YMMV / Jekyll and Hyde (2015)

• Awesome Music:
  • The opening theme, scored by the same guys who did Sherlock.
  • The rock-esque riff that plays when Hyde kicks down a hotel room door in Episode 1.
• Cargo Ship: Max Utterson and his jam/marmalade jars has popped up a few times. Overlaps with Crack Pairing.
• Escapist Character: Series creator Charlie Higson mentions in the production notes that Hyde is "who we all think we are when we’re drunk."
• Narm:
  • The Eldritch Abomination the cult is trying to revive has the decidedly silly name of Lord Trash.
  • And MIO - Military Intelligence Other, supposedly a branch of the British Government with all the resources that entails - appears to solely consist of four guys in one office and a garage.
• Nightmare Fuel: Captain Dance's Body Horror and massacring Robert's family, among other things, was so scary for kids and parents that the show got into trouble for this.
• Portmanteau Couple Name: "Hella" for Hyde and Bella.
• Special Effects Failure: Hyde climbing down the outside of the Empire in Episode 2 is...uh...not great, to say the least.
