• Catharsis Factor:
  • Shinso and Bakugo's treatment during the Sports Festival. Given how both are even more insufferable than in canon their humiliating defeats at Izuku and Pyra's hands is utterly enjoyable. Shinso is reduced to a punching bag while Bakugo gets a Tiger Drop in the balls.
  • Aizawa receives the greatest "The Reason You Suck" Speech where Nezu calls him out on his Sadistic Teacher antics before kicking him out of U.A. in chapter 37.
  • Given how he was even more of a jealous bastard in his childhood than his canon self (going as far as trying to kill Shoto on the very day his brother arrived from the hospital) Dabi's getting curb-stomped by him during their fight at the Trainning Camp was one of the most cathartic moments of the story so far. It goes the extra mile for people who dislike how much of a one-dimensional psychopath Dabi has become, especially how a combination between Plot Armor and Ass Pull is the only reason he is still alive and kicking in the manga.
  • All for One's beatdown at the hands of Simon and Yui during the Kamino arc. Seeing the villain's Smug Super facade quickly falling apart upon facing an opponent who doesn't care about his taunts and can easily counter his Unskilled, but Strong status, not to mention his complete Villainous Breakdown when Simon steals Ragdoll and Yui's Quirks back from him, as well as when Nana, who is essentially Nana Shimura's reincarnation smugly showing up to mess up with him is utterly satisfying, especially for fans who hate how much a Flat Character All for One became since his introduction and defeat. Even his attempt to break All Might's spirit by revealing Tomura's true parentage falls flat on his face, since Nana is, for all effects and purposes, alive and kicking, and finally, he is unceremomiously knocked out by Ragdoll, wearing nothing but a steel chair.
  • Izuku giving Malos a massive No-Holds-Barred Beatdown in chapter 70. Given how much a petty and childish jackass Malos has been towards Izuku and his sisters, mocking their love, stealing Pyra and Mythra's memories and being an all around Smug Snake, Izuku and eventually Pneuma beating him up, trash-talking him and treating him as a joke is one of the most enjoyable moments of the story.
  • Shishikura's beatdown at the hands of Tenya during the License Exam. Given how much of a smug and self-rightous asshole the Shiketsu student has been acting since the exam started, not to mention acting like a Hero Killer fanboy with his "true and fake hero" nonsense while insulting Tensei and Izuku, seeing Tenya curb-stomping the meatball user is incredibly cathartic.
• Friendly Fandoms:
  • With Hero Academia D×D and My Hero Pokedamia. The authors are fans of each other's works and often exchange ideas for their stories. DinoCam1234 gave the idea for the Skate Derby during the Sports Festival while Zayden_Stormvoid is credited for the "Tiger Drop in the Groin" that Bakugo gets during the finals.
  • With Shadow_Overlord. Both are authors of interconnected stories that explore The Multiverse, and both take enjoyment in making characters like Aizawa, Shinso, and Nighteye getting Adaptational Karma for their atrocious behaviour in canon.
• Memetic Loser:
  • Shinso, to the point where he's acknowledged both by fans and In-Universe characters that he is one of the weakest characters in the story.
  • Dabi. In comparison to canon, the author portrays the evil Todoroki as a Big Bad Wannabe that easily gets his ass handed to him by anyone. Nero goes as far saying that even Shinso, who is already a major example of it as stated above, could beat Dabi up simply because he is not held together by hate and office staples.
  • All for One. His entire fight against Simon boils down to his Smug Snake attitude falling flat on his face and the supposed villain mastermind devolving into a tamper tantrum capable of putting Bakugo and Tomura's to shame. What really sells out how much of a loser he is? Yoichi saying that he is not as dangerous as everyone thinks he is, but because he is an overgrown manchild that could level an entire city while lashing out, which is exactly what happens when Simon overpowers him. Add insult to the injury, he is ultimately defeated not by All Might, or even Simon, who had been clearing the floor with the villain's face since the fight begun, but by Ragdoll, who bashes his head with a steel chair and easily knocks him out.
• Ron the Death Eater:
  • Aizawa goes from a Stern Teacher to a full-on Apathetic Sadist Teacher who is also Quirkist, completely irrational when it comes to anything that does not fit with his preconceived ideas, and severely lacking in personal hygiene. When he's fired from U.A. due to his misbehavior, he chooses to blame Izuku rather than accept he is to blame.
  • Shinso's use of Trash Talking in canon was simply the means he uses to trick people into triggering his Brainwashing Quirk. Here, he's shown as fully believing in the things he spews, being a Quirkist, and also being a Lazy Bum who chooses to blame U.A. for not accepting him in the Hero Course instead of accepting that he needs to train physically to achieve that.
  • Bakugo becomes a lot worse than his canon self, developing an almost murderous hatred of Blades, to the point that he thought nothing of beating Reiko Yagami almost to death just because she has a Blade.
