I was waiting for him to post again regarding whether or not he had decided to use a different concept, or choose something other than paperwork. Since it seems he won't, I suppose I'll take the initiative. Weeping Man, you're approved.

I'm a little hesitant to okay you for Imaizumi, truth be told. We're getting a new character with Reggie, and Zudak's moving over to play Natsuhi... talk to daltar. Vortex'll assign you.

I think you'll be better off in Fujiwara.

o Appearance: Slightly shorter than most girls her age; Thin build, but she carries a lot of strength in her legs. Has very long black hair, braided into a single strand, reaching to her lower back.

o Personality: Very energetic, but she's also rather clumsy, lacking any kind of real grace. She tends to trip... a lot. She's friendly enough, and can be intimidated by others who are overly forceful against her. She tends to act before thinking very much.

o Background: Has lived in Fujiwara for her whole life; Nothing remarkable to note.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Hakona has gray eyes and long silver hair extending half way down her back. She's rather skinny and has a nice chest (teehee).

Personality: Hakona has been a Puella Magi for more than six months at this time. Before becoming a Puella Magi, she was awfully lazy and didn't really believe in anything. Deep down, however she loves her best friend Suzu Tomoka. Hakona's parent's had died in a large traffic pile up when she was very young. This was around the time she was five. The Tomoka family took Hakona in and ended up getting raised by Suzu's parents. The two became like sisters, looking out for one another.

Once Hakona turned 15 and the school year started, her life finally changed. Suzu's father had suffered a heart attack, almost killing the man. Suzu, out of worry for her father, wished that he were well again. This was the first time Hakona witnessed the transformation of a Puella Magi.

Suzu began her fight against the witches. Suzu's habits began to change, her school work began to fall through, her entire life fell apart. She was out late at night and she began to lose her parents trust. Everything weighed down on her. Then it happened. The girl transforms in an alleyway, crying about how her life was completely ruined. Hakona had went after Suzu that night and there was nothing she could do. The witch barrier formed and Hakona could do nothing about it.

Kyubey then offered a contract for Hakona to fight and defeat her friend but she wouldn't have it. She made her wish which resulted in something catastrophic. Suzu's father had ended up dying without the girl able to make a contract. That was Hakona's wish. That Suzu had never contracted. Hakona now bears the same fate her friend once did. Hakona tried to fight and live a normal life with Suzu but it couldn't be done. One day Hakona had vanished, leaving her old life behind. She began to travel because if she remained home, she would not only put her family in danger, but Suzu in danger.

The girl keeps the dark secret of the Soul Gem to herself, not wanting people to suffer the same fate she has. The burden of knowing you're going to transform into such a monster isn't good information. Not at all. Nowadays Hakona keeps to her self, thinking that she could fix this even though in reality, she couldn't. She still had hope after all.

Magical Girl: Fill this one if your character is already a magical girl. You may start filling it with a regular girl, though it won't be made official and it's up to change until the contract is made.

Wish: "I wish that Suzu never contracted!" Wish derived special ability: Since her wish was to prevent an event, Hakona can project a circular field around her own person. Said field can reflect projectiles and push back in coming foes (has cool down time).

Weapon: A large chained pocket watch with spikes on the edge.

Magical Girl Costume: Hakona's costume consists of a silver neck brace that houses her Soul Gem. Her upper attire consists of a frilly white dress with chains hooking from the back of the neck brace down to her skirt. The skirt is rather large, made of chain mail that extends past her knees. Her feet are protected by well fitting steel boots.

Other: Hakona fights by swinging the flail about and hitting targets with precision aiming. The chain of the flail can extend and she can summon multiple flails at once, hitting the target repeatedly. In conjunction with her barrier projection, the flails can do some devastating damage.

• Gender: Female.
• Appearance: Visual pic.
• Personality: A shy immigrant girl with a somewhat of an aloof and antisocial personality. She likes to keep to herself and her fantasies, getting close to her family and a small number of friends. She's quite intelligent in certain fields but she can be out of touch with certain trends. As much as she likes to pretend she doesn't need friends she is always restless when isolated. She is overly idealistic and can get so caught up in her own world that she fails to realize the reality of the situation. She was born in the United States to a Catholic family which was always busy with both parents working until late in the day. When she had free time in school and in day cares as a youth, she often spent her time reading fantasy and science fiction novels or whatever interesting book she could find gaining an ambition to be an author.

• When she heard of the offer of the contract, she leapt at the chance to be a hero similar to those in her book while fulfilling her own dreams at the same time. Her performance in school dropped as she began to face the pressure of being a magical girl and she was thrown into shock when her parents moved to Japan a year ago.
• Wish: "I wish to understand things, to be enlightened about the world around me.
• Wish derived special ability: Is capable of understanding things with relatively little effort. For example she could easily operate complex machinery if given the chance.
• Weapon: A ray gun which deals out a stream of laser bolts when activated. This weapon needs to be tightly controlled as it will not stop it's assault unless deactivated so is particularly dangerous if knocked out of Vera's hands.
• Magical Girl Costume: Pictured here if it's acceptable.
• Other: She uses her ability to manipulate her weapon into something stronger depending on the situation. She strategically shapes her weapon depending on the situation.

