Times where someone insists "The Show Must Go On!" regardless of setbacks in Fan Works.

Crossovers

Danganronpa

  • In Three-Point Shot, the mastermind of V3's killing game is unknowingly executed by the class. Yet the game continues without them, and it's implied that they were rapidly replaced behind the scenes.

"Discworld"

  • In A.A. Pessimal's "Clowning is a Serious Business," when an attempt is made to sabotage one of the performances of the all-female "Monstrous Circus" by weakening one of the ropes, the lead performer declares her intent to carry on, citing this trope as one of the oldest maxims of show business. This promptly earned her the respect of Doctor Whiteface, the head of the Fools' Guild.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

  • An Extended Performance: This serves as a central pillar of Trixie's unusual code of honor. She's so intent upon completing her show that she refuses to leave the stage when the Sun fails the rise, continuing her performance even as the city burns around her. Even when a coven of black magicians threatens her life, she faces them down rather than stopping.

Pretty Cure

  • Futari Wa Pretty Cure Blue Moon: In Episode 19, all the fighting takes place offstage so that Asa and Yoko can't see what's going on, and so the group can continue their performance. Yukari suspects that Tachimany went along with this out of respect for fellow actors.

Total Drama

  • The New Noah:
    • When the Drama Brothers' opening act for their summer tour comes down with a bad case of food poisoning, Nicole and Noah have to put together a setlist for a last-minute opening act.
    • Later, when Justin gets kicked out of the band in the middle of their tour, Noah is nominated as an emergency replacement.
