Scooby-Doo! Big Air is a series of Adobe Flash games based on the Scooby-Doo franchise. Scooby-Doo! Big Air was released in 2006 note , while Scooby-Doo! Big Air 2: Curse of the Half Pipe and Scooby-Doo! Big Air Snow Show were released in 2007. You play as Scooby (or potentially Shaggy/the Mystery Machine) skating on a halfpipe. You have to hold up while ascending to gain height and down while descending to gain speed, but if you can't go above your previous best height, the jump ends. Once all three jumps have been performed, the game is over and you can see your final score. The second game also has an arcade mode where you can try your luck to get an item that may help/hinder you and a timed mode that ends once you run out of time instead.

This game provides examples of:

  • End-Game Results Screen: Once you've finished playing, the game shows your heights across all three jumps and provides a congratulatory message based on how well you did.
  • Gameplay and Story Segregation: The 2900 message reads "Try not to fall off your board", even if you're playing as the Mystery Machine.
  • Kilroy Was Here: The 1700 message reads "Old Man Jenkins was here", while 4100 reads "Shaggy was here".
  • Mission-Pack Sequel: The only things each game changes are the playable characters, settings, and minor graphical elements. The second game adds power-ups and different modes, but the core gameplay is always identical.
  • Poison Mushroom: Three snack items that show up in 2's arcade mode hinder you. These include Invisibility (makes you invisible, but you can still control your jump), Explosion (stops any vertical momentum you had and fires you downwards) and Freeze (freezes your character and removes control for a bit).
  • Rainbow Speak: A few important words and mode names are marked in green in 2's How to Play.
  • Timed Mission: The Timed mode in 2 gives you 40 seconds to go as high as possible. There are items that can freeze the timer for 10 seconds or grant another 20 seconds.
