From the Martial Arts Uniform cutting project, some potentials if there's to be a TLP about wearing a gi in non-fighting situations. Not sure if all of these fit, but they're my likeliest candidates.
- Neither a Bird nor a Plane, it's Deku!: Tomboyish Itsuka, being the daugther of a martial arts master, wears a gi to the U.A. Entrance Exam.
- Shenmue:
- Iwao Hazuki, Ryo's father and the master of the Hazuki dojo, is only ever depicted wearing a gi.
- Masayuki Fukuhara, a dojo student, is always wearing his gi. He was taken in by Iwao and made a member of the family due to his diligence and honesty.
- The World God Only Knows: Kusunoki Kasuga, captain of the karate club, generally wears her gi when she's not in her school uniform.
- Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie: Of the dogi-wearing characters, Ryu is the only one who never changes into any other outfit.
- The Art of Self-Defense: Casey begins to spend all his time at home wearing his gi after he starts taking karate classes.
- Miraculous Ladybug: Alya's Knight Templar Big Sister Nora is never seen without her kickboxing outfit. Helps identifying her as a Muay Thai practitioner due her uniform including pra jiad
armbands. - Kengan Ashura: Jurota wears a white Judo gi with a black belt, and a hakama over it when he's not in the ring along with classic geta sandals. Okubo goes as far as to accuse him as cosplaying when he steps in the ring. As it turns out, the Old Master appearance is more than justified.
- Dragon Ball: Once Goku gets his first uniform from Roshi at his first tournament, it becomes his outfit of choice, and he's rarely seen in anything other than some version of it — and usually only when it's been destroyed, and he doesn't have a spare handy.
- In Yokoka's Quest: After Yokoka begins training in the underground village, she is given martial arts clothes to replace the pajamas she wore previously. She wears this as her default outfit, including at the cafeteria and going travelling, until they get destroyed in a fight.
