  • Acting for Two:
    • AderuMoro voices Reznya and Toki.
    • Korre does the voices of Loen, Lucario, the border patrol, and the Fenri cultist in Potato Gun.
    • Coffinjockey voices Brynn, as well as the thugs Brynn takes down in THIS IS THE WAE.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Conan, a young boy, is voiced by Emirichu.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • After the first episode of KILL CONTRACT was taken down over a copyright issue, fans started re-uploading it to YouTube, as well as to other video hosting sites.
    • Some of the skits/parodies and figure reviews are also being re-uploaded by fans after meeting a similar fate.
  • Meme Acknowledgement: In an unusual stay-one-step-ahead-of-the-comment-section kind of way for KILL CONTRACT 2: Once Upon a Time in Uganda, where the viewers were encouraged at the end of the episode to add #deadmeme to their comments to get a response from the creator about questions they may have, in acknowledgement that the meme that the Ugandan Knuckles characters featured in the episode came from, was already a Discredited Meme by the time the episode came out.
  • Out of Holiday Episode: A Side of Shrapnel: Valentines Day came out on February 15, the day after the holiday.
  • Schedule Slip: So far the bulk of the miniseries episodes (four of them) came out in 2018, and afterwards the rate at which episodes came out slowed down, with the next installment coming out roughly 2 years after the last episode, and as of this writing, it has been another 2 years since that. Word of God is that there are some things in the setting & story that need to be worked out, hence the long waits.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers:
    • Due to the antagonists of the first episode of KILL CONTRACT being Minions, Illumination Entertainment had the video struck down, claiming it violated their copyright.
      • Some of the figure reviews and skits/parodies featuring Shrapnel characters have since met similar fates from other companies doing the same.
    • In a Q&A, Moonshine noted that when the main Shrapnel series gets going, he would like to have more original characters in the cast created for the series, as opposed to characters from other franchises, likely in part because the latter could potentially lead to more legal/copyright problems, such as more episodes being struck down.
  • Word of God: Due partly to its removal, as well as its function as a "proof of concept" of sorts, the events of KILL CONTRACT: Minions were retconned to be non-canon.
