Stat Distribution:
- Damage: 125% *
- Defense:75%
- Speed:100%
- Vague Appearance: A modern-day surgeon/paramedic, complete with scrubs and surgical mask (and even a little mirror on the head).
- Can use a Bonesaw to slash and slice in slightly different ways (each way varying a little in terms of attack speed and damage).
- Can use a slower crossbow for a ranged attack that does a nice bit of damage (but can be somewhat easily flummoxed).
- When he does enough damage with the Bonesaw, his "Blood Meter" fills up and then he can do a combo that makes him inject himself with "Transfusaline" that reduces his already below-average Defense, but boosts Speed and Damage for a short while. (EDIT: This might count as a Super Mode)

I want my character to use large, slashing attacks that are kind of slow which cover like half the screen.
My character has an easier time blocking cause of his large shield and is mainly defensive, and is best on the offense by taking advantage of the range of his weapon to keep heavy comboers away or just blocking everything until the opponent falls under a slow enough delay to strike them while they are vulnerable. In order to make this a lot less tedious the strikes themselves are powerful but slow kinds that won't work well in combos. Well unless you're against a noob. In that case it's easier to just button mash anyway since the speed isn't that low. His defense is just average if you don't use his shield though.
Might use visual tricks by making the low guard, high guard, and middle guard all the same sprite.'''

Awesome Zombie
Nerdy, eccentric, and maybe a little ambitious, Awesome Zombie is surprisingly a fighter, and armed with a Magnum revolver in hand! Her heavy parka and silk scarf around her mouth make her look like she's hidden in her clothes, and they provide some decent defense. Be warned about her singing, and her appetite, especially.
- Weapon: Magnum Revolver / Psychic Powers
- Stat Distribution
- Damage: 190%
- Defense: 30%
- Speed: 80%
- Special Moves
- Reload: You need to keep track of your ammo, or not. Awesome Zombie can pistol whip foes if she chooses not to reload.
- Glomp: Awesome Zombie's bear hugs can make even professional wrestlers faint. Deals more damage to men.
- Shockwave: Awesome Zombie sends a vibration of psychic energy around herself.
- Cannibal: If she comes close enough, Awesome Zombie can bite her opponent to regain health.
- Special Qualities
- Flight: Awesome Zombie can hover in the air for a limited amount of time, and doesn't fall if she attacks in midair.
- Ammunition: Six shots, then you reload. If you don't reload, Awesome Zombie resorts to beating her opponent's head in with her gun. Sometimes, you'll get a "Lucky Shot", which is a critical hit.

I know this is a new thread with new rules, but could we at least try to stick to the original premise of us-with-preexisting-traits-exaggerated? Fun is one thing, but I think we're getting a little Sue-y up in here.
And maybe we should establish a cut-off number so this doesn't get out of hand.

My character is basically some variation of "person I want to be because (insert typical stuff they do here)" so...
I mean he does hold some of my traits in a more positive way, but he's mostly an ideal.

I think we should get the plot ready after our character's backstories/personalities/whatever are established so there's less of a chance for plot holes. Just "Edmania has to do with something in all the routes" is simple enough but we're not sure of what yet.

Okay, here's what I've got: My charcter is a robot created by someone looking for Edmania (perhaps another one of the playable characters, if anyone's up to it) to hunt down Edmania. I'm going to abandon the whole "hanging from the ceilng" thing since I figure it would be too difficult to implement, but the robot will still have a kind of hunched-over look. It still has little combat abilities of its own, and chooses to summon small bots to attack for it. It has a strange personality, and although it rarely speaks, when it does it usually says something odd. It is rather curious, but it knows little about its mission besides that it's to find Edmania.
