Name: Lola Pop

Media: ARMS

Lola Pop is a downloadable character in the game ARMS for the Nintendo Switch. She was released in the Version 3.0.0 update on the 13th of September, 2017.

Here is Lola Pop's information, listed on her official ARMS character page:

Affiliation: Street performers worldwide

Height: 173 cm

Weight: 77.7 kg (inflated)

Age: 23

Hobbies: Seeking applause, eating candy

Her stats from the same website are as follows:

Size: 4/5

Arm Girth: 3/5

Speed: 3/5

Jumping: 4/5

Inflatability: 5/5

Sweetness: 5/5

Her appearance is mostly likened to that of a human clown, with some exceptions. One of these exceptions is her spiral eyes which are constant throughout all people with the ARMS trait, a trait that causes one's arms to transform into strands of something stretchy and curly. Lola also has this trait, of course, her arms being made of what seems like pink and orange sugary candy. The last anomaly that separates her from a normal human is her hair, which seems to be made entirely of hard orange and red candy, similar in appearance to a lollipop (hence the name Lola Pop). Her clothing is very clown-centric, with features such as oversized billowy yellow pants (with overall-type straps), the left leg having a polka-dot pattern and the right leg being striped. She wears a blue athletic shirt with her logo on it (seemingly a stylized version of the top half of her own face + hair), circular purple earrings, oversized red sneakers similar to clown shoes, a blue headband, a red clown nose, and a yellow mask with red eye highlights on the top half of her face. (This mask is what allows people with the ARMS trait to properly take control of their arms.)

From her list of quotes, her personality seems mostly bubbly and silly (like a clown, of course). This is shown by some of her quotes just being random babbling sounds, and others being animal noises. However, she also acts like a sort of ringleader/magician at times, shown by quotes like 'Abracadabra!' and 'Ladies and gentlemen!' This matches up perfectly with the fact that she is in the clown business. So a silly ringleader is how I'll play her in the forums! (Although, probably not to a Funtime Foxy extent. He's...he's shouty.)

This is Lola's backstory as listed on her official ARMS character page, mentioned earlier:

"This sweet-dreamin' clown has traveled the world as a street performer. With her well-honed clowning skills, she's developed crowd-pleasing maneuvers that confuse and confound opponents! She hopes to one day open a circus of her very own, and the prize money from winning the Grand Prix could make those dreams come true!"

Lola's special ability is being able to inflate her body into almost a perfect ball (having some controversy with viewers for obvious reasons) while shielding, providing added defense. While doing this, she can immediately cancel into a dash or a high jump. If she inflates in the air while holding dash, she will shield herself for a moment before quickly dropping to the ground and bouncing. Lola is also the only character who can move while blocking, and one of only two characters who can block in the air (the other being Dr. Coyle).

Lola's three standard ARMS weapons are the Funchuk, the Biffler, and the Clapback. (I may edit this section later to include individual info about these arms, but for now you can just access their wiki pages.)

Lola's home stage is Via Dolce and she is voiced by Soness Stevens. Lola's signature forms two lollipops, further hinting at her candy theme.

Lola has three alternative costumes: Rainbow, Orange, and Dark Brown (most likely representing rainbow candy, orange/lime candy, and chocolate respectively). Lola's default costume is called Blue.

The relationship between Lola and ARMS announcer Biff is unclear, as in one piece of promotional art Biff is shown to be annoyed by Lola (as she has a bakery directly across the street from his). However, Biff is also shown to support and help out Lola in other promotional art, and one of Lola's standard arms (the Biffler) has Biff's logo on it. Perhaps he just doesn't like her bakery.

My first avatars on TV Tropes. They're all impossible shapes (from top to bottom: Penrose Triangle, Impossible Cube, Impossible Stairs, Escher Waterfall), and it's clear that back then I hadn't really heard of avatar forum games because these would make no sense there. I won't be using these any time soon, but they're a humble reminder of my beginnings, so I won't be deleting them either.

(Also, the Penrose Triangle is where I got my username!)

