  • Anvilicious: Can't get more Anvilicious than hundreds of people dead; of course, this is the reason flying becomes safer.
  • Friendly Fandoms: With Mayday; in fact, not only do many his videos share titles with Mayday episodes, but also footage!note
  • Funny Moments:
    • In "Phantom Culprit", the pilots are concerned that the doors aren't opening after they land... until they realize they forgot to depressurize the plane.
    • "Radio Silence" focuses on northwest Airlines Flight 188, which didn't have any major incident... aside from arriving an hour late due to overshooting the airport by 150 miles thanks to the pilots becoming very distracted.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: His two-part video on the DC-10 cargo door blowouts is this, thanks to the Boeing 737 MAX having a design flaw that was covered up, leading to two crashes, 347 deaths (the exact same as the second DC-10 crash), and a grounding for nearly a year.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • The captain of US Airways Flight 1549 talking about the great-view of the Hudson, which becomes rather funny as the plane made an emergency landing there a bit later. Justified as that's the actual transcript of the CVR.
    • The hijackers of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 wanted to seek refuge in Australia... only to be among the people who died in the crash.
  • Older Than They Think: Allec wasn't the first one who recreated incidents in FS2004.
  • Paranoia Fuel:
    • The Partnair 394 episode states how the investigation into the crash revealed an international black market for counterfeit parts, not approved for use on aircraft but were polished and came with fake certificates as if they were allowed. And it wasn't just limited to small airlines like Partnair, in fact, even Air Force frickin' One was found to have possibly contained contaminated parts at one point. If the U.S. air force itself couldn't escape it, whose to say one flight you were on didn't also have parts on it?
  • The Woobie: Peter Nielsen, if the comments of "Deadly Crossroads" indicate; not only did he inadvertently caused the collision, Vitaly Kaloyev, who was the father of one of the children on the Russian flight, murdered him just over a year and a half after the accident.
