• Broken Base: While the IIconics are seen as a good tag team, and their ring skills aren't in question - the prissy, girly antics were divisive as soon as they showed up on NXT. Half the base likes them, feeling the team plays the characters well. Others wish for something more original - see They Copied It, So It Sucks! below.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Jessie McKay had the habit of becoming the darkhorse of whatever promotion she wrestled for - due to her beauty, charm and talent in the ring.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Ember Moon debuting against Billie Kay is hilarious considering her SHIMMER debut was also against the same woman - with the face/heel roles reversed.
  • When asked if the IIconics were ready for the main roster, Triple H commented that they were almost there. The two got breast implants shortly after, and then debuted on the main roster - leading to many fans joking that was what he was referring to.
• Les Yay: She and Peyton Royce seem to have a very close partnership, which stems from the two having gone to school together in real life.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Many .gifs have been made of her rolling her eyes or looking disdainful of something.
  • "You gotta be JOKING me!" Debuting in a post-elimination Royal Rumble 2019 interview, her delivery of the line (which made interviewer Cathy Kelley and Peyton corpse instantaneously) made it catch on like wildfire, turning a one-off line into her new Catchphrase.
  • Her strange grammar choices; she once asked Kelley if she "went to journalism" (meaning journalism school), and described the name of the official wrestling subreddit (r/SquaredCircle) as "not even a real Internet".
  • HEY KAYLA
• Suspiciously Similar Song: Her entrance theme "Femme Fatale" has some similarities to the "Desert Island 4" soundtrack from Croc: Legend Of The Gobbos. Most likely by coincidence.
• Testosterone Brigade: Inevitably on the indies, due to her being both a good wrestler and having the 'Diva Look'. She was frequently a hit with the male fans at SHIMMER after parties.
• They Copied It, So It Sucks!: Her team with Peyton has attracted some criticism for essentially being an Australian version of LayCool, though of course time will tell if they can transcend this.
• Unnecessary Makeover: Defied by Billie herself. When she got her second breast enhancement surgery, she responded to criticisms by saying that the surgery was for herself.
