LUNA: The Shadow Dust is a Point-and-Click Puzzle Game by Lantern Studio.

The game casts you as a young boy who has just fallen into a mysterious dark world, with his only companion being a small white flame. He comes to a door in the middle of the field and decides to open it. At first it opens to nothing, but once the flame lights up a lantern above the door, a massive tower assembles before the boy's eyes. With no other options, he decides to ascend the tower. Thus begins the boy's adventure.

The game was funded on Kickstarter on May 2nd, 2016. It was released on February 13th, 2020.

LUNA: The Shadow Dust contains examples of:

  • Black Bead Eyes: The boy has these.
  • Blush Stickers: The boy has these on his cheeks. They're half-obscured by his hat.
  • Living Drawing: In the third floor, when the boy solves the puzzle, the paintings on the other walls come to life, changing colour, inverting, and/or moving from frame to frame.
  • Rebus Bubble: Whenever the boy tries to open a locked door, a thought bubble with a padlock appears over his head as he wonders how to unlock it.
  • Teamwork Puzzle Game: The cat-like creature that accompanies the boy through the game can help in solving puzzles by being able to squeeze into spaces too small for the boy to get into.
