• Approval of God: bbpanzu seems to approve of the Sky Remanifested mod, originally a Psych Engine fan port of the original mod, given that he shows up in a cover of "Challeng-Edd" from that mod taking the place of Eduardo.
• Bury Your Art: For a time, bbpanzu heavily regretted making this mod due to the controversy and drama surrounding the mod itself and Sky's creator. bbpanzu took the mod down and even went as far as to ask the admins on Funkipedia to remove Sky's page, and the admins on GameBanana began deleting any mods featuring Sky out of respect to his decision. Both events would be later retracted, with the mod being reuploaded on its one year anniversary, and the Funkipedia page being brought back weeks before.
• Fanwork Ban: Content involving Sky was forbidden from Gamebanana after the mod's takedown. This lasted until the mod was put back up, and the ban was lifted.
• Follow the Leader: Since the mod's initial removal, many mod creators have created their own fangirl characters in a similar vein to Sky to popularize on it's success, such as Vs. Beepie, Vs Cloud, and Fangirl Frenzy.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Initially since April 25, 2021, the mod had been deleted off of GameBanana.^note The reason posted on the mod page at the time was "i ruined her life :/", with the later re-release mod page going into detail. This hasn't stopped people from posting mirrors of the mod onto other websites, however.
• Referenced by...: Sky and her mod are featured in Friday Night Funkin' Logic, as one of the mod characters Player first encounters. However, due to GameToons wanting their videos to be advertiser friendly, the scene where Girlfriend is crucified to a wooden plank is replaced with her in handcuffs on the speaker.^note It should be noted that the video was released less than a month after bbpanzu deleted the mod. Sky returns in the episode “Boyfriend Gets A Fan Club” alongside Sarvente and Monika.
• Rule 34 – Creator Reactions: The existence of porn of Sky — an underaged character according to the coder ^note At the time; later comments suggest Sky was never meant to be underaged, outside of behavior., but not the artist — is a key reason why the creator of the mod has removed it. Or rather, it was removed because people kept sending porn of Sky to the creator of the character, who is a minor, to a Discord server that he was on. According to the re-upload description, bbpanzu was aware that Rule 34 would inevitably apply to Sky, but decided to go ahead with the mod against better judgment.
• Streisand Effect: bbpanzu deleted the original mod and does everything he can to try and keep knowledge of it existing on the down-low, since the controversies around it were seriously affecting bfswifeforever, the person who inspired the mod. This actually resulted in the exact opposite of what he wanted, with countless mirror sites and several Youtubers deliberately keeping the mod alive due to both love for it and refusal to accept bbpanzu's reasoning for deleting such a popular mod, along with the new deletion controversy causing the harassment of bfswifeforever to get worse instead of go away.
• What Could Have Been: When several fans noticed that the vocals for Sunday sounded a lot like Sky, with most of the comments coming after the remaster brought it more attention, bbpanzu stated that all of Sky's songs were originally supposed to utilize the sound font used in "Wife Forever", but he somehow ended up accidentally using Sunday's sound font for the next two instead.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things:
  • bbpanzu deleted the mod off of GameBanana due to not only people harassing him over what bfswifeforever was doing after the mod got popular, but because people were both harassing the account owner and making pornographic fanart of the character, whose creator is a minor, out of spite.^note  However, in a public statement◊ of bfswifeforever in his community, he apologized and thus confessed to have posted gore and porn himself without any sort of spoiler tags in the middle of conversations, which from the phrasing appears to be real motive as to why he was attacked to begin with.
  • The mod's page on Funkipedia was edit locked for the same reasons, and partnership with several Roblox Friday Night Funkin' multiplayer games were cancelled, causing the Sky songs (and in a specific game, purchaseable singing animations based on Sky) to be removed from them. These decisions appear to have been reversed following the release of Sky Remanifested and the re-upload of the original mod.
