Snail Bob is a Puzzle Game series made by Hunter Hamster. The first game that it takes the series name from released as a Flash game in November 2010, with it being updated to HTML5 in March 2017.

The player guides the titular snail through various obstacles, with the ultimate goal of completing the story that the specific installment lands Snail Bob into. Objects can be interacted with or dragged into place, and Snail Bob can be clicked on to pause him in his tracks. His speed can also be adjusted to finish the level more quickly and get a higher score. Just be mindful of the ways that Snail Bob can die, or it's Game Over.

The installments in this game series are:

  • Snail Bob (2010): Bob's house gets demolished, so he goes off to find a new home.
  • Snail Bob 2 (2011): [grandpa]
  • Snail Bob 3 (2012)(?): [Egypt]
  • Snail Bob 4 :
  • Snail Bob 5:
  • Snail Bob 6:
  • Snail Bob 7:
  • Snail Bob 8:

The first and second games were remade and released on mobile.

The Snail Bob series contains examples of:

  • Big Red Button: Level 17 of the first game has a button that says "DANGER - DO NOT PUSH". If it is clicked, Bob gets melted into Sickly Green Glowing goop and his Winged Soul Flies Off at Death.
  • Character in the Logo: For the web releases, the "o" in the title is replaced by Snail Bob himself, inside a glass bubble.
  • Head-Turning Beauty: Bob catches sight of a female snail on the platform above him, which makes him do a 180 by himself note  to follow her. He ends up falling onto a lower platform and has to take a longer path to the exit.
  • High-Voltage Death: Walking into an exposed electrical wire near a puddle while the current is running will cause Bob to flash with X-Ray Sparks before biting the dust.
  • Man on Fire: An outline that indicates the snail can get burned alive depicts Bob with his shell on fire. Touching lava or fire makes Bob drop his shell and scream, fleeing with a red hot backside.
  • The Many Deaths of You: Zigzagged. There are several ways that Bob can die, but the Game Over screen implies that he's only injured, even in cases where he gets disintegrated. There are other game over scenarios where he's alive, but usually not unscathed:
    • In the first game, you can die from falling into an abyss, getting squashed, touching lava or flames note , flying off on a hot air balloon out of the level's bounds, getting melted by a gas released by a button with a danger warning, getting electrocuted,
  • Winged Soul Flies Off at Death: Some Game Over scenarios feature a translucent winged slug with a harp and a halo floating up and away from Snail Bob's dead body.
    • Level 4 of the first game is the first place that Bob can die, as indicated by the drawing right under the (unsupported) windmill bridge - which is a white outline of Snail Bob with a halo over him and wings sprouting off of his shell. If a piece of wood isn't dragged underneath the turning bridge, Bob will fall to his doom.
  • Wolf Whistle: In the first game, when a female snail glides on the platform above, Snail Bob turns around with hearts in his eyes, letting out a whistle as he follows her.
