"Hello, and welcome to Judge Of Character! I'm your host, Steve...
Opening line of the show.
Judge Of Character is a Video Review Show that focuses on fictional characters instead of the works they originate from. Instead of reviewing say, a Batman comic, Steve reviews Batman himself. The show does this by looking at different aspects of the character to find out what makes them memorable and why.
The show originally premiered on blip, on July 1st, 2013, where it ran for almost a year. The show was then removed from blip and now resides on YouTube here.
A new episode is posted every two weeks.
This show provides examples of:
- Accentuate the Negative: Averted for the most part. Steve rarely has anything overly negative to say about a character, and if he does, it's usually overshadowed by the positive.
- Acting for Two
- The Cameo: A few people have dropped by, either to help or annoy Steve. One example is The Diva dropping in to review The Phantom of the Opera.
- Jekyll & Hyde: Subject of a mini-arc
- Only in Florida: From the Phantom of the Opera episode:Diva: Aren't you a little concerned about the fact that a demon has manifested in your apartment as a ball of flame?Steve: Miss Diva, this is Florida, the world capital of naked and crazy...Besides, I always figured there was a portal to Hell somewhere around here.
- Shared Universe: Because of the cameos, he's part of the Reviewaverse.
