Trivia / Bullseye US

Go To

  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Bullseye hasn't been in repeats for quite a while, or at least not on a regular basis (CBN Cable aired it from 1982-83, and USA Network picked it up from 1985-87). GSN has aired episodes from both seasons, but rarely if ever in a regular timeslot.
    • What's really weird is that there's about nine Celebrity episodes among collectors, none of which are consecutive or even share a celebrity. Really the only things that help in placement are in-show notes and the opening montages of upcoming celebs.
      • 1981 copyright date: Lynn Redgrave vs. Harvey Korman (December 7, 1981 premiere); F. Lee Bailey vs. Patrick Wayne (December 1981, as Jim notes Bailey beat Korman and Gloria Loring); Donna Pescow vs. Rosey Grier; Rita Moreno vs. Diane Ladd (with Roxie Roker playing later); Fred Travelena at Lightning, then vs. Phyllis Diller.
      • 1982 copyright date: Shecky Greene vs. Jim Brown (with Jack Coleman playing later); Loanne Bishop vs. Ken Kercheval (with Lynda Goodfriend playing later); Ernest Borgnine vs. Suzy Chaffee (with Marla Gibbs playing later); Jerry Mathers vs. Tina Louise (with Arte Johnson playing later).

  • Real Song Theme Tune: The pilot used portions of Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda note . The series used a Hal Hidey-composed theme and package that was in some places a Suspiciously Similar Song.
