Trivia / Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed

• Content Leak:
  • The Japanese names of the playable party members were all datamined after the third wave of DLC was released for 3 (Matthew, "Ei" (A in English), "Nicole" (Nikol in English), "Kagiroi" (Glimmer in English), Shulk, and Rex).
  • All of the cutscene names were datamined months before Future Redeemed released, though most of them were vague enough to keep key plot details from being leaked.
• Meme Acknowledgement:
  • Rex says "I like your attitude, kiddo," and "I'll show them a thing or three," in the trailer, no doubt as a reference to his memetic battle quotes. Likewise, one of Shulk's quotes in the Hero Roster menu is "I'm not really feeling it".
  • The official Nintendo UK Twitter account recognized the "I'm feeling full of beans!" meme, clarifying that it is indeed an actual British phrase and not made up for Xenoblade Chronicles.
• Role Reprise:
  • Adam Howden and Shintarō Asanuma come back to voice Shulk once more, while in the Japanese version, Hiro Shimono returns as the voice of Rex.
  • Blake Ritson reprises his role as Alvis - or more specifically, his Literal Split Personality in the form of Alpha.
• Special Thanks: Interestingly, Bandai Namco is given one of these in the credits. The references to Xenosaga in the form of Vector Industries's logo on a Radio which references Dmitri Yuriev might be the reason for this.
• Time-Shifted Actor: In the English dub, Rex is now voiced by Fergus O'Donnell instead of Al Weaver, reflecting how he's gotten older than he is in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
• You Look Familiar: All cases of intentional casting, given their parentage:
  • Glimmer's Japanese voice actress is Shino Shimoji, the voice of Pyra and Mythra in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
  • Panacea's Japanese voice actress is Akeno Watanabe, the voice of Sharla in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and Monica in 3.
  • Linka's Japanese voice actress is Ryō Hirohashi, the voice of Pandoria in 2.
