• Archive Panic: He has over six hundred fanfics on his FanFiction profile alone, and over seven thousand deviations on DeviantArt.
• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • It's kind of hard to read stories that paint One-Shot Wren in a positive light, such as "Wild West Wren" and "The Champion's Challenge", knowing what we know about him in SMG4 Movie: Western Spaghetti. Ditto for any and every drawing James made that depict Wren in a positive light, like this one.
  • It's hard to read "Peach's Rocket Escape", knowing that she wouldn't get the chance to do that in the SMG4 series, due to her transformation into a monster from the chasm she was stuck under.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: In "Tari and the Wishing Star", a story inspired by a tweet by SMG4, Tari wishes that the show not only doesn't kill her off, but gives her a redesign. Two days after the story, she would indeed get an upgrade, so you could say the wishing star pulled through.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • He’s predicted quite a few things in his SMG4 fanfics.
    • "Ghost SMG3 & The Axol Menace" featured an evil alternate universe Axol as the main antagonist. Then we actually would get an evil Axol about three months later in the Genesis Arc, courtesy of Ax0l.
    • Speaking of SMG3, back when he was a Mario recolor, a lot of James' drawings of the character depicted him in a purple color scheme, rather than the dark blue coloration his canon portrayal is known for. Flash forward to his redesign in 2022, and his color scheme has now been made more purple.
    • In "Nothing To Fear, Meggy", set during the events of the Lawsuit Arc, a throwaway line suggests Funky Kong is playing the role of Lawyer Kong. Come the arc's finale, we find out that Lawyer Kong really is Funky Kong.
    • In a case of one SMG4 fan project predicting another, MetroPro536 made this picture of Meggy and Desti referencing "Don’t Hug Me I’m Mario" a whopping two days after James' story based on that episode, also with Meggy and Desti as the main characters.^note Although one key difference is that the Desti model used for the picture is her custom human model made by Wing Fury and C_art, while the Desti in James' story is clearly an Octoling, as evidenced by both the narration describing her as such and the illustration using her distinct Octoling hair.
    • Tari sees through and shatters Dr. Sheridan's illusion while stuck in a Lotus-Eater Machine in "The Madness of Doctor Sheridan", and eventually would do the same with One-Shot Wren's in SMG4 Movie: Western Spaghetti.
    • Mario threatens to leak SMG4's search history in "SMG4 and the Tunnel of Doom Challenge". Then he actually does it in the SMG4 Crew video "Mario Reacts To SMG4's Browser History".
  • It's not just SMG4-related things he accurately predicts either.
    • His drawing of Big the Cat as a crime lord is eerily similar to this image in a Sonic-themed calender, which was released later.
    • One of his stories depicts Tifa Lockhart playing the piano in a sexy outfit (complete with illustration), before Final Fantasy VII Rebirth made it canon.
• Unexpected Character:
  • It's rather hard to guess that the culprit behind Twitter's impending shutdown in "SMG4's Twitter Crisis" would be EM64, a character from OnyxKing's videos.
  • Zelus and War Marie making appearances in "Starved Eggman's Turkey Craze" was also unexpected.
  • The costumed perpetrators in "Pooh and Spaghetti"? The SMG4 character Enzo and a brainwashed Slender Man.
  • Enzo gets to be the surprise mastermind once again in "Santa Mario Wants Mario's Liver". However, there's another Unexpected Character added to the pile: Santa Mario was Mr. Incredible all along; specifically, his villainous incarnation from "Uncanny Mr Mario".