Basically if she wished she could turn an object within her weight limitations into a simple shape (like a sword, club, or whip) for a sixth of her magic and a more complicated object (like a simple machine) for half her magic.

• Country of Origin: The United States of America
• Age: 15
• Gender: Female (duh)
• Appearance: 5'1", shoulder-length brown hair in twin braids, bright blue eyes and an athletic body.
• Personality: Energetic, outgoing and cheerful with a love for adventure, Alicia is a free spirit among free spirits; she loves to try out new things, and her companions may find it hard to keep up with her once she decides to go after something. She particularly loves traveling, and since her father is a businessman with customers across the globe, she follows him wherever he goes. This marks the third time she's been to Japan, and she's fairly fluent in the language (although some of the finer nuances are lost on her, and kanji confuses her to no end; she carries a small dictionary around to solve this problem). Besides exploring more of the country, however, she's also here for another purpose: to look for a friend of hers, Hateshinai Rei, who mysteriously disappeared from the internet about a year ago. (Alicia's in the wrong ward, of course, not that she has a choice in the matter)
• Backstory: Alicia's father, William Maxwell, met Hateshinai Eichi during their college days, and the two men have been fast friends ever since - William even traveled to Japan just to visit the Hateshinais, a couple months after Rei was born. Alicia first met Rei when she was 11, during her second trip to Japan; while there was a slight clash in personalities at first, the two girls eventually managed to get along and enjoy their time together. Additionally, they added each other on their online contact lists, and after Alicia returned to the United States they maintained regular contact for some time. Well, until Rei suddenly stopped logging in, that is. Alicia's been worried ever since.
  
  As for Alicia herself, there's little to say except that she's a city girl first and foremost (there are more things to do in the city), but she's also quite familiar with country life since she lives with her grandma during school vacations. You could even say that her life's been pretty much perfect... until now, that is.
• Magical Girl?: Not yet Yes
• Wish: "I wish Rei and Tomoko would reconcile with each other."
• Wish derived special ability: Something based on reconciliation. Coming soon~
• Weapon: Alicia can summon and use modern guns of various sorts, but her most common armament are two revolvers. Her guns do not run out of ammo and she can vary the strength of her bullets, but the recoil of the weapon increases to match. Due to her inexperience, she is currently unable to summon a mass of weapons like Mami or Rei.
• Magical Girl Costume: Basically this, with her Soul Gem set in the middle of the red bow on her chest.

I'm asking because daltar has yet to post anything saying this is open.

daltar is unsure whether or not s/he wants to jump in or not, and will continue to watch over things to see. daltar has told me that s/he doesn't want to be GM for the revival though.

Ah. I see. I guess I'll post the character that I made way back when that I still kind of like... Probably refine, and improve her, though...

Oh what the hey. I'm converting one of my characters to fit in.

