Some stories centered in relationships will have an antagonist who seeks to break up the protagonist and their Love Interest and then hook up with the latter out of spite for whatever reason, usually out of envy. When asked about her boyfriend, Katie replied he was a "useless bum" and asked her to help get rid of him. Eventually, she relented when Ali showed her the texts that denote he was not interested in her.

Later on, Karen gloated about having a rich husband all to herself, only for Melissa to reveal her ex-husband is unemployed and that she's the CEO.
- "My sister stole my fiancé, so I called everyone...": Karen stole Nancy's boyfriend, Bruce, as he was revealed to have dated the former behind the latter's back. When Nancy took her to task, their mother, Madison, took Karen's side and let them get married. However, Nancy decided to travel overseas and years later she became successful, marrying a man from there. Meanwhile, Madison, Karen, and Bruce live a miserable life because of their foolishness.
- "My sister stole all of my boyfriends and I was really hurt but then": Erin was a TikToker went out of her way to charm and steal Ariel's boyfriends to show her up and gloat about how beautiful she is than her. Moreover, Erin doesn't even care for the boyfriends she stole because she only did this to hurt her. When Ariel dated her former high-school classmate, Sean, at the suggestion of her best friend, Karen, Erin tried to steal him as well and even followed them down the street until Sean gave her a blistering rant for being a manipulative vixen until she gave up and ran away crying.
- "My sister slept with my husband and so I invited our parents to teach her a lesson": OP's younger sister, Mary, went out of her way to use her charm to steal the former's potential boyfriends. When she slept with the former's husband while she was away working, both lovebirds locked the bedroom door to keep her from interrupting. However, the OP refused to back down and called over both her parents and in-laws to punish them.

- "My boss stole my big contract and my girlfriend and forced me to quit...": Jack's boss not only bullied him for being "worthless" but also stole his girlfriend, Jill, by making him out to be useless as a man and flexing his wealth and success. Furthermore, Jill sided with the boss and dumped him because of that. However, when the CEO of Revenge Company had both the boss and Bob fired for trying to steal the contract, Jill tried to get back with him, but he lied about having a girlfriend to get her off his back.
- 'An old friend "I slept with your husband.""That's not my husband…"': Blair, Ali's bully from back in high school, was bitter over Ali marrying a rich man while she was a Struggling Single Mother. When she appeared to have stolen Ali's husband, she cut Blair's gloating short by revealing the man was her husband's lazy twin brother who swindled women out of their money, after looking more carefully at the photo.
- "My best friend tells me my boyfriend is really cool, a few months later she marries him!": OP's best friend, Sukat, constantly pestered the former into introducing her boyfriend to her. After the OP caved in and Sukat complimented him for his status and looks while he reveled in them, OP's sister caught the man cheating on her with Sukat, but she freaked out and forgot to snap a photo of the lovebirds. When OP herself confronted her about it, she shamelessly gloated that she didn't need a friend but a husband.
- "My first husband was lazy, unmotivated, and even cheated on me": After Mark told her he was the CEO of a successful company, Karen decided he was a catch. Therefore, she got him into the sack so he would divorce his wife Sarah and marry her instead. After getting the couple divorced, Karen finds out Mark isn't who he seems. When Sarah reveals the truth about Mark, Karen panics and tries to give him back to her, but she has none of it.
- "My older sister always liked stealing my boyfriends. At my wedding, she attacked me, and…": Ashley went out of her way to steal potential boyfriends from her younger sister, Nancy. Moreover, Ashley also tried to sabotage her weight-loss efforts and even showed up at the bar where Nancy and Thomas booked their date with the express purpose of stealing him. However, when she gets slapped by Thomas for the cruel crap she said to Nancy, Ashley escalated her attempts to make Thomas dump her, which eventually resulted in exposing Nancy's past fat appearance and accusing her of getting plastic surgery. And when that didn't work, she assaulted the bride, ruining her makeup and dress only to be chewed out by the whole family for her tantrum.
- "My sister always tried to steal from me, but then…": OP's twin sister, Daisy, went out of her way to not only ruin her friendships but to steal any potential boyfriend from the former. When Daisy gloated to the OP about having stolen the latter's latest boyfriend and showed her a photo to confirm it, OP laughed it off and revealed the man wasn't her boyfriend, but her stalker, whom she filed a restraining order against. From there on, Daisy's life takes a turn for the worst as the man is obsessed with her and has no one to turn to.
