Crypton Future Media Vocaloids

     Miku Hatsune 
The main heroine of the series. A sixteen-year-old girl with distinctive teal hair done in twintails. Wielding green onion as her weapon of choice.

  • A-Cup Angst: Feeling insecure about her... measurement, especially when dr. Norton saying hers is quite small
    Miku: A jerkass detected! Engage attack mode!
    Len: MIKU! DON'T!
  • Improbable Weapon User: Her weapons are green onions, which used as swords.
  • Light 'em Up: In the third game, Miku gains Light element and a series of Light attack spells. This also makes her both strong and weak againts Darkness element.
  • Magic Knight: Miku has the highest natural Attack stat and also the highest Max HP in the series. Her speed is also quite high, only slower than Len. Her movepool includes physical attacks and support songs that buffs the party. The Lost Song emphasizes her magical spectrum by giving her Light spells and healing spells, though this was balanced by her low MP.

     Rin Kagamine 
A fourteen-year-old girl with short blonde hair, wear a large white ribbon on her headset. In the original game, she temporally took over as the party's leader when Miku is unavailable for story reasons. The female counterpart of Len.
  • The Red Mage: The Lost Song turned her into this, as she lost most of her healing songs. She now learns "Cheer", which recovers HP and grant buffs to any party member except herself.
  • Shock and Awe: Her offensive spells are Lightning elemental.
  • Token Mini-Moe: Rin was this in the first game. This was not the case anymore after The Lost Song introduces Yuki Kaai.
  • White Mage: In the first and second game, she is the only one that learns healing and status ailment removal songs. However, the third game instead turn her into The Red Mage.

     Len Kagamine 
A fourteen-year-old boy with blond hair tied into a short ponytail. In the original game, he was kidnapped by Bugs and joined the party after being rescued in the HDD Archives. The male counterpart of Rin.

  • Blow You Away: His offensive spells are Wind elemental, which hits all enemies at once.
  • Distressed Dude: During the Bugs' invansion of Install, one of them kidnaps Len and run away. Later, the Vocaloids learn that the Bugs brought him to the HDD Library and they goes there to save him.
  • Fragile Speedster: Len has very high speed and could boost it even further with one of his skills. However, his attack is middling at best and he's quite frail.
  • Token Mini-Moe: He's the only young male Vocaloid featured in the series.