Ciel Lan (her surname means "blue" in Chinese.), the Royal Blue Blader

• City:(Insert new city here)
• Origin: Singapore
• Age: 19
• Gender: Female.
• Appearance: Lightly tanned, with naturally dark, dark blue hair that is easily mistaken for black. Dark brown eyes that glow blue when transformed or using magic. She favours clothes that are easy to run in.
• Colour Code: Royal Blue
• Personality: A free spirit, she refuses to give up some of her freedoms. She unconditionally supports those she cares for. Loves running and parkour. Has some streaks of impulsive carelessness, which was the cause of the crippling injury that led to her making her Wish, but has been trying to be more careful even since, especially after her meguca classmate and friend accidentally discovered the secret of Soul Gems when she went on a Road Race at a reservoir and left her Gem inside her haversack, collapsing 100 meters out after leaving her 'Gem's range. Very protective of her boyfriend, she can be very scary when protecting him or his reputation.
• Wish: Having become crippled after a terrifying accident involving an escalator, she wished to restore her legs.
• Wish derived special ability: Shes Got Legs. Seriously. As a side-effect of the Wish, she has excellent balance and has become even faster as a sprinter, her meguca-boosted stamina allowing her to break normal human limitations if she really, really pushes herself. Her mobility is so good, she can even do walljumps. Has slightly-faster than average regeneration.
• Weapon: Weaponized rollerblade-like shoes. In battle, she "skates" on energized blades, and can actually skate on the air or up the walls for short stretches. The energized trails she leaves behind can damage things, and she can even swerve and powerslide to rip into enemies with the energy bursting from her 'blades. The shoes are reinforced enough for her to play the Kick Chick without hurting herself.
• Magical Girl Costume: A fancy blue rollerblading outfit with extra frills/fancies and a short skirt over shorts, and glowing white Tron Lines going all over it. She also dons a helmet with a cute "cat-eared" shape, and does not neglect her kneeguards, wristguards, and elbow pads. Her Soul Gem is on her forehead, partially protected by her helmet.
• Other: She's on holiday in Japan without her boyfriend, who's currently serving his NS back in Singapore. Currently owes her meguca friends back home a huge favor for asking them to protect her bf while she went overseas. Her bf knows her secret and supports her, and they are both understanding of each other's obligations and duties. Very, very unwilling to let anyone besides her boyfriend and bestest friends handle her gem directly. Currently takes full advantage of her tourist/holidaygoer angle to get into awkward places "for interesting photos for her collection", and centers her base of operations on her hotel room.
• Strengths: Superb mobility and speed, faster-than-average regeneration, superhuman leg strength, very willing to cooperate. Powerful melee damage. Powerful jumping ability sometimes mistaken for flight by newbies. Extensive experience makes her a seasoned veteran on the battlefield.
• Weaknesses: Impulsive, lack of decent ranged attacks, relatively low toughness, relatively weak upper-body strength in comparision to her legs. Can be merciless when confronted with some kinds of perceived weaknesses in others. She may overlook more severe flaws in her friends. Bad memories can bring about nasty bouts of PTSD. Has a thing for attractive eyes.
• #7 should give your imagination enough ideas on how Ciel came to be a position to Wish to restore her legs.
• This is Ciel's first mention, before she even got her name picked out. It's amazing how differently she behaves around her boyfriend when you compare it to how she's like in battle.
• Historical Outline (This timeline, numerous details and battle records not filled in): Contracted after a horrific accident involving an escalator at the age of 14. She became part of a school-clique of Magical Girls who proceeded to indulge in turf wars for Demon-Hunting Grounds with a rival clique from another school. Was taken in by the veteran known as the Red Musketeer who chose to be her mentor for a few months. D' Souza the Shanked was her first partner-in-arms and classmate, and was the first to discover the literal truth of the Soul Gems thanks to carelessness at a Road Race. Mentor taught her some really badass moves and inspired her to research all sorts of cool tricks to improve herself.
  • When she graduated with reasonable grades, she went for a Business School course at a polytechnic. Over the course of her diploma studies, her Mentor fell into despair yet retained enough willpower to "commit suicide" by means of Heroic Sacrifice. Soloing for a couple months, she ended up joining a CCA club where the girls were all meguca. Was one of the only three girls of said club to survive a brutal Demon wave generated as a result of a failure semester for the Design School where few students passed. At one point, she finds out the final fate of D'Souza the Shanked - KIA during a dangerous Demon attack in the city centre.
  • After Graduation, she spent a couple months in retail before quitting as the long work hours made it hard for her to go Demon hunting. Met her boyfriend when Demon Hunting nearly gone wrong had him overcome the influence of Demons long enough to throw a knife at them. Managed to initially start dating him without him being the wiser, He eventually figures out her secret when he catches her walljumping and transforming one starry late evening when she had to break off a date to go fight the Demons. Learns that Depression = Death when one of her Alumni Survivor polyfriends goes into despair out of jealousy over her success at getting a boyfriend and vanishes before her eyes.
  • Discovered the joy of the Things he could do with her Soul Gem to give her that utterly HAPPY high at the age of 18. Boyfriend called to serve NS. Boyfriend gets hurt during grenade accident in training. Nearly falls into the Despair Event Horizon but her boyfriend pulls her out by reminding her that he's still alive, damn it, and he needs her too. Ends up joining a sort-of-club with some other Magical Girls who set up a social network and pool e-mail/phone contacts and share various resources and intel and Remnants.
  • Wins a trip to Japan. Boyfriend now serving in Armor battalion, insists she have a proper holiday. Her newest colleagues agree, offer to keep an eye on her bf and make sure Demons don't kill him in exchange for intel, presents, and favours later. Winds up in Kaikin Ward at a posh hotel.
• Named Attacks (More will be revealed as the story progresses):
  1. Acceleration Art ~Lethal Impact - a high-speed technique that defies normal impact damage by inflicting clean cuts regardless if you can successfully hit the target just right when travelling fast enough. can be used to slice up large targets or instakill.
  2. Super Inazuma Kick - Cribbed from Gunbuster, used as a Dynamic Entry attack from a height.

• Age: 17
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Shizuko hair is long, black, and messy. Her eyes are red, and her body is emaciated. Her arms, legs, and fingers seem unnaturally long. She smells like she hasn’t washed in weeks.
• Personality: Shizuko is mistrustful and cynical. She does not speak unless she has to. She avoids other people whenever possible. She has no sense of morality and has no empathy.
• History: Grew up with a neglectful, at best, father, who, when he noticed her, would often beat her and her mother, when he noticed her at all. Eventually, he beat her mother to death, but got off on a technicality, and never saw any jail time. As such, Shizuko jumped at the chance to become a magical girl, and leave her old life behind.
• Magical Girl?: Yes.
  • Wish: For her father to never notice her again.
  • Wish derived special ability: She can make herself 'unnoticed'. She's still visible, just ignored.
  • Weapon: Knives, which she can retrieve from her sleeves.
  • Magical Girl Costume: A fancy black shirt with a red vest, and a black skirt with red stripes. Black gloves, and shoes with red stockings (Grade A Zettai Ryouiki).