Name: Bon-Bon

Media: Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location

Bon-Bon is a character from the fifth game in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, taking the role of the Funtime Freddy animatronic's Bonnie-based hand puppet in Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. You first find them on Night 2 in the Breaker Room where you use their voice lines to calm down Freddy and stop him from fucking murdering your face off. On Night 3, after deactivating Freddy, you must deactivate Bon-Bon as well by clicking their button. But oh shit, then they start to levitate like a magicagiciamaker, hiding behind Freddy if you try to get them at the wrong time and killing you if you don't keep an eye on them for long enough. An official FNaF book called The Freddy Files has confirmed that Bon-Bon is a male character even though they are voiced by a female (Becky Shrimpton), so that's nice to know. If one looks at the appearance of Ennard, the mesh of the endoskeletons of every animatronic in the CBEaR facility, one of Bon-Bon's eyes is visible on his waist, confirming that he is part of Ennard.

I think I'd play him as a cute little guy who's sick of everyone's shit.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/old_man_consequences.png

Name: Old Man Consequences

Media: Five Nights at Freddy's World, Ultimate Custom Night

Old Man Consequences is a character originating from the Five Nights at Freddy's RPG spin-off Five Nights at Freddy's World. He is also commonly referred to as 'OMC'.

His appearance is most commonly accepted to be very similar to that of a crocodile-alligator, except he is glowing entirely red, not unlike anything else in his little world. Other interpretations include him being made entirely of wires, or him just being Withered Bonnie wearing a cap. He is always seen fishing in an equally red pond to his own body.

The only way to access him in Five Nights at Freddy's World is by going through false walls in the glitch layers and making your way to the fourth layer (which Adventure Fredbear warns you about early in the game). When you enter the fourth layer, your character will become a red pixelated Freddy Fazbear, who will be trapped in a small red world of trees, a pond, and Old Man Consequences himself. When approached, Old Man Consequences will say the following lines:

"I'm sorry to say that you have gone too deep into the code. There is no way back out."

"My name is Old Man Consequences. Come have a seat, and let's fish for a while. You have no where else to go."

After this, his text box will simply show 'the end', and Freddy will become stuck in place.

Alternatively, the player can choose to not approach Old Man Consequences and instead wade into his lake by pressing the A and D keys while standing above it. Freddy will begin to sink into the lake before a rather long 'cutscene' plays, showing the same pixelated Freddy (now white in colour) falling infinitely. After this, we can see a tall figure hugging two smaller figures in front of a flashing screen. This has been theorized to either be Scott Cawthon and his two sons, or Michael Afton and his two younger siblings, Elizabeth Afton and the Bite of '83 victim. The game will not close at this point unless you press the escape key, close it in Task Manager, or press F2.

Old Man Consequences was later revealed as a character for Ultimate Custom Night in the last update of the original grid roster. He was programmed at 16% on the Programming Characters bar, sporting this mysterious phrase in place of his mechanic:

Better catch a fish.

However, when Ultimate Custom Night was released, he was given an actual mechanic:

Use the C button to catch a fish when his mini game appears, otherwise he will lock your monitor for a short time.

If the player sets Old Man Consequences' AI level to 1 and catches his fish when it appears, they will be given a secret where the infinitely falling Freddy is shown once more. Afterwards, they will be once again transported to the 4th layer of Five Nights at Freddy's World, where they can speak to Old Man Consequences again. This is what he has to say:

"Come and sit with me a while."

"Leave the demon to his demons. Rest your own soul. There is nothing else."

There is also an odd ambiance in the background, which some people have decoded to supposedly be someone screaming "Mike", "I hate", and "Henry" repeatedly. This has also led people to believe that the demon mentioned here is William Afton in hell.

