Squire is a British youtuber making various videos about and in the game War Thunder, mostly parodying vehicle spotlight, tips and tricks, and history videos, though occasionally doing staged skits. In these videos, he goes into the details of (primarily British) vehicles and the tactics to use them effectively, though not always very successful and sometimes blatantly useless, mostly while playing up the stereotypical British gentleman. He always displays a comical favouritism towards British vehicles, very rarely admitting the superiority of foreign ones or blaming the flaw to the situation. Even when admitting, he'll note that it is not important and that the British are just not equipped for it. In the skits he often plays a similar role though more in-universe as the commander of a tank in a perilous situation. Occasionally he plays other games like Verdun and Battlefield 1

Tropes found in Squire's videos:

  • Arch-Enemy: Those pesky Germans.
  • Blatant Lies: The suggested superiority of the showcased British aircraft is... doubtful, to say the least.
  • Catchphrase: Yeeess...
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: His tactic to evade enemy fighters by flying low proves only successful once, by the second time he has three on his tail and British bombers aren't know for their excellent anti-aircraft capabilities.
  • Death from Above: As War Thunder is pretty realistic, it's pretty obvious that any attack from above is preferable.
  • Gratuitous German: Sometimes the crews of the German counterparts get a few speaking roles, however brief.
  • Large Ham: How dare you suggest there is something better than the truly one and only Spitfire?!?!
  • Quintessential British Gentleman: The best one. No one loves king and country (and tea) more than squire.
  • Take That!: Mostly directed at Herman Goering. Very period appropriate.
