* ChannelHop: In the U.S., the first two seasons initially aired on Creator/{{CBS}}, before Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} picked it up in 1999 for a third and final season.
* CrossRegionalVoiceActing: Season 3 mixes in actors from both the greater Toronto area and New York.
* InternationalCoproduction: The series was a co-production between Creator/MorganCreek in the U.S., as well as Creator/{{Nelvana}} (seasons 1-2) and Odyssey Entertainment (season 3) in Canada.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Was the case for a long time. The first season was released on VHS, three episodes were released on DVD in a package with the two movies, and the first episode was included as an extra with the Blu-ray release of the first movie. The series did appear briefly through Creator/{{Tubi}} near the end of 2021, but was removed at the start of 2022. The first season can be viewed on [=YouTube=], with the exception of "The Reindeer Hunter". Now, the full series is currently avaliable on Amazon Prime.
* ProductionPosse: Many of the staff from ''WesternAnimation/EekTheCat'' worked on the first two seasons of ''Ace''; both were Nelvana co-productions.
* RoleReprise: In the French dub, Ace is voiced by Creator/EmmanuelCurtil, reprising his role from the movies.
* UnspecifiedRoleCredit: Aside from Creator/MichaelDaingerfield (credited as Michael Hall) as Ace Ventura, the ending credits list the voice actors and not which characters they voiced.