Wading into the lake in this minigame causes your game to crash.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dee_dee_5.png

Name: Dee Dee

Media: Five Nights at Freddy's World, Ultimate Custom Night

Dee Dee is an NPC originating in Five Nights at Freddy's World, the lone RPG of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. She is almost a complete recolour of Adventure JJ, a playable Adventure version of the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 secret character JJ, besides some tweaks. She has pink and yellow stripes on her hat and shirt, purple pants, brown shoes, a single large purple button as opposed to Balloon Boy and JJ having two buttons each, and a propellor with three large pink blades and a huge yellow sphere at the top appearing very different to Balloon Boy and JJ's propellors, which are smaller with four blades each. (Talk about a run-on sentence.) She has pink cheeks, a pink nose, green eyes, and light brown hair. She also holds a fishing rod in her right hand, which alludes to her purpose in FNaF World. She is located right near the spawn point in the game's first world, Fazbear Hills, along with two other NPCs titled Lolbit and Mendo. Upon interacting with her, she offers to have you play a fishing game called Dee Dee's Fishing Hole for the price of 10 Faztokens, the game's only currency. If you accept, you will control Adventure Freddy in a boat above the fishing hole, where you use a plunger to catch fish. The further down the fish are, the more Faztokens they are worth. Orange fishes are worth 1 Faztoken, green fishes are worth 2 Faztokens, purple fishes are worth 5 Faztokens, blue fishes are worth 10 Faztokens, pink fishes are worth 20 Faztokens, yellow fishes are worth 50 Faztokens, and a large white pearl on the bottom of the lake is worth 100 Faztokens. Catching the pearl five times earns you the Pearl Byte, which gradually regenerates health while in battle. After catching something in the game, Dee Dee will disappear for a while as to prevent constant Faztoken farming. An animation of a swimming turtle can be found in the FNaF World files, implying that a turtle was originally part of Dee Dee's fishing minigame.

A NEW IRRITATION APPROACHES!

Dee Dee has recently appeared for a second time in Ultimate Custom Night as the 51st character on the roster. She is the first character to not be customizable unless you use the 'DD Repel' power up earned after death, which prevents her from appearing for one night. Her mechanic is as follows, appearing in her reveal teaser:

Dee Dee can appear at random and add a new character to your night, set to an unknown difficulty.

This reveal received a fair amount of backlash from people excited for UCN due to its highly RNG-based mechanic and the apparent inability to disable Dee Dee, but this did not sway creator Scott Cawthon, who kept her in the game and uncustomizable. Then he decided to make the game even harder, and began to add more characters for Dee Dee to summon that weren't on the roster. He revealed two extra character slots at first with the subtitle 'Things get worse.' and then filled in one with RWQFSFASXC/Shadow Bonnie from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Afterwards, he filled in the second slot with Plushtrap from Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and added a third extra slot with the subtitle 'Things get much worse.' At this point, he announced on Steam that he would be adding new characters every day until release, without exception. The third slot was filled in with Nightmare Chica from Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and three new slots were added along with the subtitle 'Things get much, much worse.' These slots were then filled in with these characters in this order: Bonnet, Minireena 2, and Funtime Lolbit, all from FNaF Sister Location Custom Night. This update also added a final slot and the subtitle 'Things get much, much, much worse.' This slot was later filled in with Fredbear before the site went black (although he turned out to be a secret character and not a Dee Dee character). These extra characters are summoned by a version of Dee Dee in black and white, who appears to be named 'XOR' in the files.

Before summoning a character, Dee Dee will sing one of two rhyming songs:

Uh oh, how unfortunate! Uh oh, how unfortunate! I know how much you like to fight, so I'll add a new problem to your night!

Uh oh, how unfortunate! Uh oh, how unfortunate! I'm gonna do a sneaky thing, and throw a new contender in the ring!

After this, the A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES alert from Five Nights at Freddy's World will appear, signifying a new character's arrival.

Interestingly, Dee Dee keeps her design from Five Nights at Freddy's World in Ultimate Custom Night, even though Lolbit changed to a more fitting Funtime design in both FNaF Sister Location Custom Night and Ultimate Custom Night. Additionally, there is a bit of confusion surrounding the proper spelling of Dee Dee's name, as in Five Nights at Freddy's World she was referred to as 'DeeDee' while in Ultimate Custom Night she is referred to as 'Dee Dee'.
