So I wore the Pikachu onesie a few posts up to a comic book shop-sponsored Halloween party - it didn't win me the costume contest ^note  "best overall" costume went to a couple who went as Bob and Linda Belcher - the costumes were good but I think 50% of it was that Linda really committed to being in character at all times, getting out her phone and showing pictures of her kids to everyone (really just stills from the show), plugging the fictional restaurant and generally hamming it up but I got a bunch of Star Wars stuff in a raffle, mainly figures - Giant Darth Maul, Rey and Finn are among my winnings, two smaller figure playsets in original packaging aren't pictured, and everything else you see is stuff I already had that I decided to put together as sort of a Star Wars shrine area in my room.

...Spandex was a mistake.

This is our new friend, Hero. He is a larger long haired male chihuahua mix. He is a wee bit skinny but when he fills out he will likely hit about ten pounds.

His tail looks so fluffy!

His tail is fluffy but there is a bit of motion blur there making it look fluffier in the photo from it wagging.

So I finally went into the woods with a camera.

Also my makeup skills need a -lot- of work.

From last night, here's my first attempt at cooking Ethiopian food. And it was quite good for a first try. And the tiramisu I had afterwards. :)

Last night, I finally completed the third chapter of my new book, the one that takes place in Japan. :) Even if it did almost take me all night. ^_^;; And on that note, here is the dinner and dessert I had to go with it. :)
