• Anime First: The anime was already in production when the manga adaptation was serialized in Dengeki Daioh magazine.
• Directed by Cast Member: In the English dub, Tony Oliver and Wendee Lee were the ADR directors and provided additional voices.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: According to director Toshiya Shinohara, "We did have a vague direction (which was to resolve the interpersonal issues of the characters), but the conclusion greatly transformed with the progression of the story."
• Written by Cast Member: In the English dub, Chris Cason voices the homeroom teacher and is also one of the ADR writers.
