  • Channel Hop: In the U.S., the first two seasons initially aired on CBS, before Nickelodeon picked it up in 1999 for a third and final season.
  • Cross-Regional Voice Acting: Season 3 mixes in actors from both the greater Toronto area and New York.
  • International Coproduction: The series was a co-production between Morgan Creek in the U.S., as well as Nelvana (seasons 1-2) and Odyssey Entertainment (season 3) in Canada.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Was the case for a long time. The first season was released on VHS, three episodes were released on DVD in a package with the two movies, and the first episode was included as an extra with the Blu-ray release of the first movie. The series did appear briefly through Tubi near the end of 2021, but was removed at the start of 2022. The first season can be viewed on YouTube, with the exception of "The Reindeer Hunter". Now, the full series is currently avaliable on Amazon Prime.
  • Production Posse: Many of the staff from Eek! The Cat worked on the first two seasons of Ace; both were Nelvana co-productions.
  • Role Reprise: In the French dub, Ace is voiced by Emmanuel Curtil, reprising his role from the movies.
  • Unspecified Role Credit: Aside from Michael Daingerfield (credited as Michael Hall) as Ace Ventura, the ending credits list the voice actors and not which characters they voiced.
