  • Complete Monster: Romani folklore is plagued with horrific monsters that embody every disease known to man, and this father-son duo is responsible for creating them:
    • The King of the Loçolici (humans cursed by Satan) once took a fancy to Ana, the queen of the Keshali. Rejected by Ana, he responded by hunting down her people and devouring them. When Ana agreed to marry him to save her people but still refused to have sex with him, the King drugged her and raped her. Goaded by his son, Melalo, he continuously forced himself on Ana, spawning horrible monsters that have plagued humanity ever since. Tired of this, the Keshali baked him a cake with dog and cat hairs that impregnated him with Poreskoro, the embodiment of The Black Death. With this attempt on his life, the King decided to divorce Ana, but only on the condition that she kept herself alive by drinking the blood of three of her own kind for all eternity, as once she dies, he will kill all Keshali once and for all.
    • Melalo is a two-headed bird born from the unholy union between the King of the Loçolici and Ana. He goaded his father into raping his own mother several times, creating monsters that cause diseases among humanity. He even took one of these, the hagfish-like Lilyi, as his own wife, breeding more disease demons into existence. He also tricked his own mother into impregnating herself with more disease deities in her separate attempts to both cure herself and sterilize herself. He is credited with every act of murder and rape mankind knows of, either by goading people or by possessing them himself. When not doing this, he enjoys tearing out human hearts with his own talons.

  • Nightmare Fuel: Some Romani populations in parts of Eastern Europe (particularly Slovakia and Romania) believe all the diseases and ailments that plague humanity can be traced back to an abusive and unnatural union between good and evil. The story goes that the King of the Loçolico (former humans twisted into demonic entities) became obsessed with Ana, a princess of the Keshalyi (good fairies). After she refused his advances, he started a genocidal war against the Keshalyi, forcing her to marry him to spare her people from utter annihilation. Understandably, she was reluctant to sleep with him, so he forced himself on her multiple times, resulting in a brood of horrifying children that would go on to cause illness among humans. While the King eventually agreed to divorce his wife, the ordeal she suffered harmed her so badly that she has to drink a dose of nymphs' blood every day in order to stay alive, and left her so traumatized that she scarcely ever leaves her isolated mountain castle.
  • The Woobie: Ana, the queen of the Keshali, caught the eye of the King of the Loçolici (humans cursed by Satan). She refused him, prompting him to hunt down her people and devour them. To protect her people, she agreed to marry him, but still had some dignity enough not to consummate their marriage. The King circumvented that fact by drugging her and raping her, producing the hateful Melalo, who then goaded his father into raping Ana more times; each time she bore a monstrosity that embodies a specific disease. She was also tricked by Melalo into impregnating herself with animals on separate attempts to cure herself and sterilize herself. With the attempted assassination of the King by Ana's fellow Keshali, he allowed her to divorce him but only if she kept herself immortal, drinking the blood of three of her kind forever. As soon as she dies, all Keshali will belong to the King and will be killed. Now, Ana lives as a recluse in the mountains, killing any encroachers with avalanches. Fortunately, she does her best to protect her worshippers from the evils she bore.
  • Woobie Species: The Keshali are nature spirits. Once, the King of the Loçolici (humans cursed by Satan) took a fancy to their queen, Ana. When she refused, he decided to hunt them down and eat them. Seeing the slaughter of her people, she agreed to marry the King, which led to the horrific multiple rapes that produced every disease known to man. Tired of their queen's suffering, the Keshali baked the King a cake made of cat and dog hairs that impregnated him with Poreskoro, the spirit of The Black Death. With this attempt on his life, the King agreed to divorce Ana, but only on the condition that she kept herself alive forever by drinking the blood of three of her own kind, and that every Keshali who reaches the age of 999 be handed over to the Loçolici to be devoured. As soon as she dies, all Keshali will belong to the king by default and he will use that right to exterminate them for once and for all. Now, the Keshali are mostly reclusive, living in the forests and mountains. They bless and curse humans as fit, sometimes warding off the disease demons and sometimes killing them with avalanches if they encroach on their domain.
